Ravenclaw v Slytherin Quidditch Game Finished

@River Dewlight and @Dan Palmer would scan the field, seeking that glint of gold. The rain was starting to fall harder, the faint buzz of the snitch almost drowned out by the rumble of thunder. The rain left the field in a haze.

Neither of them would catch the snitch in their gaze, in fact it would buzz past them narrowly missing Dan's head. Where did it go? Too late, it was already gone.

Meanwhile the Chasers would rush the Quaffle. It would be a flurry of limbs, as each of them attempts to snatch the coveted ball. 

For team Slytherin @Alexx Séverin and @Ruby Cazares would attempt to obtain possession of the Quaffle. Perhaps they could have a repeat of last round!  @Arc Perscivious and @Lavina Cloven for team Ravenclaw would attempt to snatch the Quaffle. They were not going to let Slytherin score twice in a row! Meanwhile, Slytherin would attempt to widen their lead.

Lavinia gained possession of the Quaffle.

@Lavinia Cloven was the fastest among them, she would grip the quaffle in her hand and she would rush the goal rings. Perhaps she would score for Team Ravenclaw, tying the match! The only thing between her and success now would be the Keeper, @Elijah Huang. Elijah had not had a chance to prove himself as the defender of these rings, this would be his chance. As the Ravenclaw barreled towards the rings, her ally @Arc Perscivious in hot pursuit. Arc would prove to be a target for the other team, perhaps it was his slender frame, his clever wit or just bad luck. @Marcia Kingsleigh would swat at the bludger as it zoomed about erratically with her bat. With a loud *crack* the Slytherin would launch the bludger directly at Arc.

Marcia's attack was absolutely brutal. The bludger would almost hit Arc in the side, but he would move out of the way. Had Arc been hit, he would have been sent to the floor in a single blow from Marcia's brutish attack. 

Ravenclaw was also on the offensive, they had their eyes on Elijah, Slytherin's young keeper. All three of the Beaters would set their eyes on the poor boy and in a display of concentration, coordination and cruelty they would combine their strength and efforts so that they might rocket the bludger at the Keeper.

As if by some miracle, the attack missed Elijah. At this moment the boy looked like a star. Elijah's potential saviors could release a sigh of relief and Elijah's fangirls would be happy to know his pretty face was not smashed just yet. But it was a close one. 

Lavinia would reach the goal line and with a mighty toss she would hurl the quaffle towards Slytherin's rings.

A noble attempt by Elijah, who was protected by @Koko Riddle, Lavina's toss proved true and would slip through the ring. The crowd would erupt into a roar of cheers, the game was now tied. 10 Slytherin and 10 Ravenclaw. This might proove to be a relief for the Ravenclaw Keeper @Hengist Warbeck, it gave him a moment's respite to see what the rest of the team was doing. It might also unsettle him to know how brutal their beaters were as well. Thank Merlin that was not him.

Slytherin Quaffle: It is in nobody's possession. To obtain possession of the Quaffle you will have to perform another Quaffle Grab.

'Finally, a score by our team!' Hengist thought. He felt some relief that the spotlight was off of him for a moment. However, the game was in full swing now and was starting to get brutal. Right before Lavinia scored, he had noticed that a bludger hit by one of the Slytherin beaters had flown RIGHT past Arc, very nearly hitting him. The speed the bludger was moving made it look like it had a very large amount of force behind it. If it had hit his teammate, it very certainly would've knocked him right off his broom, very likely knocking him unconscious at the same time. Hengist very suddenly wished he was somewhere else.

"No, I can't think like that," Hengist said to himself under his breath. As long as he was aware of his surroundings, he figured he'd be able to dodge any potential bludger attempts. The rain did make that more difficult than it sounded, however. Still, consequences could be dealt with when they happened. After all, Hogwarts did have a top notch medical wing (or so he's read) for a reason.

What? Again?! Arc didn't have the time to vocalize his thought as he evaded the powerful bludger by a hair's breadth. He managed to move himself away from the coming projectile in the nick of time. It had so much force behind it, just the wind current alone almost pushed him off his broom. The lanky boy would have died had it struck true. Okay, that was an exaggeration, but somewhere along that line. He swore he could've seen a glimpse of what would've happened... And he didn't like it at all. All these bludging around had made him slower and he couldn't get to the Quaffle in time again. Thankfully, Lavinia got it first and made a score. You go girl!

