...Serena walked to the Gryffindor table smiling happily, her heartbeat still going faster from the excitment that she really got to join the Gryffindors. She spotted an empty seat, sitting down and then watching the rest of the students being sorted, clapping and cheering with the other Gryffindors when another student joined the house. When the sorting ceremony was over the dinner finally appeard on the table and she realised how hungry she was. Her stomach growled and she immediately started to load her plate with the delicious food being presented to her. After she tried almost everything, she started to look around at the Gryffindor table noticing that everyone was talking with someone except for her. She gulped and sighed, quickly looking down at her plate when a student looked over at her, quietly eating the rest of a salad that she put on her plate. After she finished eating she glanced at the students direction to make sure that she isnt being watched, sighing relieved when she spots the student talking to someone and not paying attention to her, but right at the moment when she wanted to look away the student turned around to her and said hello...

Rhea was just scooping up some more mashed potatoes onto her plate when she felt someone slide into the open seat next to her. She turned to look at the person and saw that it was a girl with really long hair. However, she continued her conversation with Sophia and decided not to say anything to the girl, knowing that soon she'd be talking to others.

Rhea loved her mashed potatoes, and as soon as she'd finished her second helping she put herself a third helping. But as she was putting up some more mashed potatoes she saw that the girl next to her wasn't talking to anyone. So, being the newly sorted Gryffindor that she was, she decided to not act like a Slytherin, the way she was raised, and instead act like a Gryffindor. Rhea decided to start by saying hello to the girl and introducing herself.

"Hey," she said, turning to look at her. "I'm Rhea Bishop. What's your name?"

Juliana sat down at the furthest and loneliest corner she could sit at. She just wanted to be alone and not be bothered by the other Griffindors. She ate a little bit of food and got full. Juliana took out her sketchbook, she thought of Slytherin and how interesting they where, why was she in Griffindor? Her fathers side was full of Griffindors except for her first ancestor to go to this school, which was in Slytherin. Bloody hell, she had talked to Slytherins more than she has talked to her own house, Griffindor. After getting bored of drawing gore she decided to draw snakes, Juliana drew snakes eating small animals, she drew giant snakes eating people, and she just drew snakes in general. Juliana loved acting like a 'Griffindor'. She liked the conversations she had with the fellow Slytherins, especially Dmitri. She found him hilarious, with his seriousness and how he does his fake impression of a 'nice-welcoming-student'. Juliana laughed at the thought. She looked at the group of people taking to each other near her, Juliana looked at how the girl introduced herself to the new one. Juliana snickered, she tried to hide her face with her drawings, Juliana found it funny for some reason, she tried her hardest to not look insane by laughing in one corner by herself.
Juliana thought of something, she could use her 'Nice-Griffindor-student' impression. That would be hilarious, tjust then she moved closer to the girls. "Hi! Call me Puppet since I hate my first name. Oh my gosh! Your hair looks soo pretty! So. You got into Griffindor?! That's

so amazing! Its like the house that the famous 'Harry Potter' got right? So ya! We are the ones who are cowards right?" Three Slytherins passed by laughing at Juliana's comment, but Juliana did not break character. "Oh! I meant to say we are the ones who think we are brave! Right?" Juliana continued. Then she went back to her original seat and started reading a book called 'Alchemical duodecimo'. She hid her face in the book and tried to hide her laughs in the book.
(It would not let me edit my other post so I had to start a new one. So this is a continuation of the other post)

Rhea turned to look at the girl who had spoken, and was taken aback by what she saw. The girl had long-ish black hair, with bangs, and was dressed in all black. She had on some glasses, and her skin was extremely pale, so pale she sort of looked like a vampire. Rhea listened to the girl introduce herself as Puppet, which was an... interesting name, to say the least, and continued to ramble on in happiness. Rhea thought she could spot some fake enthusiasm in the girl's tone, but she couldn't be too sure. Although Rhea was a professional in spotting fake people, this girl threw her senses off a bit. She didn't know what to think of her.

"We are the ones who are cowards right?" Puppet stated, earning a laugh from passing Slytherins. Rhea turned to look at the Slytherins and scowled at them, before turning back around to look at Puppet and raising her eyebrows. Did the girl just mock the Gryffindor house? Granted, Rhea was being a bit of a hypocrite by thinking that, as she was one who indulged in making fun of the House. But not anymore, now that she was sorted into Gryffindor. She accepted that the Sorting Hat made no mistake, and there was a reason she was in Gryffindor. Sure, she was sour about it, but she knew that what's done is done.

Puppet corrected herself, "Oh! I meant to say we are the ones who think we are brave! Right?" Rhea rolled her eyes and saw that it was obvious by then that Puppet was mocking the Gryffindor house. Rhea managed to barely suppress her irritation and instead squeezed out a small, semi-aggressive comment.

"You should be careful of what you say Puppet," Rhea said in a barely concealed cold tone. "You wouldn't want to make any enemy of someone who is in Gryffindor. Not only are we brave, but we are determined as well. And if someone mocks something dear to, say a redheaded girl, then the girl may be determined enough to go after that certain someone."

