Dare to Duel?
Rhea figured she could get in some extra practice before her practical D.A.D.A exam. So she traveled to the Dueling Room (which she'd only recently heard about), and hoped to find an opponent there. Before she left, she remembered to take her D.A.D.A book with her. She put on her robes but left her tie undone around her neck, and managed to tie her hair into a ponytail to get it out of her face she began to move around more.
She opened the door to the Duelling Club Room and prepared to introduce herself when she saw that...the room was completely empty. There was no one in it, bar from a few dummies that were probably there for individual practice. Rhea sighed at the prospect of not having anyone to practice with, and walked closer to dummy. She picked one near the edge of the wall, and retrieved her book. She read through some of the spells and decided to focus on a spell that she could use to play a prank against Puppet (as there was going to be a legendary prank war eventually.) She flipped through the pages of the book until she found the perfect spell.
Furnunculus: a spell that would cover the target in boils or pimples. Rhea smirked as she envisioned how angry Puppet would get. She got her wand out and reviewed the proper wand motions, practicing in the air before saying the actual words. When she finally thought she got it, Rhea opened her mouth and moved her wrist with correct precision.
"Fer-NUN-cu-lus!" Rhea made sure to put the accent on the correct part of the word, otherwise she didn't know what would happen. Just as Rhea cast the spell, the door opened.

Dare to Duel?
Horace was moving around now really bored trying to find something interesting. As he going down the hallways he thought why not go to the dueling room and see if anyone is up for a challenge he would love to test his skills which he was so proud of.
As he was moving to the room he heard someone in there maybe practicing spells. When he opened the door to greet the fellow student suddenly a flash came out of nowhere and he then he was covered in pimples all over. 'Well at least he didn't get blown to pieces what else was he expecting entering the dueling room' He thought to himself as he smiled and went in to the cupboards where a lot of cures and potions are kept in case a duel gets too harsh. he picks up the Boil-cure potion and drinks it removing the effects.
Then he went to greet the one who did all this. "Hi I am Horace....Horace Vargas and you?" he said extending his arm in greeting. He may be smiling but that wasn't because he isn't angry but its because he has a different way of taking revenge. 'And what better way than to defeat her at a duel right?' he thought as he grinned.

Dare to Duel?
Rhea was distracted by the door opening and so lost her concentration, instead blasting the student who entered with the spell. She waited in anticipation to see if it would work (she really did have her priorities straight, didn't she?), and was ecstatic to see that it did. Her spell-casting skills were up to date. The student turned out to be who, judging by the color of tie, seemed to be in Ravenclaw. The boy went to the cupboards that were placed in the room and found anti-boil potion, drinking it. In a few moments all the signs of the boils were gone.
The boy walked over and introduced himself. "Hi I am Horace... Horace Vargas and you?" Rhea was startled when she heard his last name. Vargas... Vargas... Where have I heard the name Vargas before?
Rhea pushed the thought to the back of her mind and instead focused on the grinning boy with a mischievous sparkle in his eye. She shook his hand.
"My name's Rhea... Rhea Bishop," she introduced herself, smirking. Gosh, if I don't figure out where I've heard this name before I'm going to go nuts! "I have a strong feeling I've heard your name before... But I can't seem to figure our why."
She tilted her head quizzically and hoped that she would get a clear answer that her mind would be satisfied with.

Dare to Duel?
"My name's Rhea... Rhea Bishop," the girl replied. Horace being the witty ravenclaw he is immediately remembered the name the Bishop's were his parents friends and although he never saw rhea before he heard about her from his parents. But her tie suggests that she's in gryffindor but that can't be her whole family was made of pureblood Slytherins but then again his family was also the same but he became a ravenclaw unlike his family's tradition.
Rhea then asked about his name and told him she didn't quite remember where she heard of it."Our family's know each other i have met your parents before you must remember my father he is in the ministry" he said with a grin. He was happy to meet someone who was like him at least somewhat apart from the fact that she is in gryffindor and so probably didn't share his interest in books.
But he has heard some rather nasty things about the bishops its not like his family was not considered evil after all they had their fun during the Dark times when 'HE' was roaming free but since then his family has changed they may still have pride on their riches and their pureblood status but they no longer hate muggles unlike the Bishops who seem to be waiting for those times to return. But he was pretty sure rhea wasn't like them as she was sorted in gryffindor and Horace trusted the judgement of the sorting hat.

