Rodion MakarovichThe punch would have seemed harmless at first, but it seemed like Rodion had a right to be scared of its contents, for the next second Violet felt a attack of rage going up her throat and her brain. She wanted to hit the person beside her. Kill them, murder them with whatever was closer to her hand. Her face started to redden when memories of her backstory came, making her take off her shoes (heels) and wave them in the air. It wasn't a pretty sight, all the contrary, the usually ''cute'' slytherin would now be considered agressive to the people nearest of her and, for their safety, should leave her there, alone, with the punch.
Looking at her supposed to be date, she shot a terrible glare at the Russian boy, waving her high heeled shoe in the air as a threat. ''How dare you come here with such a repulsive outfit. Its a spring festival you....you jerk, you should be wearing something more formal than THAT,'' she screamed at the Koldovstoretz student, her eyes wide and a tear of rage glittering through her cheek. The last thing she felt was sadness, however, so she wiped it right away as she performed her next action.
Without even thinking about what was happening in this living hell, she threw one of her high heeled shoes directly to Rodion's face, without even a bit of pity towards him. She was clearly cursed, poisoned with the years of rage she had to let out of her heart and memories.Action: Throwing a shoe at RodionStamina: 6 Evasion: 8 Strength: 1 Wisdom: 10 Arcane: 2 Accuracy: 8

Rodion MakarovichAnastasia's drink wasn't normal either. In fact, it was one of the most unexpected drinks, for the last thing that Anastasia thought would happen at the ball would be to become insane. Well, thats exacly what happened to her, her drink had barely touched her lips that a pang of insanity went through her. Her hands started to shake, she didn't see the Underworld as she did before anymore, and that was even worse, for the Underworld was already dark and scary, but now,.. now it was scarier, darker. Ana dropped her glass of punch, which shattered on the floor into a billion pieces. Thank goodness it didn't fall on her feet, or the poor child would have hurt herself severly.
Next thing the Russian girl did was to whimper like a dog baby looking for its mother, crouching down to the floor while hugging her knees and rocking back and forward, muttering things that weren't to be distinguished by others around her. Her hands were now slightly black after putting them on the floor, and after putting them on her face, she felt the dirt now on her skin, for some reason it was comforting....but very slightly.
She wanted everyone to leave, she wanted to be alone, in the dark Underworld, with her sudden insanity as her only companion.Action: Rocking back and forth-? (technically no action except being insane ;-;)stamina 8 evasion 5 strenght 2wisdom 10 arcane power 3accuracy 5

"It's awfully dark here," Madeleine commented as she and Cassanora arrived at Hogwarts' Blossom Ball. Maddie had one arm hooked around Cass' and her other hand adjusted the wand she had pinned in her own bun. During the last Hogwarts ball she had been to, her wand had come in very handy. Although she hoped last time was a fluke, having her wand in her hair made it convenient to draw and made her feel better. And it looked cool, in Maddie's opinion.Regular Text - English | Bolded Text - French | Bolded Black Text - Japanese

The French girl looked around and instantly felt like this dance was not going to be as fun as she'd hoped. It was dark and drab and the music did not lend itself to dancing at all. The people in this area were talking - almost whispering - amongst themselves, and there was no clear dance floor indicated. There was even a corner of the courtyard that looked pitch black with a single blue flame that screamed ominous.
Madeleine didn't like this at all. The decorations were nice, just not the vibe she had been expecting. She thought this was an ancient Greek themed ball - there were meant to be white columns and green plants and gold accents and detailing. Her own outfit reflected her expectations. But instead, everything was dark and gave off such a serious feeling. The lighthearted feeling she entered the ball with was dwindling. No one had told her it was centered around the underworld. Her brown eyes briefly followed a couple of students walking straight through this dark area towards the Grounds. As she connected the dots that there was another area to go to, she released the breath she didn't realize she had been holding.
"Looks like there's another area," she said with a smile, using her free hand to gesture to the people she saw heading towards the Hogwarts grounds. Maddie released her friend's arm and turned to face her, the slight spin of her movement causing the skirt of her dress to twirl (her subconsciously intended effect).
"Do you want to go there? Or maybe the trials interested you?" Maddie asked, tilting her head slightly in anticipation of an answer. When they had entered the ball, the concept of the trials had been explained to them. Six trials to be crowned in a royal court for the ball and basically bragging rights, proving you could do all of the trials better than others. The only part of it that interested Maddie was the idea of getting to wear a crown, but it really wasn't motivating enough for her to risk dirtying her dress, even if there was a spell to fix it. "Or did you want to stay here?" Maddie could not hide her thoughts on this last option, as her eyes cast another disappointing look around at the dark and dimly-lit area.

