Continuation of The Scarecrow Situation

In the morning the sound of students and professors can be heard bustling down into the great hall for morning tea, still quite chilly most seem to hurry down quickly for warmth, the cool smell coming off from the stone walls of the castle was enough to set anyone's mind at ease. Along the corridors, we come across to the Hospital Wing, a rather dull room to say the least where several students lay in the beds, speaking in whispers or groaning from whatever pain caused them to make a trip, the sounds of the nurse hushing the louder children for disturbing the other patients were frequent as the acoustics in this room made it quite echoey.
The lighting in the room was rather dim which stands to reason why a person like Alan felt it was a dull place to be in. Having just escaped his little trip to the Owlery, the poor lad sat in the bouncy rickety bed staring at the hospital robes he was given, his tattered school uniform was handed to the nurse to be patched and fixed for the day.
Still shaken from today's events earlier on the boy couldn't help but shiver in place, lying back down onto the soft bed, the boy raises his hands to stare at his fingers, although the nurse was quick to close peck marks that were bleeding it still left a mark on his skin, shaking his head he said to himself as the nurse came to check up on Alan "I...I...I just wa...wanted t....to send a letter to...m..my N...N...Nan...I don't like Owls now...e...especially snowy owls..a...l..l..little gits"This caused the nurse to smirk as she speaks the young boy "Still pretty shaken...it happens Alan was it? all you need is bed rest and you'll be out in no time"She moves in close to look at his hands, noticing his face was clear of any cuts from the dittany she rubbed on him "Seems the markings are all gone...I'd think you can go back to the dorms later today"
Alan shook his head the shivering hasn't stopped since he left the Owlery as he looked up into the nurse's eyes desperately "I...I...do...don't thin...think I ...I want to lea..leave t..this bed yet..w..what if a...an owl c...c..comes to finish the job?"The boy was clearly stressed and the nurse seemed to sympathize as she blinked and patted the young lad's shoulder "Alright Mr. Noble, one night ok? but I need you out tomorrow...other students get sick too, you know?" She smiled before leaving to tend to the other sick children with a sudden loud hush at students running past the Hospital Wing "No running! the patients are trying to rest! 5 points from each of your houses if I see you do it again!"
Alan lay down staring up into the ceiling once more reflecting on today's events pondering that this wasn't the worst day ever, remembering the times he was picked on back in elementary school as he said in his mind "Le..least I g..got to meet ne...new people...maybe should ap...apologise to them p...p..properly...a..and it wasn't the o..other kids...p..picking on me at least b..b..bloody birds" of course though he was one to voice his thoughts so anyone nearby could hear him

While the Ravenclaw boy and girl were rushed to the Hospital Wing, Millie had needed to do a few things. And one of those things included letting Honey, her Siberian cat, eat and drink some nice cold water. Honey always took her time, and it was still early in the day. She could visit the two later.
A new question perking in her mind was that simple; should she bring Honey along on the trip? Normally, Honey would stay in the Gryffindor Girls Dormitory, but Millie felt like she had such a big part in keeping Millie and her companions safe. But those pesky owls were just so mean! What happened to them, anyway? While it would be considered rude to ask, she didn't really any safe morals to go by. Answers were important.
So after a few hours of waiting on Honey to finish eating and relaxing, just as the clock was dawning on the higher numbers, Millie scooped up her cat, and headed down the staircases and hallways of Hogwarts.
Hogwarts was such a giant castle, it took Millie a couple of minutes just to get down to the lower floors. The Gryffindor tower was so high up, but luckily, the Hospital wasn't too far away. And, Honey was behaving all too well, and not scratching or biting her mother. That being said she also was purring. Did the cat think that this was approval for her great behavior at the Owlery? Millie hoped so.
She peered into the Hospital wing, and saw the owl-totem-pole Ravenclaw boy sitting on a bed not too far away from the doorway. Looking in more, she saw the red-head Ravenclaw girl laying on a bed, slightly farther away. However, Millie wasn't sure if the girl was still passed out.
Stepping into the light of the Hospital, she began walking towards the owl boy. Honey suddenly had the urge to leap out of her arms, and dash towards him. A soft giggle erupted from Millie's throat at the cats actions.
"She's expecting praise for what she did. Just pet her a little bit." She seemed to know her cat all too well. Honey took no notice of her owners words, and nudged the boy with her small, fluffy head.
"How are you feeling? Is she-" Millie pointed to the red-head Ravenclaw. "Is she doing any better?"

