Dear Mum and Dad,
Hello! This is my first time writing a letter to anyone, but Christopher was nice enough to help me. Which is awesome since we're in the same house! That's right, I was sorted into Gryffindor! Meaning Thom is the only one who's a loser Ravenclaw (no offense dad XOXO).
Classes haven't gotten really serious yet, but I can already tell I'm going to love this. I also made a friend already! Her name's Primrose Edwards. A fancy one she is. I met her and her cousin on the express ride to Hogwarts! Her cousin is named Louis and he's kinda a jerk. Him and Leonard are close it seems though. But Primrose is much nicer! She's super smart and pretty! She also got sorted into Hufflepuff herself. Which is sad cause that means I won't get to see her as much! But I'm confident in my ability to make more than one friend so I'm not worried.
Christopher has been doing great too! I don't think he plans on lettering you guys, so I'm telling you for him. He's unsure if he wants to continue Quidditch, and I tried my best to convince him to do it! Leonard on the other hand has been a real bother! He got detention on our first day for dungbombing a pair of twins! I would say that Louis character has been a bad influence on him, but I have to believe it's the other way around. They do seem very close though. I hope I can find a friend like that!
Anyway, how have you two been? Leonard was saying that you two would die from missing up so much, but I don't believe that. Maybe it was a joke come to think of it. Oh well! I have the strongest parents in the world. I know they won't die from a broken heart!

Dear Mom and Dad,
Hello again! Sorry for writing again so late. Christopher got annoyed with me constantly asking him for help so he told me to wait a month between letters. I personally think that's unreasonable but whatever. I did read your guys' letter so don't fear! I'm so happy you two are okay, but please don't worry so much! I promise I'm fine, gosh. Classes have started to get a bit harder, but I'm still doing fine there. It's so exciting to learn new charms and spells! Not so much with potions and history. I'm pretty terrible at those I will admit. I do try! Everything just flies over my head though! I've even tried studying! But every time I enter the library I just get lost and distracted. Maybe I'm just not cut out to be a history buff.
I have gotten really into magical creatures, though! I friend of mine let me read one of her books about them, and they seem so cool! Maybe in the future I'll go into that. Only if becoming a master witch like mum doesn't work out. Which I can't see happening as I am the best after all. Even if Leonard tells me he got much further in spell studies at my age, I'll keep on going! By the way, only because you asked, dad, I've been doing my best to stay out of trouble. Nothing bad has happened yet, so we're all good yeah!
Anyways that's all I have for this letter. Not a whole lot has happened so far, but I know things will definitely pick up from here. Sorry if things seem ramblely, too! I'm just so giddy to be able to talk about this stuff with you guys!