"You're an idiot. You know that?" The part-giant growled under his breath as he bared his teeth in front of his much smaller friend. His sideburns sticking out in pointy ends and his hair equally split in two points, held together by a healthy dose of gel. His face was a dark red from all the blood pulsing through his veins. "You told me they wanted GREASE." His hand grabbed the collar of Galton's jacket as the boy was slowly lifted in the air. "Look around you! IT'S GREECE! ANCIENT GREECE!"
Hugh would shake his friend out of frustration, but felt himself unable to really hurt him. "I swear, if you would not have been dressed in the same bloody get up, I'd have squeezed the candy back out of that little neck of yours." Folding both arms, the large Gryffindor growled as he looked around. Almost like an animal cornered, he started pacing next to Galton after putting him back down. "Explain to me why I listened to you in the first place? You're always one to get things weird in your head." He huffed another breath before burying his face in his hand.
"Lets just get this over with. We're likely to get more eyes on us than usually with these jackets. I don't seem to recall Troy being conquered with a flashy white car, switch-blade combs and musical numbers." Whatever drink Galton was having, Hugh grabbed it out of Galton's hands and finished it himself. "A drink's the least you owe me after this fiasco..."
Action: Drink up Galton's drink. Which is all the punches combined.

A small patter of shoes scraped the cobblestone, the figure pausing every now and then before starting to walk again. The girl looked timid and for a good reason. There were no walls, she didn't know how to dance and didn't even know where her date was or what she looked like. How in Helga Hufflepuff would she figure this out. Annie's first step was finding a person, anyone to give her directions to Callie, or perhaps someone who knew her.
And that's exactly what happened. More or less Annie smacked into a random kid, seemed like a first year perhaps. She profusely apologized and after the kid seemed to shuffle back and tell her it was fine she stood up straight and asked for help. Of course, the kid asked her what her date was wearing since they didn't know her by name. Annie's best guess was some sort of white flowy garment like the majority of other people, unlike her. Her laced up boots and green elven-type dress with a leather corset stood out just a bit, but not in a bad way. Instead, she described Callie from memory and what Callie herself had told her. Shorter than her but just by an inch or so, long dark hair, bright small eyes and pretty cute. She didn't mention the last part, just said it mentally to herself. The kid seemed to glance around and point out a person that possibly was Callie. Annie got excited and thanked her before heading over and weaving her way through people in the direction she was given. She collected herself with a deep breath and hugged the hopefully not stranger behind the back. Feeling warmth, she was glad she didn't just hug the cool air but her body tensed up, still unsure if this was Callie or not. "..Callie?" She asked quietly, still keeping her grasp on the figure.

His golden-brown gaze wandered from the floor to people's faces trying to spot a familiar one. There were more people now it seemed. Time had passed slowly of course but his patience remained, or at least he didn't show too much irritation besides his small frown and flicking the hair out of his eyes occasionally. After another flick of his bouncy, blonde curls out of his eyes, he spotted something, or someone per say. The figure strode courageously over to him and he shifted his posture, trying to look more presentable.
He found himself admiring the girl, but not in a creepy up and down sizing her up type way. She teased him and asked him if he had been waiting too long and he replied with a small chuckle himself. "Net, net, ne slishkom dolgo, ya yeshche ne splyu, net?" (1) Eh.. maybe that was a small lie but he would wait for hours just for her if it came to it. He closed his eyes as a small breeze ruffled his hair, hands tightly closed in his pockets. The evening had started off normal but it wouldn't remain this way so he better enjoy it while he can. Milosh re-opened his eyes just as Katherine went to compliment him on his choice of clothing.
"Mne skazali, chto ya vyglyazhu tak, kak budto sobirayus' na plyazh, khotya ya by predpochel eto ... chto by tam ni bylo." (2) He gestured to the white robe looking things others were wearing. There was no way someone could think that looked good on a body? Maybe some people could pull it off but even if he could have, it would've been cold, even for someone who lived in Norway with it's harsh winters. The taller boy shrugged. He paused thinking of what to do next, a blank expression crossing his face. A lightbulb filled his head, he hadn't complimented her outfit yet! Girls liked that right? "Vy priderzhivayetes' svoyey temnoy natury, a, miss D'yavol? Ne mogu skazat', chto eto tebe ne podkhodit. Mne eto nravitsya." (3) A small laugh escaped him after calling her the nickname he came up with again.
The boy figured no more small talk and bent down swiftly to lightly kiss Katherine's hand. He tilted his head upwards at her, his golden-brown eyes flickering like a dangerous fire. A small smirk made it's way onto his lips, still in the bent position he let out a husky whisper. "YA nadeyus', chto d'yavol umeyet tantsevat', pozvol'te mne pokazat' vam, na chto sposoben etot Padshiy angel." (4) Milosh rose back to his normal height and extended his soft, tanned hand which radiated a comforting warmth hoping to gain a reaction from Katherine. She didn't know what she had gotten herself into, and yes she wasn't the only one who could flirt.
Time for an.. entertaining and interesting night.