River’s eyes were closed. Was she awake? Perhaps, but for some reason, her eyes just didn’t feel like opening just yet. Her eyelids were too heavy, like they were being pulled down by some invisible string.| @Euphrasia Millie | @Alan Noble |
She could hear the voices of the other students, she knew where she was. The hospital, was it clear to her why she was there? River assumed something grand happened after the owl attack, though, she couldn’t remember much.
River started attempting to push her eyes open. It wasn’t an easy task, like it usually was though. Oh come on, staying here will be such a waste of time! She thought to herself, as a few rays of light finally reaced her eyes. Not the brightest light in the world, but she appreciated that.
The infirmary. Probably the one place River had on her list of places not to visit, apparently that was scratched. She could even notice the familiar hospital smell here, it wasn’t as strong as in muggle hospitals, but still noticable
She could hear the nurse wandering around, checking up on patients, and hushing those who ran around and had no real reason to be there. I want to get out of here as soon as possible...
The young girl stared to the selling for a little, trying to come across what happened in the owlery. She remembered lots of owls, and a little blood. Oh, and that boy, who had in some way managed to start that entire event. The owl-boy, River would remember him as. I wonder how he’s doing. As if on cue, River could hear the slight sound of familiar voices a little over the room. She turned her head slowly over to see where they were. River’s face grimaced slightly from the pain of her head, but she managed to spot them.
It was the owl-boy and the girl who had helped out. Her cat was there too, Honey, that was her name, River remembered that. That cat is the real hero here.
River raised a pale-skinned hand in attempt of sending them a weak wave. «Ya good over there?», she weakly called out to them, making sure she didn’t bother the other patients too much.

After the brutal massacre at Talon Fortress, the name he had begun to call that terrible Owlery, he knew he was in too deep not to check on the poor boy who had gotten mobbed, and River for that matter.@River Dewlight | mention @Alan Noble | @Euphrasia Millie
He was noticeably more twitchy than usual after Potions class later that day, itching to dash out of the dungeon as soon as possible and run his way up to the infirmary. The second that Nagal's beady stare lifted off of his frame, the boy was off like a bullet, telltale bag thrown over his shoulder and legs blurring with speed.
He shoved past a couple of giggling third-years, earning a few shouts at his carelessness, but ignored them. Moving up several flights of steps, he soon began to feel a little out-of-breath, but pressed on. Fortunately, none of the students Isaac pushed out of the way decided to come after him, otherwise, he probably would have been taking a trip to the infirmary himself.
Bursting into the quiet room, he skidded inside. His eyes immediately scanned the rows of beds, until a spark shone on his face - there he was! And River was there too!
He could recognize the Ravenclaw's halo of fiery hair from a mile away, and the other Ravenclaw's cheered expression. Millie had already come to check up on him, obvious from the way her cat, Honey, made herself comfortable on the boy's bed. He looked much better than before for sure. All of the bleeding had stopped by now, leaving only the cuts from the owls' pecks.
That cat's a lifesaver.
Isaac went over to River first, seeing that the other boy seemed busy. She wasn't half as faint as before, but he was still concerned that she could pass out again. There was a heaviness to her eyelids and a weakness in her voice that hinted she was still unwell.
"Hey, you okay?" he asked her, looking over her pale, strained features.

Staring absentmindedly at the window in front of him, Alan continued to reflect on today's events pondering the thought if things will get better from here on in, with a constant shift of his head from side to side at the fear of another owl attack, feeling the soft cheeks of a cat kneading against his fingers and licking causing the young lad to jolt in place with a sudden quiet yelp. The Ravenclaw boy eyes widen he recognised this cat as the one who came to his aid earlier on, taking his palm he pets the feline on the head and stroked its spine, watching Honey shake and purr into him. Alan couldn't help himself but offer a warm smile as he replied nervously "H..h..hello a...again...T...thank you for helping me out...y...you're a brave cat you know..."
Alans gaze shifted upon to Millie as he maintained the pleasant smile and said to the Gryffindor girl "I...I'm ok t...the nurse quickly looked ov...over me and ha...had me patched u...up in no time...u...used some dittany for m..m...my fingers" He raised his hand indicating the absence of claw marks and pecking wounds. Looking back down on Honey he asked "W...what's this l..li...little guys name?" before Millie could respond he heard the voice of the neighbouring Ravenclaw lass on the bed next to his, with a grin he responds once more "I'd be worse i...if it wasn't for you people...s...sorry f...for getting you all in..into my c...crazy s...situation heh"A sudden thought occurred to Alan as he stopped short midsentence realising River was awake "Oh! just r...remembered t...the nurse came t...to look at you earlier s...should be ab...able to leave later when you're ready she said b...but is w...willing t...to keep you in..f..for the night s...should you s...still feel unwell" the boy continued to ramble on cheerfully nervous as he aimlessly stroked Honeys chin.
Seeing Issac walk into the room and move over towards River, Alan waves at him before looking back to Millie as many thoughts seem to be going in his head as the boy rambled once more "S...so...w..what's his name...o...o..oh sorry...m...my name is Alan...I...I'm n...not so good at introductions" The young lad responded with an anxious laugh, the boy never usually doing too well in small groups like this found himself being able to relax given the current situation and was actually pretty ecstatic to see people visit him, evidenced by the contagious smile that refused to go away.

