Thoughts
Done for the day, or at least the study part of the day was done. Jamie had finished all the homework she'd gotten so far, although with it being so close to the beginning of the year it wasn't much, and had practised the few spells they'd learnt so far and gotten them all to the point where she could cast them every time without fail. This mostly due to the fact that she'd spend yesterday relentlessly practising the one she couldn't quite get until she did get it, but that's besides the point.
Looking outside she saw how great the weather was, sun with a few clouds, a nice breeze and no rain, and decided to go outside and explore the quidditch place to practice her flying. She'd learnt how to do it from her father and had gotten quite good before going to school so she didn't want to lose her skill by not practising it.
Grabbing her broom on the way out she made her way to the pitch, wondering if there would be anyone else going today and if she could maybe get some practise with someone else in, which would always be appreciated as she could work on her weaknesses and practise even better.
Unfortunately she didn't see anyone else once she had gotten to the pitch, wondering why though due to the nice weather. Deciding not to dwell on it she strode out to the middle of the pitch and hopped on her broom, going up into the sky and warming up with a few simple drills.

@Mylo AtkinsÉlodie was proud to say that she had stayed on top of all the work she'd been assigned. The young girl was not planning to have a run-in with stress during her first few weeks of school at Beauxbatons.
It was a lovely day. The sun shone brightly, a few clouds were scattered around the blue sky, and the trees and Élodie's blonde hair were rustled gently by a cool breeze. Ever since she woke up and saw the weather, Élodie had been dying to get out on her broomstick and practice finding the small, quick, uniquely irritating, Golden Snitch.
As classes ended for the day, Élodie quickly headed back to her dorm, changing into some more athletic clothes, tying her hair up and out of her face, and grabbing her broom before making the lovely and gorgeous walk to the Quidditch Pitch.
Upon her arrival, Élodie was rather shocked to see that there was only one other person there. She would've thought that on a nice day like this, more people would be out for a fly. With a small smile, Élodie set down her broom and found a crate that held the quaffle, bludgers, and snitch. She opened it, quickly snatching the snitch and moving back towards her broom.
After she had mounted her broom and had flown up in the air, Élodie released the snitch, closing her eyes and counting to five before beginning her search, attempting to stay out of the other girl's way.For extra information, find Élodie's ency in my signature or the Additional Information section of my profile.

Thoughts
She'd finished doing some warm-up drills, just a few laps around the pitch going at various speeds and then some quick turns once again at various speeds. She quite liked these drills, as they solidified her basics and made sure she didn't make any silly mistakes that could cost them the match.
Deciding to go on to do some other drills she saw another student enter the pitch and set up the snitch, A seeker, that's good she thought, wondering if the other student was going to join the team as well. Knowing that it's better to practice with 2 people than on your own Jamie decided to go up to her after the girl had found the snitch, doing a few extra drills in the meantime but keeping an eye on her.
"Hey! I saw you were practising as well, would you like to practise together? We might be able to help each other out. I'm Jamie by the way, going for the chaser position." Knowing that the other girl might not need to practise with another person Jamie flashed her best smile, it more often than not worked to help her get what she wanted, and this time she was pretty sure it would work in her favour again.