It was about time they changed strategy, though.

Arc had gathered enough information about their opponents and he could deduce the rest. The dark-haired boy relayed the information to his captain through hand signals. She nodded and gave further instructions. Oh, wow. Really? Arc nodded back and gave a small smirk.

"Let's go, Broomy," said Arc before speeding with his broom again.

Here came the pain train.

A smile formed on her face as she watched Lavinia grab the Quaffle and put it through the goal posts, making the game tied. Tempted to cheer like the crowd, she kept herself busy and kept an eye on her teammates and saw Arc just on the edge of her perspective. Taking her eyes off the game, she directed part of her attention to him. The game was still in session after all, and there wasn't going to be a brief ten-second break to catch up on the event. It was tied now, but they had to take the lead.

Nodding back, she pointed her bat at the quaffle and gestured to one of the opposing players smiling. She wanted to keep Hengist off duty as long as time allowed. 

Let's go guys. Emma thought to herself. There was no use in yelling it to the team over the rain, it would do no good for her now or later. She readjusted her grip on her bat and focused on her target through the downpour. Making out the shape of the bludger, she swung her bat and hoped for the best outcome, well, her version of 'the best outcome'. Moving a strand of wet hair from her vision, she thought to herself. Sorry, girl.

The game was tied, and Angellica was beyond ecstatic, a renewal of energy taking over her thin frame. Not the usual beater build, it didn’t prevent the young Ravenclaw from putting her all into the game. Petite and full of rage, she enjoyed the catharsis of her position, and with the renewed confidence, she looked towards Emma, the team captain in the rain.

Recognizing cues from her team, the blonde zoomed towards the nearest bludger, and ensuring her target was nearby. Though not the strongest of creatures, Angellica mustered up all her pent up aggravations, mostly focusing on the Es she'd received on work she felt should have gotten an O. When her chance came she swung fast and hard, hoping the bludger would hit its mark and help her team gain advantage.

It’s going to be impossible to find the snitch in this weather! River was getting more and more angry with the fact that the weather gods apparently were against them today. Rain was something she didn’t always mind, but right now, it was making the task at hand, difficult.

The sky flashed by a great lightning as River heard the crowd burst out in cheers and applause.
River’s head spun around trying to see what had been the cause, and was met by the sight of Lavinia carrying the quaffle and going for a score. Yes! She did it! A slight smile appeared on River’s face, they were tied.

River turned to see how the slytherin seeker was doing, he didn’t appear to have spotted the snitch yet either, thank god...

I raced towards the quaffle but I was not the only one with this idea. As the four of us tried to grab it for some miracle I was the fastest one and I snatched up that quaffle and headed towards the goal posts. Arc was right behind me and Slytherins brutal beater hit the bludger right at him thank goodness that it did not hit him or else I might wind up being the chaser on our team still on the field. As I focused back on the game somehow surprised that I had quaffle, I threw the quaffle at the rings and only one thing stood in my way; Elijah Huang Slytherins keeper. And I SCORED!! It felt like the best moment of my life when the quaffle went through that hoop and I felt like my dad was so proud and would be so proud when I owled him about the game.

As she glanced over at the rest of her teammates she knew it was time to start the next play and her team should think that we are back to 0 vs 0 and focus on the next move.

She felt the hit going through all her body, making her flinch. She bared her teeth at her target, who was flying further away from her. The bludger changed its course with a bang and flew directly at the Ravenclaw. "Got 'ya!"

Her second hand held the shaft of her Nimbus in a tight grip to ensure her balance. "Hell yes!" she shouted, her bat high in the air in celebration. She had hit him good, or so she thought. What?

The Ravenclaw rolled over and it had looked as if her bludger had got him, but without hesitation the player continued his flight. Marcia had a curse on her lips, when she saw where the Ravenclaw was heading. The other team was preparing something, she could feel it, but so was her team. In a roll she let herself fall even further, to get where she was needed.
