The Ravenclaw Table 2018-2019
Holly was just sitting there in her seat with her shades on her forehead, watching the others kick their chairs, chat and socialize, she looked a little bit dazed from the train ride and didn't really eat much yet, she turned right to see Mac try and catch Theo, and girns from holding her laughter back, from how clumsy Theo is and how Mac almost freaked out.
She turns to get food with her fork, as Mac warns Theo about falling off the chair. "This guy is quite caring for kids our age..." she thought to herself, and decides to speak to a couple of people.
"Heh, you really do sound like my mom when i go climbing over fences."
she joked, still not really eating much since she still felt sick from the train ride, out of sheer boredom she starts to mess around with her fork and spoon and somehow manages to attach the knife to the end of the fork, which is placed on the side of the plate, with the spoon and a piece of jelly on top, she hits the knife's handle and launches the jelly at her open mouth, unfortunately it misses and it hits her between the eyes, she staggers backwards a bit as reaction and hits her head on the back on her chair her shades fall from her forehead into place and she catches a stare from some of the other students at the table, Holly instantly blushes and smiles awkwardly, taking the shades off and shoving it into the hoodie of her robe. she shuts up and eats the jelly properly.

Theo couldn't help but let out a laugh at Mac being so worried about him falling. He did feel bad in a way as well, but he mostly found it funny. Yeah, if he fell and died or something it might hurt, but he wouldn't do that. Probably. Maybe.
"Nahh, I'm fine! Thanks for worrying about me, Ma." He giggled at his own joke. Mac really did act like a mother. Well, maybe a father, since he was a boy. Eh, who cares? Maybe he could be a mother if he really wanted to. Who was Theo to stop him from following his dreams? "Yeah, she definitely came around. I'm excited about learning to use magic, well, intentionally!" All of the times he had used magic in his life, it was when he wasn't aware he was using it. He turned at the new voice, grinning at the girl.
"That's what I said! Well, not the fences part. Maybe she scolded me once about climbing over a fence, though? It definitely sounds possible." He turned back to Mac. "Sorry, this is your life now. Guess you have to find a way to balance school with being a mother, huh?" A part of him felt bad for teasing Mac, but the other part totally didn't feel sorry.

"Hm-?" He turned to face the newcomer, just in time to see her catapult her jello directly into her forehead. Mac covered his mouth as he giggled, snorting as he tried to hide his amusement. He felt awful for laughing, but he couldn't comprehend how someone could even do that. "Oh, goodness! Are you okay?" he asked her, voice laced with both nervous laughter and genuine concern. Then Theo began to tease him, and Mac could feel his ears heating up with an embarrassed flush.
"I-I'm not a mother!" Mac stammered as he looked back at Theo. "I just don't want nobody gettin' hurt, that's all." The last thing he wanted was for anyone to get themselves hurt on their first day of school. What if Theo had cracked his skull open? Then they'd have to rush him to the nurse- oh dear, that'd be awful!
He wondered if a visit to the nurse was anything like it was at a normal school... or if they'd just cast a spell on you and be on their merry way. Broken bone? Treat it with a wee bit of magic. Boom, you're cured! Did it work that way? He hoped it did. How marvelous. That would the sort of magic he would want to do; the kind that would help people. Maybe he could even be a professor, one day.
Or... maybe he was getting ahead of himself. He didn't know how to cast a single spell, yet.

She smiles back to Mac, "No... I'm fine... Its just jello and a head slam... Thanks for caring though." Holly puts down her fork after eating that singular cube of jello. She actually lets out a little laugh when Theo teases Mac then she turns away for a bit before looking back in their direction.
"Whoopsie... I didn't mean to ...... ah nevermind. He doesn't seem like the kind that take it too personally."
she thought to herself before attempting to fix her mistake.
"I-I didn't mean that...... don't get me wrong you really did sort of sound like her but uhhh... you'll make a g-great dad. I can be sure of that, ... who are you two anyway?"
she asks, it was best to make some friends at the table before proceeding anywhere else, she thought. As friends are generally fun to hang out with, and could come in handy when she inevitably gets in trouble at school.
"I-I'm Holly and uh... it's nice to meet both of you."
