History/Background Story: Lucas is a short 11-year-old boy. His skin is rather pale, his long, wild hair is a light brown, and his eyes are a much darker brown.

Born 2 years after his older sister Rose, his parents are Muggles. Liam Strait, who worked as an ornithologist, and Hailey Strait, who works as a cook. Lucas either hung out with Rose and her friends, or alone, due to the fact he had a hard time talking to people. He didn't mind being alone, but it did get...lonely. He did find comfort in his cat, and ended up becoming a lover of animals, like his sister.

Lucas's first experience with magic came when Rose and her friends were having a sleepover when he was 8. They were having a pillow fight, and the battle ended up coming into his room. He didn't mind, but he was a little nervous around all the noise, so he ended up going over to his window. Problem came when they accidentally knocked into him, causing Lucas to plummet down to the ground. All the girls were shocked, and after a bunch of panic and crying, they found him on the ground, shaking badly...but once they came over to him, they found he was completely unharmed. He claimed that he had bounced off the ground, and one of Liam's friends who lived nearby, Marcus Rosenbaum, said it was magic. After some explaining, Liam was now officially a wizard. While he was terrified, his parents, and especially Rose, were excited for him. When he got his letter, Rose was a little jealous that she couldn't go, but she was happy for him.

Right now in Hogwarts, Lucas is having a difficult time. There's really too many people for him to be comfortable. But he's still excited to be a part of this new experience.
