Koko's hair looked darker than it usually did, and while she wasn't one to play the blame game, she was blaming the foul weather for it sticking to her face. She paid no mind, though; it wasn't in her eyes, so why worry? The rain was pounding down even harder now, and Koko was extremely grateful for her Quidditch gloves, which prevented her hands from slipping on the slick shaft of the broom. Or should it have been hand, for her other hand was busy gripping a bat.

Bludgers would by flying around, and it would be hard to see. Koko would do her best to whack anything back at the other team. In fact, she could see a dark shape coming towards her. Gotcha, she thought, swinging her bat to collide with what appeared to be a bludger. If only someone would just slip off their broom!

Elijah muttered a few curse words under his breath as he saw the quaffle fly past him into the goal. What kind of a keeper was he? Well, perhaps he'd get better... eventually. He couldn't help but feel completely useless, though, and his jaw clenched in frustration. His determination and intense need to be validated would carry him through the game, but whether or not it would save any goals was yet to be determined. So far? Well, it seemed that he'd have to try just a little harder.

After all, he had a legacy to protect. Huffing in annoyance, Elijah made sure to completely focus on the quaffle, waiting and preparing for the next goal.

It wasn't as though Dan had expected to spot the snitch immediately; in this weather he knew that such a thing was nearly impossible. This did not mean, however, that the mild frustration of not seeing it immediately was annulled. And on top of that, Ravenclaw managed to score.
For a moment, Dan wished he was a beater. Then he realized that he most definitely did not wish he was a beater. He would be terrible at it. He would hit a bludger, and it would stop in the air long enough to laugh at him before going on its merry way wherever it wanted. He wouldnt have minded a chaser, but there was a LOT of things happening with them, and he didn't think he had the strength to pull the Quaffle out of someone's hands. No, a seeker was the best thing for him to be. He was observant, he could keep track of a lot of things while focusing on looking for the Snitch, this was where he was meant to be in a Quidditch match.

Dan shook those thoughts from himself. He then began to scan the area with his eyes again, moving around a bit to get better views of all the areas, swiveling his head, looking for even the slightest movement that wasn't a chaser or red ball. Those things were not his concern, so he should not let them be objects of focus. He kept his eyes focused on seeing a giant ugly ball hurtling at him, or for the tiniest movement of a golden winged ball flitting about.

Elena grimaced as their opponent scored, at least the bludgers headed for Elijah had been dodged or intercepted. A short set of communication was distributed across the Slytherin side, and before long the girl whooshed towards her newest goal, sending an opponent out of commission.

At some point more chasers should fall in, but whoever the opponent was, they may not have been expecting a Parkins Pincer such as this. Blatching this early in the game was a gambit but a gambit that would be well worth it in the end, it’d likely pay off, and the strategy was rather sound.

Ruby forced herself not to let her facial expressions slip into a frown or sneer as the Ravenclaws scored. It was 10 more points, but it had brought the two teams to a tie. It was like it was back to 0-0. She would just have to try harder and get as involved in the game as she possibly could. With the scores equal again, the tension and pressure rose a bit more, and every move would likely count for more. Her grip on her broom tightened slightly – a reaction that came from both her determination as well as her desire to not fall off the broom. The equipment was getting slippery, and it was still early in the game. The added difficulty of having to avoid slipping off of the slick wood would only spice things up a bit. She joined the other Slytherin chasers in their collaborative move.

Things were just beginning to get interesting…

Damn, not again!
This clearly wasn't going to be her game. Alexx was frustrated now. Pissed. She was being absolutely useless. That didn't bode well with the Slytherin chaser. Well, her anger had to be compensated somehow. Thank Merlin that this was Quidditch. Colliding with someone was no problem- that was all cool. A good ole Parkins Pincer would help relieve her anger. She certainly hoped that she would be forgiven for this. After all, Ruby and Elena were doing the same thing. Just as it was meant to be.

Going full speed at her target, she decided that if nothing else, the least she could do is help knock someone off their broom. That would be a good story to tell. Besides, she had some time to work on her quaffle-grabbing skills. Until then, it was time for action. After all, glory and gore go hand in hand.

Dammit. The bludger had somehow missed the Slytherin keeper, Elijah. Oh well, the game was still young and... Ravenclaw scored! A wide grin broke out onto Amanda’s face as the scores drew even. Keep it up team, she thought to herself. And we’ll have a shot at winning for sure.
Her eyes roved over the Slytherin team members, trying to figure out who to aim for this time. Amanda’s gaze settled on a particular team member and she readied her bat. She wouldn’t miss this time, no, she’d hit home and hopefully knock the player off their broom. She didn’t wish ill intent on them personally, but it’s just business, she thought as she sent the bludger flying in their direction with a loud whack!