Dare to Duel?
Juliana was walking down the corridor trying to find the room Rhea told her to go to... She saw an open door and caught a redheaded person. Juliana quickly rushed into the room. And yup, there she was but she was not alone. There was another person, by looking at his tie and appearance he seemed to be a ravenclaw. "Hi fellow ravenclaw! Call me Puppet. Oh and hi um... Uh... R-... Oh right! Rhea!" Juliana said putting herself into the conversation. "Hmm... You two look like you know each other!" Juliana smiled mischievously. "Oh! Why did you never tell me? You two are dating? Oh no! Am I enturrupting your date?" Juliana said acting like she was Rheas best friend. Juliana tried her best to not laugh, it was quite obvious that they weren't daring but might as well comment on them since she felt like it. "Um... I wanted to ask you Rhea, would you like to duel me? Maybe I should make it easy on you and I'll just use grade one spells. Hows that sound?" Juliana said but then her eyes fell on the D.A.D.A book. "Oh I guess you Dont need me to do just grade one spells... Where shall we duel? In this room? I would be fine with it."

Dare to Duel?
As soon as Rhea heard his explanation, the puzzle pieces in her brain clicked. Of course! The Vargas's were friends of her parents. Her parents gushed about their riches and success, and Rhea would always roll her eyes at their artificialness - even from a young age, Rhea knew that they only interacted with people in order to better their reputation.
Rhea tilted her head as she examined the boy. His entire family, like hers, must have been in Slytherin... yet he was in Ravenclaw. He was another child that had broken his family's tradition of all going into Slytherins. However, as he was in Ravenclaw, it meant that he was the studious and book-loving type - something Rhea wasn't really big on. She was more hands-on.
A commotion was heard in the entrance, and Rhea swiveled her head to see who it was. She smirked when she saw that it was Puppet, the girl she'd wanted to play the Boil prank on. Puppet walked up to her and Horace and started rambling in what Rhea now knew was her fake-nice voice. She acted as if she was Rhea's best friend, as if they'd known each and got along with each other all their lives. Rhea rolled her eyes when Puppet decided to tease Rhea but insinuating that her and Horace were dating - they'd just meant five minutes ago, not to mention they were still eleven. Rhea knew that she didn't even need to address that, because Rhea now knew Puppet well enough to know when she was being sincere about her question and when she was faking.
Then, Puppet proposed a duel. Between her and Rhea, and in the course of the proposing had underestimated Rhea. But then she looked at the open D.A.D.A book on the ground and changed her mind. "Oh I guess you don't need me to do just grade one spells... Where shall we duel? In this room? I would be fine with it."
Rhea shrugged, uncaring. She thought that she had enough prior knowledge to easily beat Puppet, and what with the extra practice she'd been getting, Rhea thought she had the cat in the bag. But then she looked at Horace, who had come in here probably looking for a duel. She looked at Puppet and furrowed her eyebrows.
"We should do a three way duel, if that's even possible," Rhea suggested. She crossed her arms as she thought. "Wait, we could do a third one plays winner kind of thing to see who is the best dueler out of the three of us! So, who wants to duel first?"

