Jovie was born on January 3rd, 2007 and raised in Ripley, England. She lives there with her parents, Cynthia and Peter Kern, and her younger brother and sister, Erin and Temperance. Her mother work as a Curse-Breaker and her father owns a Broom-Making Company. Jovie is distant from her parents, since her mother is off traveling for business and her father is away at work, making sure his products are of top quality. She and her siblings are often away living with their family members but Jovie is the quiet one, always watching but not saying much. She gets this silent trait from her grandmother, someone who she was very close. Unfortunately her grandmother passed away not long ago but the mark she left on Jovie continues to grow, making her grow into the clever, observant, and curious girl she is today. While her mother got into Gryffindor and her father in Hufflepuff, Jovie is glad she was sorted into Ravenclaw.

Jovie was really fun and sweet as a baby, she rarely cried, she likes crawling around and exploring, she was fearless. The world was her playground, she wanted nothing more but to know everything inside and out, always asking why and why not, she didn't care how annoyed anyone was, though everyone loved her so much that they could stay angry long enough.