Cecily grinned as the Quaffle sailed through the hoop. Yes, Lavinia! Slytherin may have scored first, but there was no way they were winning this game. She wouldn't let it happen.

The blonde Chaser didn't even leave time for a breath before she was racing once more towards the quaffle. Still, though, she thought of that bludger rocketed towards Arc-- that was a nasty one. If they lost a player to one of those ruthless Slytherin beaters, they would be done for, undoubtedly.

At the last minute, Cecily pulled up short. She scanned the field, keeping a sharp eye on all of her teams' players as well as the dangerous bludgers. Their team couldn't afford to lose a player to one of those things. Plus, they had gotten the quaffle once before, and they could get it again without her-- perhaps it would even be easier with less people in the way. So she levitated, poised, on her broom, senses on edge and ready to race to the rescue of a fallen teammate.
ACTION: saving a teammate, if necessary.

Sorry this took me so long, the Race and Ability System release took up all the hours I had to post on Friday, my intended day to post this. I am presently in the midst of my shifts so free time is non-existent for me. In any case, I probably missed something, if so please let me know what.
@River Dewlight and @Dan Palmer would scan the field in search of the snitch.
River Dewlight searches for the snitch. 10 + 8 + 2 = 20 [DC is 23]
Dan Palmer searches for the snitch. 10 + 8 + 1 = 19 [DC is 23]
Neither River nor Dan was able to catch a glimpse of the snitch.

A mad rush for the quaffle. Where one would expect that representatives from both teams would tear across the field as they tried to snatch the lone quaffle, only @Arc Perscivious and @Lavina Cloven would attempt to gain control of the Quaffle.
Arc Perscivious attempts to perform a quaffle grab 4 + 8 = 12
Lavinia Cloven attempts to perform a quaffle grab 12 + 5 = 17
Lavina got hold of the Quaffle for a second time in a row. The crowd cheers!

@Marcia Kingsleigh, @Warren Kirkland and @Koko Riddle were out for blood. Marcia would hit the bludger first.
Marcia: Random target as none was identified. 1- River Dewlight, 2 - Arc Perscivious, 3 - Cecily Quinn, 4 - Lavinia Cloven, 5 - Hengist Warbeck, 6 - Emma Hill, 7 - Amanda Sparrow, 8 - Angellica Rowley. Roll: 7 (Amanda Sparrow)
Marcia attempts to bludger Amanda Sparrow. 4 + 9 = 13
Amanda Sparrow attempts to avoid the bludger. 9 + 6 = 15
The hard ball would hit the bat, aimed for Amanda Sparrow. The bludger would miss Amanda.

Both teams appear to have gone on the offensive. As Lavina rushes off, @Emma Hill, @Angellica Rowley and @Amanda Sparrow raise their bats and their eyes scan the field. Those bludgers always come quick. With a wack of their bats and a loud, resonating clank as the hard projectile impacted the wood of their bat and they launched the bludgers.
Emma Hill attempts to Bludger Marcia Kingsleigh.
Attack (Emma) 19 + 9 = 28
Evasion (Marcia) 15 + 6 = 21
Angellica Rowley attempts to Bludger Ruby Cazares.
Attack (Angellica) 1 + 7 = 8
Evasion (Ruby) 8 + 4 = 12
Amanda Sparrow attempts to Bludger Elena Jones.
Attack (Amanda) 2 + 9 = 11
Evasion (Elena) 11 + 7 = 18
The bludgers would shoot past Ruby and Elena, narrowly missing them both. Marcia, however was not quite as fortunate. she would be hit square in the chest, the wind knocked out of her. She might have even felt a rib crack. Marcia's self-proclaimed paramour, Patrick (NPC) would cry out for her in sympathy from the stands and declare bloody vengeance on Emma Hill. She would be knocked from her broom, her grip temporarily lost on the shaft. She would plummet towards the ground. None of @Marcia Kingsleigh's allies were prepared for this,  she would hit the ground hard. Solomon would swallow hard at the graceless landing and call out "Medic!" it was amazing that parents were content with this brutal sport but it was a wizarding pastime. A rather loud, somewhat brutish Slytherin teen would also push his way onto the field (NPC) yelling Marcia's name along with a string of profanities aimed skyward.