"W...what's this l..li...little guys name?"
Just as Millie opened her mouth to speak, the red-head Ravenclaw called something, but Millie wasn't listening, her finger gliding over Honey's silky fur. Then, like magic, the Hospital Wing door opened, and in stepped Isaac, the other Gryffindor boy. However, he walked over to River, so Millie simply turned away.
Taking in the view of Honey, next to the Ravenclaw boy, the cat seemed to have grown about fourty pounds, though it was quite an exageration. The cat was only about fifteen pounds (6 kilo) and pretty tall. She was just like all other Siberian cats. And honestly, she looked more like a male cat. Tall and more lean than most other breeds.
Maybe Millie should get a career in animals- the kind Muggles have. If she even got in a 400-ft radius of a dragon, hippogriff, or anything else magical-related, she'd probably cry. Either from horror, or exhaust.
"S...so...w..what's his name...o...o..oh sorry...m...my name is Alan...I...I'm n...not so good at introductions"
The question from the boy made Millie jump ever-so-slightly. Shaking her thoughts away, she placed a kiss on Honey's soft forehead.
"Her name is Honey. I'm Euphrasia, but I prefer Millie." Millie smiled politely and began petting Honey once more.
"I got her name from a muggle song, Sugar Sugar. It was a song my mom used to love playing, I think to just annoy my dad. Not sure, though." Memories of her family hugged Millie's mind like a burrito.

River laid there, looking up at the celling above. She’d started figuring out that something definitely must have hit her head during the previous incident. Why else would it be hurting like this? She looked back over to the girl and the owl-boy. They were sitting and taking care of Honey. The boy seemed to be in a way better state now then the last time she saw him. Back in the owlery, things really got out of controll.Interaction | @Isaac Ambrose |

As she was watching the cat enjoy some cuddles, River heard the door open up. She looked over to see who had gotten hurt this time. Isaac? He seemed to be in a fine state, why is he here?
Her question was answered as he came over to her bedside, she hadn’t really expected anyone to come visit her at all. It was nice to see both the girl and Isaac coming by.
"Hey, you okay?", he asked as he approaced.
«What, me? Oh, yeah I’m feeling totaly great», she answered, sat right up in her bed, and procceeded to stand up. She didn’t want to seem weak, because she wasn’t weak. «I’ll be outta here in no time!», she said quickly, and smiled to the nurse, who from across the room, gave her a stern look in return.
Her vision suddenly spun around, and before long, she was back on the bed. »I... Just have to sit down a bit first», she said, trying not to sway, fall over and land on the floor instead of the bed. Ugh, this sucks, she thought, and let out a sigh of defeat.
«How, uhm, how are you doing? You know, after all the chaos and everything?», she asked and looked up at Isaac, with a curious look on her face. «Were we really the only two who needed to go to the infirmary?», she added, and nodded her head in direction of the other boy.

Seeing as both River and Issac were busy minglings with each other, Alans attention was completely drawn towards Honey the cat, loving the softness of its fur as he continued to stroke the felines spine gently with his palm wishing he had some treats for the little guy. The Ravenclaw boy hesitated at the thought of giving food to another animal, his face went pale for a moment as he muttered to himself "I d..d..do not want a rep...repeat i...incident of...how I got here" nodding to himself and shaking his head.
Alan tilted his head slightly to look upon the Gryffindor girl Millie kiss her furry companion's forehead offering the lass an anxious smile, and watching thenuzzle its face against her owner's skin he finally spoke up sounding less nervous than before evidence by the lesser amount of stuttering "W...well pleased to meet you bo...both" Looking down on Honeys face as he stroked her chin "Now I know the name of our little hero...l..looks li...like I owe you a treat later what do you think Millie? an a..a..also pleasure to mee...meet you" thinking about Honeys name the joke suddenly dawned on him as he snickered lightly "O...oh I know that song...m..my N...Nan loves b...baking to that song..e..every time I visit"
Whilst Millie was reminiscing about her Family, Alan thought to himself and remembered the Nurse left the lad a small bar of chocolate still in its wrapper quickly opening it up he pulled a couple of blocks and offered the snack to Millie "W..w..want some b...by the way? i..it's the muggle k... kind don't need to w..worry about a weird flavour" He looked towards both River and Issac not wanting to leave those two out either "D...d..do you two want some too...I...I mean it's not much b...but a small thank you to a...all of you heh"

