Btw, I have a small (not so small) qn:

So the main lore I want for Ayumi's parents atp is: her parents work in the ministry, they like to go for parties to get in touch with more people, and they would help others sometimes when they feel 'nice'. Does this make sense, or is it contradictory?

So regarding Ayumi herself, basically she would get the calculative-manipulative trait from her parents to a certain degree but her kindness would be real. Although she tends to be more rigid when she's around her parents because she wants to live up to their expectations, she sometimes can be daring enough to go against them if she really really wants to.

She would try to do her best in everything, even if it might hurt her/someone else that isn't family or close friends, but as she spends more time in hogwarts, she would slowly open up and care more about other people. That's the character arc I want her to go through for the first few years. Not sure how good it is though!

I like it !! It makes sense that she inherit some of her parents trait, but maybe her friends can help her see that she's not like them and help her grow her own personnality ?
