Nice Day For New Friends

─────Just as Alex was about to worry that the boy had gotten himself hurt in the water, he jumped up and pulled her into the lake as well. "Prat, no!! You bi-" her insult was cut off as her head went underwater. Despite it being a fairly warm day, the water was quite cold.

She surfaced, coughing and cursing at Prat. "That was horribly cruel," she scolded while blinking the water out of her eyes. "Prat, what is your problem? I had said no and you completely ignored that!" she was furious, but, as a proper lady would she would keep it (mostly) under wraps until she could get her revenge.

Prat helped her out of the water, he had a guilty look on his face. I bet he doesn't even regret it, he just regrets pissing me off. She watched as he scrambled around looking for his wand, soon realizing he didn't have it. The way he spoke reminded Alexandria of the way someone would act when handling a ticking bomb. Is he scared I'll do something?

She considered him for a moment before accepting the shirt he held out to her, "Thanks Prat. I guess you're not horrible, but I do have to do this," she said as she shoved him back into the lake. She laughed as he surfaced, "Sorry... It was necessary and well deserved though."

Alex then stepped back from the lake to near a bush where she took off her soaking wet shirt and changed into the dry shirt Prat had given her.

She walked back over a few moments later to see that the boy had gotten out of the lake again. She chuckled nervously, "Yeah.... sorry about that."

As she threw Prat back in he couldn't help but laugh at he situation,getting himself out of the lake he found her coming out of the nearby dense bushes with a dry shirt on.

Prat looked away noticing his still wet body and the damp trousers he had just gotten made. Looking at her Prat begins with, " "That was so mean and cruel of you, yo-you imbecile" " mimicking her voice and expressiveness.

Prat enjoyed teasing her more and more as the redder she got trying to find what'd actually make her mad. Standing up near to her with a conflicted expression he begins,"I didn't think you'd throw me like that." He says while removing the water logging from his shoes and the wet socks he now had and completely hated.

As they began their walk back to the dorms Prat noticed her bag and saw she still had some food left," If you don't want to eat those,i'll take them gladly i love these snacks you brought with yourself."

As they kept getting closer to the dorm's Prat had to think of something to keep the conversation going and he settled on boasting yet again," Y'know if you ever need help with DADA, beg and cry to me and i'll teach you something" he told Alex as the Hogwarts building arrived.

Before she could even say her word , Prat muttered," I'll uhh see you at dinner then, BYE TOMATO!" he said as he ran away without stopping, right back to the slytherin dorms.

─────"Imbecile? That's quite a big word for you. Careful, don't hurt yourself," she laughed. Alex smiled, looking at Prat, who was soaking wet. Oh, this poor kid.

"I'm sorry, you're going to have to walk back to the castle drenched. Although, you did somewhat do that to yourself," she said as she picked up her bag and started putting all her art supplies back in it.

Once she finished putting everything back in her bag, she told him, "We best be heading back to the castle to get dry and change. I doubt you would like to spend much longer in those clothes."

As they started walking back to the castle, Alex glanced back at the scene she had been attempting to draw earlier, It's fine, I'll come back at some point and finish my drawing so I can show my family.

Prat asked for the snacks that were left in her bag and she smiled at him, "I suppose so. Though I'm surprised you hadn't eaten them all already." She stopped walking for a moment to dig through her bag and grab the snacks that Prat had requested, "Here you are," Alex said while giving them to him.

They walked for a while longer, the castle slowly began to creep closer. As the pair walked, Alex looked around at the scenery. There was nothing particularly magical about the grounds of Hogwarts, yet they held their own special beauty. Prat suddenly spoke up, startling Alex as he bragged about how he could help her with anything related to their Defense Against The Dark Arts class. "I have an O in that class mind you-" but before she could finish speaking, Prat ran off while yelling back at her. Tomato? Excuse me?

As he ran off, she muttered, "I- yeah, okay. See you at dinner, I suppose."

She continued walking on her own, thinking aloud as she went, "What does he mean by 'tomato'? I'm so confu-" and then it hit her, why he had called her that. "Oh how I depise that boy..." she thought, her cheeks turning slightly pink.
