Rachel Greenford is a very happy young girl whose energy and warmth automatically brighten any room. She is so amiable and social that friends easily get attracted to her wherever she goes. Her nature is very empathetic, and she holds that unique capability to sense and share the feelings of those around her. Her affectionate nature is reflected openly and straightforwardly in expressing love and care. She wears her heart on her sleeve and never hides her feelings. Rachel acts with curiosity regarding the world around her. She's always ready to learn, explore, and start on new adventures—from finding hidden coves to investigating the secrets of her magic. She can be very forthright and straightforward regarding her relationships, which brings out her integrity in being truthful and sincere with those she loves.
BACKGROUND & DISCOVERING MAGIC

Rachel Greenford spent her childhood in a coastal town. She is the youngest of three siblings, with two elder brothers who always looked out for her: Thomas and Samuel. Her parents, Alice and John, run a small tourism business that constantly fills their home with the hustle and bustle of daily interactions with guests and locals. This has formed much of Rachel's amiability and sociability.
For Rachel, growing up beside the ocean spelled days filled with one adventure after the other. She would spend her days roaming through cliffs and beaches and secret coves to become very attached to nature and discovery. Her brothers became Rachel's best friends, and in many of their escapades together, they built lasting relationships. From a young age, Rachel learned from her parents about kindness and hospitality; they opened their hearts and showed compassion to each visiting person.
Rachel's life suddenly turned upside down when her magical powers revealed themselves. A week before her eleventh birthday, while attempting to skim stones on the East Lyn River, one perfectly thrown stone shattered a big rock. Her brothers just waved it off as a coincidence, but Rachel felt something extraordinary had happened. This feeling was further confirmed when a friendly face from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry knocked at her door.
They did open their hearts to this new reality, however. They supported Rachel as she prepared for her new life at Hogwarts, although that meant going through all of the red tape involved in balancing magical education with Muggle's upbringing. Rachel was sorted into Hufflepuff, a house that has attributes such as loyalty, kindness, and diligence—things she was truly made of.
PHYSICAL

Rachel Greenford is an active girl with unruly dark hair, often tangled from her active lifestyle. It frames her heart-shaped face, giving way to bright blue eyes. Her cheeks and her small, button-like nose are dusted with freckles.
