Nearly Empty
@Jude LumiereThe Hogwarts Express had just left Kings Cross station, and was now heading for Hogwarts. After saying goodbye to his parents and sister, Landon was now navigating the wagons in search of an empty compartment in which to make the journey. His older brother sat with his friends, leaving him alone.
He had almost reached the bottom of the train, but had not yet found an empty compartment. He was eager to make new friends, but he did not dare ask the other early years if he could sit with them. He was shy, and preferred to keep looking for a compartment. He finally found an empty compartment. He entered it and sat by the window, leaving his trunk beside him. He reflected, looking in the void, admiring the landscapes that marched outside. He wondered in which house he would be. He always dreamed of being a Huflepuff like his grandmother. Perhaps he would be a Slyterine like his father or a Ravenclaw like his mother. He came out of his thoughts by a voice asking if the seats were occupied
- no, there is no one, he replied to the girl who had taken him out of his thoughts.
He turned his head towards the entrance of the compartment and saw a young girl standing in front of him. She has long blond hair and brown eyes.

@Jude LumiereLandon watched the girl settle in front of him, without saying a word. He was happy, because he had the opportunity to make a new friend. But at the same time, he was stressed, he was afraid of ruining everything. He was unable to engage a conversation.
When he see the girl turn his head toward the window, and watching the scenery out, he recovered to watching the scenery. He hoped the girl would engage a conversation, to break the silence in the compartment.
To Landon’s delight, her neighbor ended up breaking the silence : she introduced himself. Her name is Jude, he thought it was a beautiful name.
- Nice to meet you, I'm Landon, I like your name, he replied, introducing himself.
He turned to her, and smiled at her. A wick had escaped from her low bun, and she was playing with it. He tried to find a subject of conversation. He thought he could ask her questions about her to get to know her, but he didn’t want to seem intrusive. Maybe she wanted to be alone, quiet, and that’s why she was sitting here. He started to panic, he did not know what to do. He wanted to hug Mr. Spark, but he was in his trunk, and he didn’t want to risk forgetting him on the train.

@Jude LumiereJude smiled at him and thanked him for the compliment, and Landon smiles back at him. Then she me asked him the house in which he thought to be.
- I think I’m going to be in hufflepuff . Because I’m not couragous, so I can’t be in Griffindor. And I’m not a Ravenclaw for sure. Maybe I’ll be Slyterine, even if I find the house Hufflepuff is better for me. And you, you think which house is better for you ?
Landon could hardly start a conversation, but when he started talking, he could not be stopped. He was talking way too much.
After he finished talking to jude, he spent the rest of the way alternating between reading and admiring the landscape outside. He was looking forward to the train arriving in Hogwarts, but he was a little scared too, especially since his family had told him that Hogwarts was huge. Fortunately, he could always ask for help from his brother, who was in 4th year. He hoped that he would be from the same house as him, so that they would meet in the common room or dormitories, and it would be easier for him to integrate into his new house.
