In this round, it was surprisingly positive for Hades. And for his team. The boy managed to perform the shield charm that prevented Rose and Kim’s two spells from becoming useless because of the protective spell, on the contrary, the boy realized that Elsa was having problems, worth a mocking smile drawn on his face with a certain air of sufficiency and pride.
The girl named Bridget had to stop the duel because Kim had been defeated and needed to be removed. Hades remained imperturbable, arms folded and his gaze following Kim. Hades had nothing to say, there was a duel to go on and he had to make sure Hufflepuff won this duel. He noticed that Damion wasn’t there, encouraging him like he used to.

Nicky frowned slightly when Kim was carried away. Obviously, that wasn't too good for the team. However, she wasn't going to let that bring her down. Giving up wasn't her thing. She was still going to keep going and together with Rose they'd rock this duel and win it.

Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff: Match 4
All three Gryffindors cast at Hades- he was so close to being taken out, so it was a pretty obvious move for the three lions. Rose was sure they would have hit, too, had he not conjured a shield to block all three spells. Rose growled, knowing how close they were, and then watched as Kim was hit with a nasty blasting curse from Lea. That was the last straw for him, and he hit the ground. Rose winced, and was grateful the duel paused for a moment, because she didn't really think she'd ever get used to watching her teammates pass out in these duels.
Rose breathed in a shaky breath, and let it out, steadying herself and casting her gaze back over to the Hufflepuffs. They were at a disadvantage now, but they still had just as much of a chance as the Hufflepuffs. "Let's do this," she whispered, half to Nicky, half to herself.

The decision that had proven so elusive finally crystallised into action, and Julian pointed his wand at Hades, ending the spell that was sure to get his teammate eliminated. And not a moment too soon as all Gryffindors were still attempting to capitalise on the fact that he could barely move. Thankfully, Hades threw up quite the impressive shield and rebuffed the spells heading at him. Julian grinned at him.
"That was a great shield!"
Meanwhile, Lea finally finished what they'd been working at for the whole duel and eliminated Kim out of the match, to speak somewhat euphemistically. Julian took the pause in the match to catch his breath, careful not to look too hard at where the Gryffindor was lying prone. Maybe it was better, though, the Gryffindor had not been looking good - more like he should've been forcibly remanded to get some rest before the duel had even started.

 | ── | Kim's attack on Hades failed this time as it hit a shield and then he was out like a light. Blasting Curse. Yup, that would do it. Kim couldn't really focus too much anymore but the point of the matter was that Lea ended up hitting him with her well placed curse. And now he was blissfully unconscious. He didn't even feel it when they carried him off to the hospital wing to get looked at. Maybe by the time he woke up, things would be better. At least a little better if not fully better. But with him unconscious, the magical slug inside him couldn't make him do things, so that was a relief. Hopefully, his remaining two teammates would be able to take out the other two badgers. Or at least finish Hades off. If they couldn't at least do that one thing, it would look badly on the Lions. After all, Hades only had a small amount of health left. |

In the last moments of the duel, the absence of Kim was felt. Hufflepuff did not have long with their numbers advantage, but they certainly made the most of it. Lea wielded a wicked spread Flipendo, and even though she only landed one of them, it nailed Rose in the chest. Julian followed it up with a second Flipendo, even more brutal. Rose would be fighting to get air back into her lungs in the last minute of the duel. Hades, meanwhile, didn't try anything flashy, didn't push his fatigued body. He simply doused Julian in warm, healing light, helping his teammate stay strong through the end.
Gryffindor did their best to match. Rose's Flipendo was honestly phenomenal, a masterful demonstration of the first year spell, but she couldn't follow through with the most important part: actually hitting. Nicky decisively lit Julian on fire, but though it caught, Bridget would put it out moments later when the duel ended before it could do any damage.
The time ran out; Bridget called out, "Stop!" She stepped up on stage between the two teams, assessing their states. It had been much closer a few casts ago, but with their last efforts, they'd made it easier for her. "Hufflepuff wins! Well fought, all of you. Be sure to get checked by a healer before you leave."
