Hey Car! I know I just saw you at the station yesterday, but I already miss you and the others. I hope George, Olive, Emmet, mom, dad and you had a good and safe ride back home to Liverpool after saying goodbye to me, Julian and Cyn. I know dad and mom doesn’t want us to know a lot about the magical world before we are old enough to attend Hogwarts, but if you want I can tell you what I know. Like what cool things there is to see here at Hogwarts! Just promise me you won’t tell any of your friends or Olive, George or Emmet, okey? You know the muggle’s can’t know about us wizards, right? It’s important you don’t tell them!
On my way back from the sorting ceremony yesterday I saw a headless ghost talking to some gryffindor students! He was holding his head in his right hand and he was floating in the air! And…. I got sorted into Hufflepuff by the way!

Hi Abbey. The ride back home was boring, but we made it without any problems on the way. The only thing that happened was that George almost forgot his backpack when we were walking off the train. I miss you a lot too! I hope I get to see you before Christmas break, I can’t wait til then!
I know it’s important I don’t tell any of my muggle friends about the magical world and about magic. Mom and dad keep telling me every time magic is the subject in the conversation. If I absolutely have to write it for you to tell me about Hogwarts, then here you go: I Oscar Thompson promise to not tell my young siblings or any muggle on this earth about us wizards and witches. Believe me now?
But, wait. Like for real? You really saw a headless ghost! That sounds so cool! Dad never told us about headless ghost holding their heads while talking. And floating in the air two! I bet they can walk through walls without any problems, can they? And congrats on getting sorted into Hufflepuff. It suits you and I’m not shocked to be honest. I don’t think dad or mom is going to be shocked either when I tell them.

And yeah it’s true. I did see a headless ghost floating in the air! I think you would love to see it too if you were here at Hogwarts. It was really cool! I haven’t seen them walk through walls, but I’m sure you’re right. I mean their normal ghosts, so why wouldn’t they be able too?

Can you tell me about how you’re doing? I mean, do you have any friends yet? Are you well liked? Hated? That’s a dumb question I know… I think it’s hard for people to get on your bad side, right? Do you have a favourite subject? Let me guess, charms? Or potions?
Mom and dad are also wondering how you’re doing. They have a lot of the same questions as I have, but you know some boring ones like, “are you doing your homework” and “are you eating healthy.” They told me to say that they’re proud of you. I think I said it now. Or do I have to actually say it?
Anyway, dad is going to send you a letter from all of us I think. Soon he said, so about the end of the week maybe. Dad always says soon and then it’s like a day later or two weeks. You just never know…
