Ravenclaw v Slytherin Quidditch Game Finished

As River flew around, keeping a keen eye out for anything shiny and gold, she heard a loud whack. Her head looked left, only to see a girl, from the slytherin team, head straight for the ground below. Awesome work, she thought, and looked to her team mates. Jeez, that was quite a fall though, I hope she’ll be alright.

River could swear she heard the light sound of tiny fluttering wings every now and then. She just hadn’t managed to spot the bloody thing. Her eyes landed on the slytherin seeker, It looked like he still had the same luck as her. River took a deep breath, as she continued keeping her mind focused.

Not only did they score previously, but then Ravenclaw had the gall to try and do it again. Thankfully, Elijah grabbed the red ball and stopped that attempt dead in its tracks.
Then, Dan would see one of his teammates knocked right off her broom. Despite telling himself not to think about chaser keeper and beater matters, he could not stop the anger from boiling. He shook his head and calmed himself. This was not the moment for getting carried away. He was sure that his team would pay them back. No one slights a Slytherin and gets off scot free. And furthermore, all of Ravenclaws efforts would amount to nothing if he could just catch the snitch.

Speaking of, WHERE WAS THE BASTARD THING!?!?! No. Calm. CAAALM. Dan looked at River, and it seemed she hadn't found it yet either. That was a welcome relief.
Dan scanned the field, looking in every direction. He kept his mind focused on finding small, flitting movements, and anything shiny and yellow. He blocked out the sounds of cheering and anything else the crowd was doing. Instead, he kept his ears open to the sound of flitting wings. He'd heard that the snitch could sometimes have a cocky sense of humor, and liked to flit about beside a seeker's head. He'd felt it earlier; JUST by his head. But he wasn't able to catch sight of it.

He still wanted to be angry. But, he blocked the emotion from himself. For now, his one and only job was finding and then catching the snitch. He would just have to trust in his teammates to exact Slytherin's Revenge on the ones who downed one of their players. He had a job to do to ensure victory, and so he would continue scanning for the snitch.

I had hold of the quaffle again and as I raced toward the goal posts my teammates were out for blood. Emma swatted a bludger at Slytherins aggressive beater and it hit her. But none of her teammates were there to catch her. As the beater fell to the ground she felt a surge of guilt that she could not save her and that her team had the power to do such things. With all her might she focused back on the quaffle in her hand raced to the goal hoops. She threw it and..... HE BLOCKED IT!

Well you can’t always win or always score so it’s okay and he had a very nice block too.

Lavinia went back to focus mode and concentrated on the game as Slytherins keeper had the quaffle.

Emma flinched as if getting hit with her own bludger. Okay, so maybe that might have been a little overboard, but at least the game was made easier on Ravenclaw's behalf. Ouch... she mouthed silently to herself as she watched the Slytherin beater hit the ground. Even over the rain, she could hear curses being thrown at her, but chuckled and kept her eye on the game. That was for targeting her best friend.

Before she knew it, two chasers were on her sides. Thanks a lot, Alexx. Was it against the rules to hit a player with just her bat? A grin formed on her face after the foul was declared, bye bye. Emma kept her eyes on Lavinia and even though it missed, she was still amazed. Going on offense was incredibly fun.

Another bludger flew in her direction and with the swing of her bat, and she sent in flying to her opponents. This was going to take a while.

The bludger had resounded against her bat in a way that shook through her thin limbs. Even with the miss, it had been a rush to have gone on the offensive. Everything had gone so fast, they had all played one of their plans and it hadn't been a complete failure. She watched as Emma was nearly pinched, glad another player of theirs had saved her.

Fouls were called, and a player was sent to the ground and off their broom. Quidditch could be a violent game, she was just grateful to still be on her broom. Tightening her grip on it a little more, she flew through the air and focused herself on her next move. Find a bludger, launch it where it needs to be, she could only hope it would at the very least ensure a distraction if anything at all.

Alexx liked Emma, she really did. Emma was one of her closest friends. But when it came to Quidditch, the girl was relentless. She would stop at absolutely nothing to do what was best for her team. If that meant taking out a friend, then so be it. Even though Emma dropped down, avoiding what would have been a very memorable collision, Alexx was laughing. She was having the time of her life! There was nothing that she could even be mad about, because Ravenclaw hadn't scored. And when she looked over, Elijah had the Quaffle. Alexx knew what this meant.

However, there wasn't much she could do right now. Not taking the punishment for the foul would just fuck her up more, so she went ahead and flew the perimeter. Her eyes shot to Elena, and then to Ruby. She hoped that they would help Elijah, otherwise he would have to fend for himself, which, no offense to Elijah, would be scary for the team. Alexx huffed, bummed that she couldn't do as planned. But she would make a return.

So... They were still tied. Still, in Koko's mind, at 0-0. Koko gritted her teeth. Ugh. The rain was definitely getting annoying. It made Koko's hair stick like plaster to her porcelain skin, and it also made her broom exceedingly difficult to grasp. So why not hop onto someone else's broom?

Idiotic idea. That was what it was. But Koko was all for stupid ideas if they would work. She swerved her broom, going towards the nearest Chaser, and decided to get as close as possible. "Mind if I hop on for a certain strategy?" she asked, her golden eyes glinting.

Elena could see the strategy unfolding, and was hanging around planning her own next move, Alexx had been fouled for the blatching, that meant that if he was still around, @Geoffrey Ryan was in. Ruby was headed to get the quaffle from Elijah, and that left Elena with the choice of taking the chaser job left behind by Alexx or joining Koko on her own mission.

Elena grinned, "A certain strategy? You know how I love a cunning plan, get on Koko, let's see what fun we can do here."

Ravenclaw wouldn't even know what hit them, Elena thought to herself.

As Arc flew through the Quidditch field, he would see Lavinia flew from the other side. She was closer and they roughly had the same speed, so theoretically she would arrived and grabbed the quaffle first. But the boy wouldn't take any chances. Lavinia could be attacked mid-flight or somebody might suddenly swoop in, so he kept at it. Nothing of the sorts happened, though. Nobody attacked and none of the other team's chaser aimed for the quaffle. Huh.

Lavinia got the quaffle as Arc had predicted and she tried to score once again. Unfortunately, Elijah would promptly catch the quaffle with his whole body. Hm... Now, what would the other boy do? He could bring the ball on his own or passed it to another. Arc looked towards his captain and she was already making a sign for the next move. Alright. Great minds did think alike.

He had to admit, after that last dismal attempt, Elijah just sort of assumed that he sucked at this whole Quidditch thing. Maybe Celestine had gone easy on him when she used to play Quidditch with him in their backyard, and- He saw the Quaffle out of the corner of his eye, and gritting his teeth, he immediately flew towards the Quaffle.

With a quiet, "Oomph," Elijah felt his fingers curl around the curved surface of the Quaffle, and his eyes widened as he realized both the literal and metaphysical weight of what he was holding. Why did he want to do this, again? Searching the field frantically with his eyes, his heart dropped into his stomach as he realized that Alexx had to take a penalty. Now he only had two options! Biting the corner of his lip, his eyes darted to the other Chasers on his team, as well as the other team's Beaters.

Crap, what was he supposed to do? Offering a quick prayer up to whoever was listening up there, he took a deep breath and shifted the Quaffle into one of his hands.