"Oh I never knew that if you where redheaded people likes to chase people! Oh that's funny." Juliana responded to the other girl. "Oh and Griffindor is already my enemy, like the whole Griffindor is my enemy. Even my roommates. Its hilarious in my opinion." Juliana said in a annoyed tone as she put her book down. " And now, if you excuse me I will continue to read Alchemical duodecimo'" Juliana put the book back to her face. She was starting to like the house. Only because she found the people amusing. Juliana got bored as soon as she read one word from the book so then she decided to continue on. " I Dont really care if you take my drawings and art stuff since I already lost a whole bunch of them by tripping a lot. But you might want to reconsider that idea, because I looove pranks. Not that I'm going to play some one you..." Juliana said in a smile. Wow. A redheaded girl is going to follow her and try to ruin her life, Juliana's life was already ruined. Maybe if she went by the Slytherin table more often or if she hanged out with more Slytherins more often then maybe she would go away. Pfft that girl said that redheads like to chase people around, oh that was too funny. By the thought of it Juliana burst into laughter. She held out her hand towards the girl. " Oh its nothing. Dont worry. I'm just a phsycopath who laughs for no reason."

Rhea raised her eyebrow as Puppet openly acknowledged that she was mocking the House. And she thought that the people in Gryffindor were amusing, was that it? Oh, Rhea would give her something to be amused about. She didn't know what it was now, but she knew that eventually she'd figure something out and make Puppet regret talking smack about Gryffindor.

"i don't really care if you take my drawings and art stuff since I already lost a whole bunch of them by tripping a lot. But you might want to reconsider that idea, because I looove pranks. Not thatI I'm going to play some one you..." Puppet smiled evilly, a mischievous spark in her eyes. Rhea smirked, knowing that this was her time to pretend to me an innocent little girl who had absolutely no idea how to prank. But in reality, Rhea had never lost a prank battle. Never. And she never would.

"Oh no, you're gonna play a prank on me?" Rhea said, bringing her hands to her mouth and opening her eyes in mock fear. "Please don't!"

Rhea smirked inside and crossed her arms, sending a challenging look to Puppet. If she wanted to have enemies from Gryffindor, well then so be it. Rhea didn't deal well with anyone who treated her and what she dearly loved poorly.

Emily, clearly annoyed by the continuing bickering looked up from her small plate of food. Raising a dark eyebrow she brushed away her black, messy hair to get a better look at the situation. It was not like her to inject in a conversation, but this was getting interesting. She observed the two girls from across the table, one with pasty white skin and black hair, wearing boring, square glasses, and the other, with fiery amber  hair.

Emily snickered slightly as she realised that this vampire looking girl was in Gryffindor herself. It was quite odd to insult the house you are in, for your house should be your family.

Interjecting into the conversation, without really being asked first, the black haired Gryffindor cleared her throat and spoke in a quiet, but assertive tone "Aren't you in Gryffindor as well? I would think its a bit thick to be criticising your own house... If you dont like it, then there is a extra table you can sit at, or im sure the Hufflepuffs will take you." She of course was messing with the mutonus traitor. Emily smirked, her dark blue eyes, were almost violet as they squinted up in taunting concern. "Oh and you got that confused, Gryffindor is the bravest table." She added as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Perhaps you should do a bit more research on Hogwarts, or just listen to the sorting hat next time." She was sneering now, laughing at such ignorance.

As for the pranks, they would be amusing to watch, she had read a book about some curses and pranks, but wasn't too interested in practicing them. More of seeing the true effects of the curses.

After she was finished with her small declaration, she looked back down at her plate and started to eat. After the exciting events of the train and sorting, she was ravenous.

Is sand "sand" because its between sea and land?

The small girl walked to the Gryffindor table. She was excited for being in the house she wanted.  She however, was more excited about seeing people over talking. She preferred hiding behind a book. Her favorite being Hogwarts: A History. She watched everyone talk to their friends, or first years meeting their friends. She felt out of place, despite being happy. "No wonder you can't get friends easily, Sophie. You never talk!" She, Sophie hissed at herself, despite people being around. She didn't want someone to call her out on it, yet it felt natural and easy. It calmed her.
"Gryffindor.. I'll have to send mum a letter. She'll be happy." Sophie trailed off, Her emerald eyes scanning the table, and the Professors. She stared at them, excitement flowing through her veins once more. 'You can learn magic from all these wonderful witches and wizards! You get to even use magic when you're here! What's the fuss?' Her thoughts yelled at her, which happened quite a lot, she never payed attention anyway. She finally noticed the food in front of her. She quickly grabbed anything in reach and began eating. The food was wonderful, but she didn't eat much, her stomach wasn't used to most food, and she was fine with obeying it.
"Whelp.. Maybe After this I can read some more books.." She muttered, in fact, She planned it. She smiled at her own little plan, it was her favorite of them all.

Goodbye lovelies!

Once sorted, the young boy found himself between Sophie and Emily. He was relieved to finally be sorted, but amused to find himself almost completely surrounded by girls. He wasn't the type to mind, of course, as girls were smart and could help him out, too. Not that he was interested in any of them. He was much too young for that. He scanned the others before looking at the food. He was starving, but forced himself to wait as he turned to Sophie, instead. "You like to read?" He asked, trying to stir up a conversation other than the incredibly ridiculous one happening across the table from him. "What kind of books do you like?" He asked, wondering if small talk was something he was good at.

Having started a conversation, the boy turned to the food. Grabbing just a small amount of each thing, he forced himself to eat slowly and properly. He had been raised with good manners, and just because he was away from his family didn't mean he could just pig out. He took a small bite of mashed potato and glanced about with his brown eyes, wondering if it would be difficult to make friends with the others in his house, and even worse, those in other houses. He had heard about the rivalry, but didn't really understand it. Friendly competition was one thing. Hatred was another.
