A long ride ahead PV Finished

Prim snuck two of the chocolate frogs into Kamryn's hand, showing her a 'sh' with her hands as she smiled.

"Oi now Tiny! I have you know Leandra Wolfe was askin' for it there."
''Leonard! She was telling you to be quiet which knowing Louis most likely was a valid bloody complain!'' Primrose whined, frowning but simply shaking her head and letting the manner disappear into Louis planning his next scheme on the poor girl and her brother. Those Wolfe siblings will never rest, ever.

''Yeah we have an Augurey permanently, saved little lad.'' She nodded looking up, as if looking at a list before her.
''Currently we have four Nifflers, a murtlap I think? Mum is caring for an Occamy and her eggs currently and it's suuper cute!'' One could see her face light up with every word leaving her mouth, Primrose truly lived for creatures. ''A demiguise or two as well in mums work space I'm sure, Some billywigs as well and uhh..pixies as well as Jobberknolls? Don't know what else, mum won't let me go into her like..magical enchanted shed thing as it's too dangerous apparently. A lot of ministry staff passes through there though!''

''You have never heard of aurors!?'' Primrose was surprised, as well as Louis who raised an eyebrow at the discovery. ''Right, so an Auror right? Dark Wizard catchers pretty much!''
She put her book on the table momentarily as she turned her entire body towards Kamryn.
''They track down and capture like suuper dangerous witches and wizards, and sometimes FIGHT them to keep people safe. They like- have to deal with werewolves I think too! In the states though they are like, magical cops pretty much! Here they are suuper intense!'' Primrose spoke, gesturing wildly as she did so.

Turing herself around, Kamryn put all her attention to Prim's jubilant explanation of Auros and the work they do. Smiling at the chocolate frogs given to her as she sneaks them into the pocket of her coat for later. Making sure they went into the one that still had the button to close.
The explanation of Auros was amazing to Kamryn. They seemed like just about the coolest things she's ever heard of. "So werewolves are real?! I've aways heard stories of 'em from me mum but I dinny know they 'ere real!" Kamryn was tossing air punches as she fought off the imaginary monsters.

"Oh Oh! My turn ta show ya some'in!" Kamryn grabbed Primrose's hand a shook it eagerly before hopping off her seat to grab something from the luggage placed across her on Leonard's lap. Making him have to look above and around it to see anything. From it she grabbed her wand. Burred under stacks of messily folded clothes and trunks all strapped together.

"Ey now what you plannin' tado wit that huh?"

"Just wanny show Prim it!"

"Kay just if anythin' explodes is all on you ya 'ere?

"Whatever Leonturd." Kamryn held the wand out in front of her and gave it a wave. Triumphantly, she jumped back onto her seat next Primrose.
"Look 'ere! Tis my very own wand see?" She gestured towards Primrose. "Dinknow what it's made of, but its real cool! Watch this!" Kamryn pointed the wand in front of her towards Leonard. Concentrating, her hands shaking. And before she knew it, a spark flew out of. Hitting their luggage and exploding the clothes all over Leonard.

"Christ all mighty! KAM" She shrunk in on herself as Leonard started yelling. The other two laughing their arses off.

Louis let out a loud laugh, holding his stomach as he leaned forward and plucked a sock from the railing above them.
''Holy hell Kamryn! You'll become a bloody legend if you end up in Gryffindor!'' He sent a smug look to Leonard. ''Maybe even more destructive than Leo?''

Primrose had gasped when the spell hit, the clothing flying everywhere as she sat stunned for a second. Eventually however, she started to giggle which turned into a proper loud laugh as she tried her best to contain herself.
''That was amazing Kamryn! Can't you do that to Louis sometime?'' She leaned onto her new friend, holding onto her arm as she laughed at the antics. ''My mum taught me how to fix stuff, like glasses! Though I had to read a whole lot to understand it''
The Reparo spell was quite useful these passing weeks, as Primrose had accidentally broken not only her Remembrall twice but also a glass window in her house when she was trying to catch a creature holding her school books. It had been quite chaotic in the Edwards household lately.
''Seriously Kamryn! That was awesome!'' She was convinced now for sure, that Kamryn would be an amazing witch. Sure maybe a little, rough around the edges and destructive but she could already see her friend would become quite the fierce one- unless she suddenly calmed down; which looking at the older brothers of her wasn't a huge possibility.
''Louis, pass me the berties please!'' The carton with Bertie Bott's beans were practically thrown at her as Louis grinned with glee, he knew what was happening.
''Kamryn, have you had Berties before?''

