Hiding in the Shelves Open Closed

Amaya sat between some of the large, wooden shelves, and hid away from the studying tables. She didn't like to speak to people, because she knew it might turn out awkwardly like usual. She sat with Magical Drafts and Potions open in her lap, and papers and quills sitting all around her. People didn't seem to mind her sitting in the shelves, they glanced at her and walked by, or just flat-out ignored her, deciding they could find their book from this section later. Her mind was full of thoughts, and she really just wanted someone to talk to. She hated the thought of saying something that hurt someones feelings, and so she usually just stayed away. She would read through this book, take notes, and get good grades, all to make her parents proud. 'Her parents' was all she thought about, making them proud Hopefully making them proud.... she shook the thought out of her head. She hated to think of failing her classes, and going home to angry parents. She hoped they would be proud of her, no matter what, and they probably would. Right? She sighed, and read some of the book titles from behind her. She hoped no-one would come and ask her to move...
