Primrose stopped when the steps behind her did, curiously looking behind her.
''Sterling? Helloo?'' She called out in a sound similar to a whisper, following him.
When she found him worry was all over her face, she knew that some people simply didn't enjoy attention. Airlia wouldn't be caught death acting improper and if anyone knew Kamryn had owned a dress once upon a time she'd die on the spot. The hufflepuff carefully approached the boy, making sure to give him space this time.
''I'm sorry- are you okay? You don't like attention, do you?'' Primrose apologized, making sure students weren't looking as she gave the book back and placed her hand comfortingly on his arm. Damn his height. ''Seriously, I was just joking around. Sorry if I crossed a line uh- I'm serious though. I'll become your friend one way or another, Mezarim.''
She was confident but still very clearly worried about him, searching for any sign of discomfort. Primrose may not agree with his opinions but he was still a person, most likely a good one at that when he didn't have to deal with all that pure-blood nonsense.
''Just be patient with me, yeah? If you end up hating me even more I'll uh...pay you?'' She let out a little laugh, smiling in a try to make him understand she was being genuine.

Mezarim was "looking" through the books that was on the shelf when he noticed something light in the corner of his eyes, as it came up closer to him he could by every step the person took see clearly the blond curls and then there she was again Primrose, she didn't give up that easily did she.
''I'm sorry- are you okay? You don't like attention, do you?''
Mezarim shrugged "I guess I don't want to be having attention running after you through out the whole Library." Turning from the books and looking at the girl again, he looked down at the hand she had placed on his arm, for a breif moment he felt like she might even care about him but he quickly shook her hand off his arm and adjusted his sleave where the hand had been placed.
As the eleven year old he was he sure knew how to have fun...or maybe not.
"I don't need you as a friend and I don't want you as a friend
He said again trying to make it clear for her that he didn't want her as his friend he didn't want to embarasse himself wandering around with her around him. Just the thought made him shiver.
Even as the stubborn she was she had to relaise some day that their friendship would never ever happen she just had to.
''Just be patient with me, yeah? If you end up hating me even more I'll uh...pay you?''
He held the book under his arm as he listened at Primrose, but couldn't help but let a slight chuckle escape his lips "would you pay for me to like you" If he would be real to himself that had to be the nicest thing anyone had said to him in a while, just to make him like her...
But then he thought again, maybe he could use this against her.. but she were probably too clever to even fall for something like that. In the period they had talked he could sense she was maybe not as stupid as she looked. Even if they had two different beliefs she was the one with the best reasoning "even if they were wrong"

''I want you to actually like me! If I wanted to pay someone to gain favor I'd like... I don't know, pay a teacher?'' Primrose frowned, looking as stubborn as ever.
''Seriously- we must have something in common, yeah? and if not we will just..still be friends. Because I truly believe there is something good in you and no I don't mean the whole 'blood' thing, I mean that i truly believe you just think the way you do because of your parents'' She nodded as if that made sense at all.
''Seriously- when have they ever given you proof what they are saying is true? You haven't even met my father, yet I'm sure your parents have thrown it at you that he doesn't care about his family, yeah? That he simply decided to rebel and chose to speak ill of pure-blood witches and wizards and is disrespectful to those who are proud of their heritage?'' She had heard it all before, Primrose was a professional at spotting when people were judging her parents; the amount of glares she'd sent was impossible to count.
''What if I told you, he had a reason, hm? one even you could understand and accept~'' She knew Slytherins were just as knowledge hungry as Ravenclaws at times, even if their knowledge was more in the social aspect a lot of the time.

Mezarim moved some of his hair away from his forehead looking up as he thought over the words she said, "hmm let me think.." He paused for a breif moment and tapping his finger on his chin "no.. there is nothing that we have in common and I can prove it, and it's not just the blood thing, I can't be around anyone who doesn't aprove of that, and It's not what my parents say I believe so aswell."
He said letting his hand fall down to his side again, listening as the girl started talking again, seriously this girl was never quiet. "There is a lot of proof, they have told stories to me and i know how they can be..the mudbloods, and I don't need to meet your father to know all I have to know, he choosed to betray everything he had, his family. Either he was foolish or selfish, poor your grandparents knowing how much they were put in the shadow for a long time, that they were the once raising a child like that, I have never even thought about betraying my family."
He paused again when the girl spoke and started leaning on the bookshelf hoping it all wouldn't come down tumbeling. "Of course he had a reason, that I am not stupid to not understand, but sometimes you have to think one step further, your father is selfish I don't need to hear more, and you are his daughter of xourse you are going to protect him" He smirked down at the girl, if is father heard what he was saying he would be proud he knew it, maybe it was because he himself sounded like his own father.

''What are those stories then? Because let me tell you, they are most likely just what some old man thought sounded good, ask your parents the next time if they have proof..if you dare of course'' She looked curiously at the boy.
''My poor grandparents? My grandmother used to lock my father in a closet when he wasn't standing straight enough, she tried to marry him off to an awful woman multiple times and she is a liar to the point where even a Slytherin would find it disturbing. My grandfather disowned me because I looked too much like my mother and has since openly declared me as a disgrace to my family, trying to very vocally make sure my future won't be promising. There is no real pity coming from me to them'' Once she was done with her little rant she sighed, looking at one of the big windows.
''Pure-blood families mix up respect and fear.'' Primrose stated casually, removing the ribbon from her hair and re-adjusting it. ''And honestly, I am very critical of my mum and dad. I often think it would've been better if they hadn't had a child to begin with- but I love them. I know they love me and that's all I really need to know, they know I'll speak up if they do things I'm not okay with- and they will listen.'' She was always proud of her family in that regard. They communicated, for her dad it had been so incredibly important to know what his child truly felt and Primrose was everyday taught to speak her mind.