Dare to Duel?
Juliana smiled at Rhea. She has accepted her request for a duel. Juliana stood there for a minute thinking about all of the spells she has masters, even some that are from grade four! She then smirked as she clenched her D.A.D.A book. "Oh. I see. Just because you have a DADA book does not mean you have a mastered them all. When it comes to spells and magic you can't learn from just reading a book." Juliana said. "But let's do a proper duel. You- ravenclaw guy. You will be her second and if you excuse me I will have to find my second. But I Dont think anyone is going to die today. Or perhaps we should duel first and then whoever joins next (can it be a guy? So its even) can duel with him and then the two left winners will duel. Does that sound nice?" Juliana dropped her bag on the floor. She took out her wand but not in an defensive way. "What do you think?" Juliana asked turning towards the guy. Juliana was in a good mood today. She never spilled her drawings or tripped at all the whole day! And now she was going to duel.

Dare to Duel?
As Horace was talking to rhea suddenly he heard someone come in and saw another gryffindor girl walk to them. Puppet ,as she introduced herself, seemed to be a good friend of Rhea although looking at the expressions Rhea may think otherwise.
She started taunting Rhea and also teased them that they were dating which was of course not the case. Puppet may be irritating and may be teasing them but Horace liked her sense of humor and let out a soft giggle making sure Rhea didn't hear it as she seemed rather annoyed from Puppet.
Puppet proposed to duel Rhea and as Horace was going to stand aside Rhea seemed to be confused as to what should he do in all this and how make everyone participate. "You don't need to worry about me I will just duel whoever wins among you two" He said with a smile he wasn't backing away or anything its just how his mind works he will wait and see how both of these girls fight and strategize before engaging them himself. He wanted to know their fighting style "Just start anytime now i am waiting" he said with a grin as he stood away looking at them.

Dare to Duel?
Lisabetta fiddled with her bags strap on her shoulder as she walked down the corridors towards the Dueling Club room. She had discovered that, while she was still receiving high marks in Defense Against the Dark Arts, it was still one of her harder classes. She had heard that, other than studying the books, she could get better practice at the Dueling Club. She was proud of herself that she did not get lost along the way, she was really getting used to this place and coming to think of it as a second home. Since arriving at Hogwarts she had really begun to come out of the shell she had been in almost her entire life. While she was away at school it was easy to forget all her responsibilities and family obligations, even forget about the fact that her future was pretty much already set for her. Here, only thing that mattered was classes and making friends, and that was more than enough for Lisabetta.
She entered the room, hoping to find it empty, yes she was coming out of her shell but she wasn't completely out yet. She was still a little bit held back and reserved, but she was trying. Instead of an empty room, she saw three other first year students, two female Gryffindors and one male Ravenclaw. She recognized the red head after close inspection, they had sat near each other at the sorting ceremony, but she couldn't quite remember her name.
Lisabetta went to one of the tables, placing her bag on top of it. They seemed like they were already in conversation and she didn't want to interrupt them. She opened her bag and got out her copy of The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection, opening it to the page she had marked from her last reading of the book. She had her wand in hand as she practiced the wand movements, wanting to perfect that before she tried to speak the spell.

Dare to Duel?
Reducio
I am sorry rhea and puppet i know i should have waited for you both to post but you are sleeping right now and i am too bored i will just duel Lisa you can catch up later :P
As Horace was standing there waiting for the girls to duel suddenly he heard someone come in. Upon closer inspection he saw her 'Another gryffindor girl what is this place gryffindor girl's dorm?' he thought to himself as he noticed the girl didn't come to join them instead she went on to practice her spells in another corner of the room.
Horace was quiet interested now as this kind of behavior was his usual tendency. "You guys decide duel among yourselves i will go and try to duel with her" Horace told the girls while he walked upto the girl and he was taken aback looking at her. She had blue eyes and she liked to practice spells and she isn't good at talking to others a female version of Horace thats what she was the only thing left was being a highborn pureblood.
He noticed the book on her table it was the same as his own 'The Dark Forces : A guide to self protection' he was being a bit confused now was he hit by some kind of a gemino curse and he didn't remember now. "Practice spells huh? how about a duel it will teach you more than waving your wand in air" he said with a soft giggle but he still had the white face of astonishment. "By the way I am Horace....Horace Vargus and you?" he greeted her.
