Swan might be raised in a world of wizard, in all his life, he loved one thing about muggle. Well, more specificly, he've never hated muggles, he loved them, but he was really, really fan of their music. Not chaotic pop songs; he was fan of rock of eighties. But since he was at Hogwarts, like he tought, anything was like he wanted. Or more about culture than anything. It was sad, but that was it. Life with or without magic.

But anyway, it was not this lack of music that would crush his passion. Like every day, he was waking up with a new old tube in his mind, and hum it all day long. When he was waking up happier than ever, he finished the classes and went straight to sing in the rehearsal room. His voice was quite of cute, but not the prettiest pf all, so to practice was his favorite thing, when he was not flying on his broom, or reading his favorite books.

On this afternoon, having nothing to do, he went directly to the library, with no intertainement idea. Sitting on a bench straight beside one of the big windows of the place, he was opening his books, and started his homeworks, looking at Quidditch's and Broom Race's practices. Too much entertainement, to much trouble... Of god, these homeworks are never going to end. He put his parchments in his bag, and sighed.

Before closing his bag, he took out a pack of cards that he must have put down not long ago. A smile appeared on his face, when he thought back to a song, and moreover, to a game... I don't want to be your friend, I just wanna be your lover... He've started, at the same time to start his house of cards. It was the like song, like the melody, like the coincidence. Forget about your house of cards, And I'll do mine...
OOC: This thread is open. ''House Of Cards'' is a Radiohead tube btw!

Lydia often found solace in the great library that Hogwarts hosted. While of course the Ravenclaw common room and the dorms were always open to her she often found them too busy to truly focus in. Too many people, too many conversations, and far too many questions. Sometimes...sometimes she just needed to go somewhere and turn her brain off for a little while. If she could've brought her ipod and headphones to school with her she would've but magick and technology were always a finnicky thing. It was better now, at least according to her dad, progress was being made but until technology was fully integrated at Hogwarts she was stuck without her music.

So, the library it was, where quiet was expected of everyone here. Classes had just started and she was already caught up on a good majority of her work so she had elected to bring one of her crochet projects down with her. It was a larger blanket made up of several color changes and already she was dreading having to weave all of the ends in but such was the price of crafting. Lydia had settled herself in the sill of one of the large windows in the library, all but laying in it due to its size. She'd spent a good portion of her day there already, breaking only for classes and lunch, but now she was back.
There were plenty of half-bloods and muggle borns at Hogwarts, the introduction of muggle culture was always spreading here but still that didn't mean Lydia was prepared to hear some random student start mumbling the lyrics to one of her mum's favorite songs. She blinked quite forcibly, setting her hook and project down in her lap as she turned her head round and round to find out where the song was coming from. "Fall off the table...and get swept under. Denial, denial." She finished the lyric off, stuttering slightly over the correct rhythm.

Finally her eyes settled upon a boy seated not too far from her. "That's Radiohead! How do you know that song? How do you know that band?" Her tone wasn't entirely accusatory but there was a bit of reservation in her voice. Hardly anyone even amongst her muggle friends knew that band or any of their songs, much less went about humming them in public.

Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