Now Primrose Edwards, was many things. Lucky was not really one of them, as she often fell and clumsily tripped over herself. Nine times out of ten the poor girl would get rotten eggs, earwax or vomit as she tried the colorful beans; but she hoped that this time it would change. That however didn't change Louis absolute glee for getting to see his baby cousin cough and gag at the disgusting taste in her mouth as she realized her mistake every time. It was his weekdays fun really.

Kamryn didn't know how to feel about what just happened. On one hand, it worked! On the other hand, Leonard seemed like he was just inches away from murdering her right then and there.
"You best pray to te lord above, girly cause pretty soon ye'll be seein' em!" Leonard got from his seat, fuming with rage. A couple of loose articles of clothing falling off as he did so.
Before he could step closer to Primrose and Kamryn, Leonard was pulled down into his seat with force. "Aye, come now Leo. Let the girl show off." Christopher choked out, being unable to keep from laughing.

Kamryn started to look to the other girl for approval. With any luck she didn't just scare her off. Her mouth was agape, slowly morphing in to a smile as Primrose latched on to her laughing. Forcing Kamryn into a fit of laughter along with her.

''My mum taught me how to fix stuff, like glasses! Though I had to read a whole lot to understand it''

"That be cool too! Me parents never bother teachin' me spells, so you just got a sneak peak of aboot all I can do." Kamryn gave a confident smirk. She was unaware of if the spell had a name, only knowing that it gets her in a lot of trouble. Sometimes she can control the little spark that comes out, but the majority of times the spark flies. Hitting something that results in a loud boom. She was more than content with the praise coming from Prim, though. About time someone recognized her coolness.

Her attention was shifted out of her own ego once the other girl let go. Catching the box tossed at her. "Berties? No can't say I 'ave." Kamryn was interested with them. Another new wizard thing? Though hesitant still, she caught wind of her brothers snickering with one another. Giggling like small a pack of hyenas.
"What you all laughin' boot?"
"Oi, nothin' Kam. You should give the Barties a try yeah!"
With that, Kamryn reached for the box. Taking a couple of the beans for herself. Leaving the rest for Prim. Then popping one in her mouth. She went silent for a moment, contorting her face to figure out whatever the taste was. "'Ey! These chocolate?! It taste good!"
Almost instantly after stating that, she ate the other one. This time spitting it out only seconds after biting in. "ACK! Prim these moldy or somethin'? That one tasted awful! Like rotten clam!"
Kamryn was patting her tongue with her robe, attempting to remove the flavour. The other Greer's hurling in on themselves laughing.

''Kam! You didn't let me finish explaining them'' Primrose pouted, like a child who got its toy taken away as she sat with the opened box. ''These are Bertie Bott's Beans in Every Flavor! There is a fifty, fifty change you'll get something good or bad. Like- uh take this one for example!'' She took up one of the beans, a small brown bean; a grin on her face as she handed Kamryn some water. Primrose had taken four bottles with her for the ride, it was like one night long so.
''This one- is either uhh Toffee or...Earwax.'' She scrunched her nose at the thought, looking at Louis excited face with a glare. ''With every flavor, they mean every flavor. You most likely got something like Liver, rotten eggs or dog-food.''