River...wasn't as fine as she let off. The second that the redhead stumbled to her feet, he could see a brief flash of panic in her eyes, and the wobbling of her legs before she sat down. She told him airily that she would be okay soon, and he could almost feel himself about to retort. But he didn't want to press her over it. What mattered was that she was already in the infirmary, and he was sure that with the nurse's care, the Ravenclaw would be healed in no time.@River Dewlight | mention @Euphrasia Millie | @Alan Noble
He gave her a slightly crafty look, devious grin pulling at his features. "Well, it's been going good. The owls won't bother us again, that's for sure. And anyway, I didn't want to go to the infirmary.."«How, uhm, how are you doing? You know, after all the chaos and everything?», she asked and looked up at Isaac, with a curious look on her face. «Were we really the only two who needed to go to the infirmary?»
He rolled up his right sleeve to his elbow, smiling as soon as he saw the blemish on his skin. It was a curved crimson scar, no doubt a bite from one of the owls. Anyone else would probably rush to get it fixed, but he thought it was absolutely cool, and wanted to keep it. Now he could tell exaggerated stories about the owl attack, and make it out to be a savage battle.
"And Millie looks like she's okay," he noted, looking over at the said dark-haired girl as she spoke with Alan. Honey was settled by the boy, purring loudly. "So yeah, I guess it's just the two of you who got banged up."
He paused suddenly, looking aghast. Immediately, the boy went to carding through his robe and trouser pockets, face growing more and more crestfallen as the seconds passed. "My letter's gone though. Those bloody owls stole it."
Owls are just no good feathered rats, he thought spitefully, seeing the eyes of the Barred Owl in his head. It had taken him an hour to decide what he wanted to say in that letter, and how to phrase it so that his family wouldn't grow upset after reading it. But now, an hour of work was thrown away, crumpled in some random owl's beak.
He figured that the others must've written letters too, and might've even lost them the same way.
"Do you still have yours?" he asked River.
It was then that his attention was distracted by Alan pulling out something. It was chocolate! All of his previous thoughts about letters fled from his head.
Like a crow drawn by something shiny, he gave a considering look to the chocolate bar. Casually, he walked over as if it didn't mean anything, and said an enthusiastic, "Sure, thanks!""D...d..do you two want some too...I...I mean it's not much b...but a small thank you to a...all of you heh."
Quickly, he snapped off a small square of chocolate, holding it carefully in his left hand. But then, he thought about it and realized River might want some too, and likely couldn't get up without falling over. So he snapped off another piece for her.
Running back over to her bed, he offered her the other piece. "Here."

River clenched her eyes shut for a moment, trying to get the room to stop spinning. It slowly came to a halt, as Isaac answered her previous question, "Well, it's been going good. The owls won't bother us again, that's for sure. And anyway, I didn't want to go to the infirmary..", it was nice, hearing that Isaac was good after the incident. It’s not like I was given much of a choice to go or not, «This sucks... That I’m having to stay here», she said, with an annoyed untertone in her voice. She looked around at all the beds, and at the students laying in them. «It smells funny here», she added coldly, as her nose scrunched up.Interaction | @Isaac Ambrose |

River eyed the blemish on Isaac’s arm. It didn’t really look too good. He probably should have gotten that checked up though...
River was a bit of a control freak at times. Especially when it comes to where she needs to be, what she’s doing and how she’s doing it. So not having controll over needing to stay in bed, made her insides burn slightly, and her eyes turned slightly more black, bit by bit.
She felt very much out of place amongst all these ill and weak people. Perhaps it was for the best, this one time?
River’s eyes landed on Isaac, who seemed to be having a bit of a crisis. «Are... Are you alright?», River asked, and looked confused at him rummaging through his pockets.
"My letter's gone though. Those bloody owls stole it.", He said, his face looking quite bummed.
"Do you still have yours?".
River quickly put her hand in her pockets, no letter, she turned to check on the bedside table, No letter...
«It doesn’t seem like it... It’s fine though», she answered him slowly. «Perhaps fate is telling me to stop sending those bloody letters at all», she added sarcastically, shaking her head slightly. They’re just a waste of time anyway.
River turned to look after the others. As she heard them call something out. She didn’t catch what though. She turned to ask Isaac what it was, but before she’d opened her mouth, he walked off.
Isaac came back, holding a piece of, what looked like, chocolate? He reached out a hand, "Here."
River eyed him carefully, «Thank you», she said, gave him a slight smile, and slowly took the piece out of his hand.
River turned and smiled to the two others, and nodded as a little ‘thank you’.
«I hope there’s nothing funky about this chocolate», she said, and looked suspiciously down at the piece in her hand. She was never one who easily trusted that people gave tings away just to be nice. This guy seemed to be one of those nice, sharing people though.
«So what have you been up to in the meantime then, if you don’t mind me sticking my nose up in your stuff?», she asked Isaac, and took a small bite out of her chocolate.
