Kaito was aware that any show of confidence here would probably come back to bite him, because Cranky was right. He was outnumbered. The girl standing next to Cranky, while seemingly dazed, hadn't been hit once. If he did manage to take Cranky down, then a whole 'nother ball game was waiting for him. Therefore, he was very thankful when the honey badger took it upon herself to make the duel easier for him. He watched as she dodged his spell, but it looked like she put too much energy in evading and none in casting.

"Oof. If you want me to win, you could just let me," he gibed, "No need to take yourself out."

Damion was watching as spells after spells missed hitting the target. Firstly it was Kaito Foxglove whose spell missed their target. Then Minnie Duke's spell missed their target. Somehow Costanza Jewelweed's spell backfired and hit her teammate which was very unfortunate.

He watched very closely as he wanted to see who was going to need his help eventually. He was not sure what was going to happen. He looked at both the teams as he waited to see what was going to happen. He was hoping the match that he was missing out on was going well for his boyfriend. He sighed as he looked at the match in front of him instead of worrying about Hades' match.

Damion was in a corner away from the people who were duelling as he didn't want to come in the crosshairs of their spells. He would rather be safe in the corner with his hands fiddling around with his wand and wondering about what was going to happen in the duel.

Damion kept glancing at the students in front of him- wanting to make sure nothing happened that he missed. He didn't want any of these young students to get hurt; especially on his watch.

Kaito winced as he heard Cranky's rebuttal, but he straightened as he remembered that this was all just in the heat of the duel. And by the looks of things, he wanted to give her even more grace as her spell went sideways and hit her own teammate. After losing Rowan and Theo, he believed that the duel was pretty much lost, but some skyward being was clearly looking over him today.

"You keep making it easy for me, Jewelweed," he spoke with a slight smile, unsure if his jest would elicit a snarky return or more frustration.

"Back in action, Duke?" Kaito sent an easy smile over to Cranky's teammate. The Hufflepuff had been in and out of the duel and he was hoping she'd stay inside her mind for the last round, but Minnie had a thing for timing, apparently. He regarded his two opponents as calmly as he could, shaking off the flames that failed to catch his clothes. Cranky's spell singed his skin, yes, but it could have been much worse. Being lit on fire was not how he wanted to end things. "Lucky shot," he threw at Cranky.
