The air was cool. It was early in the morning, and Howgarts was slowly waking up. The sky was a beautiful shade of pink and orange, only scattered by a few white clouds. The timid sun's rays gently warmed Elena's face, as she was leaning against an old tree. She loved waking up early. The world seemed to hold its breath, everything was slower and calmer.
She was buried deep within her book, turning the pages and running her fingers in the carefully drawn illustrations of firing dragons. Suddenly, she heard a faint rustling, and saw something move in her peripheral vision. She was trying to figure out if she hallucinated or not when a thing jumped on her book, making her startle.
She looked down, her heart pounding, and saw.... an adorable ferret, staring at her with big brown eyes. She chuckled, and presented her hand to the cute animal. He was silver, with big inquisitive eyes. After sniffing her fingers and deciding she was worth of his attention, he rubbed his head against her knuckles. She laughed "Hello there, little guy. What are you doing here? Did you get lost?"
The ferret layed on her book, offering his belly for more scratches. Elena chuckled, and willingly obeyed the silent order from the little animal. Suddenly, she notice he was trying to get in her bag. Frowning, she stopped him, before remembering what was in her bag. She took the Mars bar, and waved it. "Is this what you want?"
The ferret wriggled excitedly, trying to reach the chocolate bar. Elena gave him a small piece, which he devoured instantly. She continued to pet it, laughing as it squirmed, nearly stumbling over her book."What's your name, buddy?"

It was morning, strangely enough, Alliasta wasn't woken up with little feet/paws on her face this day. This was weird, normally Kaito would be jumping on her right now, but no, Alliasta woke up normally.
The girl woke up immediately and looked around, the other girls were still sleeping. Allista looked around and Kaito wasn't there. And the door was slightly ranged... She must have forgotten to close the door completely in the evening and what she was afraid of must have happened to her. Kaito was gone. The girl immediately hurried downstairs.
She couldn't look at everyhere but looked at the places Kaito to go Gryffindor Common Room, the Great hall and the last as the courtyard. There weren't many people around but this place included places where Kaito can be stored. Alliasta was at the end when she saw a girl sitting there. She could ask the girl if girl saw the ferret.
Alliasta saw the ferret in the girl's lap when she approached the girl. Oh this was Kaito. She was really relieved she let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding. Calmly, but it progressed rapidly there.
When the ferret saw the girl jumped right on top and climbed up to the girl's head. Alliasta giggled then looked at the girl sitting.
"Oh my name is Alliasta and this little ferret's name is Kaito. Kaito must have run away because I left the dorm room door open. I was so worried about him. Thank you for finding him!"

While Elena was playing with the ferret, she heard footsteps coming. Turning her head, she saw a girl with black hair in red pajamas. Elena immediately understood that she could only be the owner of the little ferret, so she took back her hands to free him. Elena chuckled as he climbed on her head, finding it adorable. She then noticed, as the girl approached, that she had eyes of two different colors.
Wow. That's really beautiful.
Elena looked away, not wanting to make her uncomfortable by staring. As she closed her book, she heard the girl speak. "Oh, my name is Alliasta and this little ferret's name is Kaito. Kaito must have run away because I left the dorm room door open. I was so worried about him. Thank you for finding him!" Elena looked up, meeting the girl's smiling gaze. She smiled in return, nodding her head, and chuckled. "Actually, he found me first, but you're welcome! He's adorable."
Elena stood up, extending her hand. "I'm Elena! I'm a first-year, a Ravenclaw." She tilted her head, noticing the large lion on Alliasta's pajamas. "Gryffindor, I presume ?"

Alliasta noticed that the girl was paying attention to her eyes. She had always loved the way people reacted when they saw her. The girl held out her hand and introduced herself as Elena. Alliasta shook the girl's hand gently. And she gave the girl her biggest smile.
"Yes, I'm a Gryffindor! Is it too obvious?"
Alliasta makes a little joke to get a little more comfortable. Elena giggles at Alliasta.
"Hah your laugh is so cute!"
When Alliasta felt a little cold, she just realized that she was still in her pajamas. Then she smiled sheepishly.
"Oh I'm still in my pajamas! I'm sorry! Hey, can we meet again for breakfast after I change my clothes?"
Elena approved Alliasta's offer and they shook hands. Alliasta quickly took Kaito from her head, put her in her arms, and started walking quickly to get back to her dorm room without anyone seeing her.
Alliasta scolded Kaito, until she went to the room. The ferret did not look into Alliasta's eyes, as if he realized his mistake. Finally, Alliasta reached her room without anyone seeing her and immediately started changing her clothes. She had a new friend! This is very exciting for her.