''How bout this Tiny, you eat one and I eat one- yeah?'' Louis piped up, getting to take a bean out of it- not really caring what in particular he chose. ''So you won't be so pouty''
''I'm not pouty Louis, you are just an arse!''
The cousins glared at each other, counting down as they both swallowed the beans, chewing rather quickly. It was almost trained, as if they did this every trip they went on. Which to be fair- they did, Louis and Primrose always bought one or two packets to have during long rides, it made things go by faster as they dreaded longer rides.
''Oh, bollocks.'' Louis stated with a gag. ''Vomit, really?'' Primrose was doing a lot better though, a grin on her face.
''Victory is mine dear cousin'' Prim looked back at Kamryn.
''I normally have bad luck with these, yeah? The chocolate frogs are like- just as bad to me. I have a hard time catching the buggers when they jump off. But I like the cards!'' She beamed, putting the box on the table.
''Are you doing alright, Kam? Do you want some other candy? Louis bought like- way too much.''
''Hey!''

"Damn, why would anyone make somethin' like that?!" Kamryn took her rode away from her mouth. Eagerly taking the water handed to her by Prim as admittedly all the Greer's were pretty parched. Having not bothered eating or drinking anything in their rush to get on the Express. Watching Primrose start for her own bean embarrassed Kamryn slightly. They were past first impressions, but that was not a great way to make someone think highly of you.
The way Primrose and Louis interacted with one another so freely dug a sting of jealousy into Kamryn. Those two, despite the constant bickering, seemed much closer to one another than Kam was with any of her brothers. She tries her best to get along with them, but most the time they shrug her off. Downsides of being born years later she guessed.

Paying little mind to Louis before he ate his Berite made the sudden gag from next to her ever more surprising. The look he made was gold. About time she got a turn to laugh at the older boys and not vice versa. "Do ya have any licorice wands? I 'ought loved those things when I was wee."
"Yea' you used to think they were real wands back then too" Thom spoke up for the first time since the clothes explosion. "Beside it ain't much nice to take candy from someone you just met, Kam."

"That's not true! I just liked 'em cause they were licorice! But yer right. No mind of the candy Prim." Kamryn pouted. hunching over with herself sat nearly at the edge of the seat. Inches from falling off.

''It's alright Thom, if Tiny eats it all she'll get bloody ridiculous. Once when she was high on sugar she tried to run up a wall. Twice.'' Primrose lowered her face at the mentioned accident, groaning in an embarrassed manner as she leaned onto the wall.
''Not fair Louis! It was ONE time and I was like- 6!'' She whined, covering her face with her hands.
Louis laughed at her reaction, standing up and getting one of their bags.
''My aunt packed enough for all of us, she overheard me whining over the phone about Leonard never bringing his own shite and whinin' about it.'' Louis sent the boy a glare, a playful one- throwing some of the clothes that had exploded up around the cart at him. And indeed, the bag itself was filled to the brim with the right setting. Her mum had taken inspiration from Newt Scamander or something clearly, the enchantment being a welcomed addition to the luggage. Twice the things would fit!

''Besides, when I was young I used to play with sticks and try to use the Imperius curse on Louis, so not that weird.''
''I swear, if you don't end up in Slytherin.'' The boy muttered, earning himself a pair of eyes feeling like daggers as he brought out his wand, flicking it slightly as Leonard's clothes started collecting themselves in the bag once more. Louis had always been good at magic, charms and dueling was his specialty for a reason.

''Have you given thought to your electives in third year? I'm going to pick Care for magical creatures and most likely Magical Theory or Ghoul studies.'' The latter were just Extra-curricular, but she found it interesting anyway. She enjoyed planning ahead, Hogwarts was one of the few things she actually controlled.

Kamryn attempted to stifle a chuckle in reaction to the other girl's antics. Seeing as it'd be somewhat hypocritical to laugh at someone for something she's by no means innocent of.
"O' fuck you too, mate." Leonard rolled his eyes. Looking up to face Louis while still trying to pick up the mess caused the Kamryn. She would've helped, but it was Louis. He's a tough nutt.