"Us Wizards and witches are in this world apart from the muggles because how they treated us, we went into hiding because we wanted to avoid persecution from Muggles. Why would we ever accept muggles who have magic to just be accepted after everything, just because they have magic doesn't that mean they are any less muggles. We do not think or act in the way a Muggle does that is why I don't like them. Maybe that was a long time ago but that doesn't mean muggles are different" He looked away from Primrose as he spoke
When talking about her granparents he didn't really understand what the problem was he wasn't going to judge a well known family for how they were raising their children and if what they did didn't even get her father in the right state of mind then what could.
When thinking about his parents did he know how little he knew about them, Primrose was telling Mezarim all the stories about her family things only them inside the family would know that wouldn't be wirten in any book. But Mezarim himself didn't know anything about his parents or family except what was in an old book, he looked down at the book he was holding. He knew nothing.
"I wouldn't be the right to put any critique to how they raised your father but it seems like it wasn't enought" He shrugged.
" And why would you critisise your own parents if they are older and wiser even if they aren't as wise as my own parent obviously, but they sure know more than you a eleven year old does."
Mezarim wouldn't in 100 years critisise his own parents nor his family never..

''People are scared of what they cannot understand, and it is our job to educate them so they don't have to feel fear'' She looked at him with a frown.
She looked a bit surprised but simply shook her head, he didn't know better.
''Because that isn't being a parent. That is being a tyrant. Respect and fear are different, when your kids fear you they don't respect you as a parent- they fear you as an authoritarian figure.'' She nodded as the words left her mouth. Primrose had read a lot lately it seemed.
''I mean, in some ways yes. They have seen and experienced more, but that doesn't mean they can't be incorrect. If your parents looked up at the sky and said it was green, they'd still be wrong even if you lie and agree with them that you say it is green as well. '' She giggled a bit at her example. ''Me being able to tell my parents that, hey that wasn't okay- means we respect each other as people. My mum and dad still makes the rules, they are still my parents- but they make sure I understand every rule they make. ''
''They explain why I can't do this thing, instead of just telling me why- they accept that sometimes they go too far. Stuff like that''

It was no point in trying to get her to change how she saw things she was just too stuck up in her world that it would never help whatever he said.
Strange but he knew that it was the same way around, she might talk and sound like she is clever but she wouldn't be able to trick him into believing something that truly wasn't the truth.
Mezarim was thinking over what Primrose just said, that respect and fear was different of course it was, but when he really thought about it he frowned. In all honesty he was afraid of his mother and more so his father, when he got mad or had one of his bad days he would lash it all out on Mezarim whatever the punishment might be Mezarim knew when he had to lock the door after himself when he heard mother and father argue or if father was home late slaming the door after himself. Even as tall as Mezarim was for an elev years old was he nothing compared to his father, and he would never be brave enough to tell his father was wrong. If he was angry and Mezarim was given the blame for his anger than his father was right Mezarim himself would never know why he was to blame just that he was the reason end of the discussion.
"Maybe parenting isn't the only way, I mean parents aren't your friend they are there to teach you about right and wrong..and i would never tell my parents they are wrong i just simply know they are right about things and there is no need to explain"

''Parents teach you about what is right and wrong but also- are there for you. It's the job of a parent to be supportive, Mezarim like uhh..When I started taking photos of things! My mum and dad didn't get it but they still bought me a camera!'' She grinned at the memory.
''If you fear your parents, there will be such a huge rift cause you won't be able to go to them if you are sad and stuff. My uncle Lawrence is a prime example of someone who because of it just has a hard time connecting to people..'' Primrose looked slightly sad, she honestly adored her uncle and missed talking with him. ''But hey- still! if you can't talk with your parents you can always talk with me! or uh- my parents I guess. My dad likes giving advice and helping people!! And mum has a lot of creatures you can pet!!'' Primrose sounded excited about just the mere idea, her eyes shining up with happiness and a giggle escaping her. ''It'd be great, you could meet our nifflers!! They are all suuper cute- and I think mum is getting a hippogriff or two in soon!!'' She could just imagine the poor Slytherin in the start, but he would probably like creatures quite well!

"Agreed parents should be supportive, like my parents bought me books when I asked them" Attemting to slime just the way Primrose did when she told something that reminder her of anything back home. The part that was difficult trying to smile for Mezarim was that it wasn't the truth, not even half the truth. Mezarim had to sneek into the library back home to even get a glimps of the books, his parents said they didn't want kids running around the old books.
"I don't have the problem in not having anyone to talk to when sad because I never get sad and if I did I am sure my parents would talk to me" Even saying so he knew that was another lie. But even if he got sad he wouldn't talk to his parents what were they going to do, their relation wasn't like that not at all.
"But also peolpe do have different relationships with their parents some are like yours and some are more traditional:."
Mezarim looked at Primrose and tried to picture what she was telling in his head with all the different cretures it sure looked like fun "I've heard hippogrifs can be dangerous also I wouldn't be allowed at summer break I am going to study" He smiled faitly. He knew that he would never be allowed to come and visit Primrose's family not a chanse.