Emma's victory would be short-lived. Team Slytherin was going to put Emma in her place: the ground. Known as Parkins Pincer, a 'dirty' move. @Ruby Cazares and @Elena Jones flew onto either side of Emma Hill. She had nowhere else to go. @Alexx Severin would rush inbetween the pair of allied brooms keeping pace now with Emma. Emma might even have an inkling of what was going to happen next.
Alexx attempts to blatch Emma. 16 + 6 = 22
Emma attempts to avoid Alexx. 18 + 9 = 27
Disadvantage roll for Emma 17 + 9 = 26
Emma was able to somehow slip away. Alexx would rush forward and just before they collided Emma would drop down suddenly and Alexx would zoom overhead. The crowd would groan in either disappointment that they did not see a disaster or in disapproval for the the foul that Alexx had almost committed. Solomon would blow a whistle, signaling a foul with his hand, a look of disapproval on his face.  "Attempted blatching!" He would declare. Warren would catch a bludger on its rebound and with a mighty hit of his bat he would hope his attacked thinned Ravenclaw's ranks.

Warren: Random target as none was identified. 1- River Dewlight, 2 - Arc Perscivious, 3 - Cecily Quinn, 4 - Lavinia Cloven, 5 - Hengist Warbeck, 6 - Emma Hill, 7 - Amanda Sparrow, 8 - Angellica Rowley. Roll:  6 (Emma Hill)
Warren attempts to bludger Emma. 10 + 6 = 16
Emma attempts to evade Warren. 7 + 9 = 16
Re-roll Warren attempts to bludger Emma. 14 + 6 = 20
Re-roll Emma attempts to evade Warren. 10 + 9 = 19
Emma would be struck from behind. It would hit her square behind her shoulder blades. It was disorienting, painful as it was it was not enough to knock her from her broom.
Damage: 600 - 200 = 400
As if Warren had fallen asleep on his broom, Koko Riddle would wack the bludger.
Koko: Random target as none was identified. 1- River Dewlight, 2 - Arc Perscivious, 3 - Cecily Quinn, 4 - Lavinia Cloven, 5 - Hengist Warbeck, 6 - Emma Hill, 7 - Amanda Sparrow, 8 - Angellica Rowley. Roll: 1 (River Dewlight)
Koko attempts to bludger River. 15 + 6 = 21
River attempts to evade Koko. 19 + 4 = 23
Koko was not a particular accurate girl, nor was River very nimble. While the dance was clumsy, River emerged victorious as the bludger shot past her.

Lavina would rush towards the Slytherin goal. @Hengist Warbeck could have a sigh of relief, the quaffle was not headed his way this time around. It was between Lavina and @Elijah Huang once again.
Lavina attempts to score a goal. 6 + 5 = 11
Elijah attempts to protect his goal. 18 + 3 = 21
While it was a noble attempt, Elijah would protect the goal with his body. His hands would cup the quaffle and he would feel the cool leather in his hands. Elijah had possession of the Quaffle!

Quaffle: It is in Elijah's possession. Elijah can leave his goal and attempt to score or he can pass the Quaffle to another player. I will add this move to the play list because it is an oversight that such does not seem to exist. A PASS would be considered Elijah's action, he would still be able to guard his goal this way. There is a risk of course, by passing the Quaffle it can be intercepted. While there are no premade plays that have interception as an option (those plays are just sample plays, you can make all the plays you would like) an interception can be done by ANY player as an attempt to intercept the quaffle. What stat does this? ACCURACY. It is a contested ACCURACY roll between the user that is passing and the person attempting to intercept. If the user that is passing wins the roll, then the quaffle reaches its intended target.

Blatching: There was an attempted blatching. Alexx would be called on the foul for that, effecting her next round action.
The only person who did not post this round was @Warren Kirland. He would have hit a user had he posted in this thread, causing some damage.

This is why Hengist had wanted the position of keeper. As long as your team had good offence, you don't need to worry too much. Still, he had to stay alert. Especially for things like bludgers; he saw a Slytherin girl get hit hard by one. So hard, in fact, that it knocked her right off her broom. Even worse, there were none of her teammate nearby to stop her fall, so she fell right to the ground.

'Oh man, I hope she's ok...' Hengist thought. Even though she was on the opposing team, he didn't wish serious harm to anyone playing. He then noticed someone running onto the pitch, screaming and yelling. 'Nutter,' he thought, his focus reapplied to the game at hand. The enemy keeper had just saved another goal attempt by Lavina, so he figured they would likely be coming at him with an attempt. 'Here we go,' he thought.