Once the clothes magically started to pick themselves up from the floor, Kamryn's eyes went wide. She's always loved charms and the like. Seeing them in action right in front of her was just added to the cool factor.
"Good to see 'at shite the professors been teachin' us come in handy for more than just duelin'. 'Eh Louis?" Leonard got up off the floor, moving aside the now full suit case that replaced him in his seat. Side eyeing Kamryn for her lack of integrity leaving him and Louis to all the cleaning of her mess.

"Aye, no I ain't thought much of me electives. Figure I got time so why stress o'er it now?" Kamryn leaned back in her seat with her arms behind her head as an attempt to look cool. Though misjudging the distance from the back of the seat she was, the fall back shocked her back up. Rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment.
"Uhhh, I mean Care for Magical Creatas sounds like lots of fun yeah! We could do that togetha yeah!"

Louis rolled his eyes at his friend. He was a bit more studious than one expected at times, but he chose to simply laugh it off with a shake of his head as he started giving out drinks and snacks. Louis the dad had entered the cart.

''I think I'm just overly excited, so I've planned like ahead tons. I sort of want to try out to become a prefect or head girl.'' Primrose hummed, her cousin laughing at the notion of such a funny idea.
''Oh shut it Louis, but Kam that would be great. My mum said it's a lot more fun with friends after all'' A big on her smile as she carefully leaned Kamryn forward, making sure her new friend hadn't beaten her own skull open on the first day- Primrose had a lot of experience from pain.
''You didn't hit your head when leaning back, right?'' She hummed, letting go and smiling at the girl.
''Oh, our frogs!'' She exclaimed in joy, taking one of the small holders from her pocket and curiously examining it. Louis took a step back, seemingly aware of the chaos that followed her opening a chocolate frog.

And chaos it was, as Primrose just about opened it and the frog dashed off, causing the girl to throw herself over the table- some books falling over as well as a closed water bottle; one of Kamryn's poor brothers almost getting slammed in the face when she grabbed the frog with a frown.
''Honestly, why enchant them to escape?'' She whined, sitting back and clearly unaware of the small chaos she had created just now, throwing the frog in her mouth and looking at the card.
''Dumbledore'' She hummed, shrugging and putting it back in her pocket.
''Prim, Bloody hell you almost smacked one of the Greer kids, who knows what their mum would've done'' Louis laughed, picking up the objects that fell on the floor.
''Oh? I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!''

"A Prefect, huh..." Kamryn thought about this mess of a girl holding any authority over anymore. The thought was charming as much as it was mildly terrifying. Who knows, maybe she'll end up being fit for the job once the time comes. "That'd definitely be somethin' alrite."

She leaned forward, going along with Prim's efforts. Effectively slumping in on herself in a very unlady-like fashion. "Yup, but it dinny hurt one bit," Kamryn grinned with pride. Being someone who's pretty well used to beats and bruises.
"Aye, not like lil' Kam can get much more brain damage," Leonard remarked with a smirk, earning him a glare from his younger sister. A short lived interaction, as almost seconds later Leonard was inches from a face full of frog. Christopher pulling him out the way of Primrose's stumbling. Kamryn herself dashing ahead to catch the things knocked over in the ruckus. Yup, Primrose would make an amazing Prefect, she thought to herself. Before laughing at the after math caused by a single frog.

"Dumbledore, aye? Me mum used to talk an ol' lot bout him. Great fella from what I gather. And no need to worry! Leonard can take a beatin'," Kamryn leaned in closer to see the card. It showed an old man with a beard longer than Kamryn's hair! She found that absurd given the amount of effort she's put in to not cutting it to look more like a lady.
Without thinking, she reached into her pocket to grab the chocolate frog given to her at the beginning of the ride. "Now how you get that, huh Kam?" Thom asked, knowing full well the answer.
"That ain't important, I wanna s-" Kamryn was cut off by the frog suddenly jumping out. Prim's was right, they were active little buggers. Leonard covered his face, preparing for another accident, but this time Kamryn was able to catch the frog mid-jump.
"Let's see 'ere. Alberic Grunnion aye? Who's that?" She flipped the card to see what it said.
"Eh, you got the dung bomb guy! Fittin' I say."
