Isabella looked at the pictures, featuring a small baby that resembled Maisie, but as a baby (obviously). Isabella let out a breath that she didn't realize she was holding. Thankfully, this was the bookmark's owner, and it wasn't just some thief or hoax looking for a bookmark. But then again, why would a thief want a bookmark?
"Yes! I definitely believe you now. It's nice you have those pictures. You look like a cute baby." Emile said, nodding at Maisie. "Sorry if I came off as rude, I just didn't want any stealing." He pointed at his prefect badge. "I just didn't want any stealing on school grounds. You seem like a lovely person, though." Emile said to Maisie, then looked at Isabella with a nod.
"Yeah, you do seem like a lovely person and have adorable baby pictures," Isabella agreed with Emile. "My baby pictures were all.. chubby me with my stuffed animal in my mouth. By the way, would you like to sit and stay with us, get to know the both of us? You're already here and sitting with us, why not stay a little longer?"
Isabella really needed to make friends at this school that she could bring over to her house during break. She was tired of writing to her grandparents and parents telling them that she had made plenty of friends. She also did not want to surprise her awaiting grandparents who just are eager to meet these new friends of Isabella. Plus, a prefect Gryffindor, a Ravenclaw, and a Hufflepuff could make one great trio.

There's only 13 minutes left to walk to herbology, "I guessed I'm not checking out a book anytime soon," Maisie thought."
Emile piped up, '"Yes! I definitely believe you now. It's nice you have those pictures. You look like a cute baby. Sorry if I came off as rude, I just didn't want any stealing. I just didn't want any stealing on school grounds. You seem like a lovely person, though." What a lovely kid. Very unlike Maisie, since all she does is bend the rules as much as she can. She was never much of a troublemaker, but she just loved testing her limits as much as possible. Aggravating people didn't bring her some sort of sinister euphoria, but she simply liked to run her fingers through hot situations without getting burned.
Then, Belle spoke, "Yeah, you do seem like a lovely person and have adorable baby pictures. My baby pictures were all.. chubby me with my stuffed animal in my mouth. By the way, would you like to sit and stay with us, get to know the both of us? You're already here and sitting with us, why not stay a little longer?" Bloody hell, there's only 11 minutes to get to herbology! I guess class just has to wait.
"Yeah sure, but I have to leave really soon," Maisie said, "I have herbology in about ten minutes, but we should definitely hang out sometimes. If you ever need me, I'm almost always by the astronomy tower or the owlery. Basically, I'm always as high up in the castle as I can." As if on queue, the librarian glared at us and shushed us the three of them. Of course, of course. Oh, how librarians go about their day; shushing students as often as they could.
9 minutes left. "Oh gods! I'm going to be late!" Maisie said as she realized the time. "If you want to hang out later, find me by the astronomy tower, or I'll just find you somewhere. Bye!"

Isabella asked, and Emile looked over at her, a bit unsure. Emile was the type of person who could tell how others were feeling, and most of the time his guesses were correct. Maisie seemed like she was in a hurry to go somewhere, which made sense as it was the middle of a school day. He still agreed with Isabella though, and he hoped she might ditch class to talk to them, even though that sounded very farfetched. They had literally just met and were strangers, so that didn't really make sense.
Emile looked down at his Herbology homework and sighed. He also had Herbology soon, but unlike Maisie he was not rushing to get there. Sure, the professor was a lovely person, but he hated turning in rushed homework. Being the son of two authors he felt like he always had to put in his all, and that meant spending a ton of time on his homework and trying to write details and information on it as he could. He wrote a bit more down as Isabella finished speaking and Maisie started to speak.
"Yeah sure, but I have to leave really soon," Maisie said, "I have Herbology in about ten minutes, but we should definitely hang out sometimes. If you ever need me, I'm almost always by the astronomy tower or the Owlery. Basically, I'm always as high up in the castle as I can." As Emile was about to answer, he got interrupted by the librarians and he shook his head at himself. It was really quite annoying how many times they could shush a student even if they were even talking that loudly or bothering anyone.
"I don't think Professor Barclay would want people hanging out in his tower." Emile said followed by a small chuckle. Even so, Emile liked the idea of hanging out in the Astronomy Tower..it seemed like it was somewhat of a magical place, even for Hogwarts, and his couple classes he had there had been absolutely amazing. He was tired during the classes, but it was still very interesting and fun. He always looked forward to Astronomy Class.
"Oh gods! I'm going to be late! If you want to hang out later, find me by the astronomy tower, or I'll just find you somewhere. Bye!" Maisie said, and Emile felt his head and posture sink a bit. She had to leave for her class, burt he was still a bit sad she had to. He had just met her and he always loved to meet new people.
"Bye, then. See you around." Emile said, his tone filled with sadness.