"Oh, well, all that time was worth it, it's a completely awesome costume. I don't think I'll dance either, it's not really my cup of tea." Tory responded, "Thank you, I uh- I tried." . She glanced back around at her fellow partygoers, wondering what the trials would be like. Dangerous? Hopefully not.. She thought to herself. Hard? Better not be, I'm not exactly equipped to climb Mount Everest right now. She wasn't paying attention to whatever Aldor and Henry were up to, lost in her thoughts, until she heard her name. ''Would that be alright, Tory?" Was all she had heard, but she just trusted whatever she was agreeing to, "Yeah, sure, I don't mind." , Mirroring Aldor's nervous-looking smile.
Henry than spoke, and his words almost made Tory spit out her drink that wasn't even there. "Um, no, I'm not his date, or anything." Ick. Just saying the words 'date' and 'I'm' in the same sentence made Tory sick, she absolutely hated any forms of romance. Not for other people, of course, you do what you want, but for herself, she could never see herself having a date. Like ever.
A new girl had now appeared by the older boy, one who also looked notably older than Aldor and Tory. Henry turned to the unknown girl, said something, and then looked back at young lion and badger and asked if they wanted to go to the next location togethere, then saying something about...robins? The lion just nodded. "I was planning to go to the next place, but I don't mind going alone if none of you guys want to come with." She cast a clance at each of them, then giving a small smile to Aldor and walking away through the crowds, off towards the first Hero Trial. She wished herself good luck, as nobody else had.

It seemed like the Slytherin princess had a bad mood. He wondered what caused them. If he wasn’t playing the good guy part, he would have put her grumpy self in the drink fountain. Violet seemed to hate the nickname Rodion gave her, no one would blame her for that. He took it as an insult to his soul and pride, but of course, hidden behind his smile. “Sorry about that, at least now I know you did not like it.” He kept throwing his drink over his shoulder so casually, this time, with a target in mind. Luka Volkov. That untoned, probably fake yellow blonde hair that stole the love of his life. Violet’s question left unanswered as he focused on trying to get the poor oblivious and extroverted boy drenched in whatever that liquid was. And, he partially succeeded. Luka was not soaked, but at least half of his hair and face were wet. “Yes!”
Apparently, there was no time for celebration for Rodion as the devil finally reveal themselves in the form of his date, waving her heels in the air for no apparent reason. “Whoa, you crazy psycho hag! Put it down!” How dare she said that his outfit was repulsive (it was, not gonna lie). This girl surely did not know anything about fashion style. But his date was full in rage mode, not even gave him the chance to explain what kind of style he was wearing, heels coming towards his face to ruin his source of charm. To make it even more dramatic, the underworld went into slow motion mode. Not too far from where he stood, Anastasia was acting out of character. The usually brave and confident girl turned into a scared kid. Somehow it reminded him of that moment in the forest when he was a kid.
A decision was made within a split second. Abandoning the fuming Slytherin and her flying heels, succeed or not, it did not matter to him. He ran towards Ana and crouched beside her and said. “Ana, you’re okay, everything is going to be fine, you are the bravest person I know, just breath in and out slowly, breath in and out slowly.” He tried to guide her out from whatever dreadful feeling she was currently feeling as he breathed in and out himself, hoping she would follow him. That was the least he could do to help someone he cares about. If the cursed heels hit his face, probably he will have this nasty heels print bruise on his face for the rest of the night, or maybe a week. His goal that time was to calm Anastasia, with or without his bruiseless face.

Blossom Ball - Underworld
Mm, ah yes... the Blossom Ball. It had become a tradition for her and her other half, @Scott Alexander, to attend the annual spring ball together, but last year it had ended in catastrophe. And honestly, it had kind of ruined balls and dances for Ami since then, especially after the hot mess that was whatever the Masquerade was. Sure, she had appreciated the adventure, but her pride had been severely wounded when she had nearly been beaten by a stupid chest and a little girl. So this year, she and Scott had decided to take a slightly more laid-back approach. Sure, their outfits still matched, but they weren't exactly planning to go all out. They had decided to go as the twin Olympians, Artemis and Apollo, which Ami thought was pretty fitting. She didn't know much about Greek mythology, but she did at least know that Apollo represented the sun, and that Artemis spent her life running wild through the woods with a whole group of girls. Sounded like a lesbian's paradise to her. The white cloth surrounding her body matched Scott's, and her silver jewelry would compliment his gold accessories, but other than that, they were pretty basic.
In fact, they hadn't even really made any solid plans about how they were going to meet up. She didn't know if she preferred this more lax behavior and attitude, but it was certainly a nice change of pace for now. As she sidled up to the entrance of the ball, her nose crinkled at the smell of all that teenage angst in the air, noting that the dress code seemed a little... vague on the intended formality of its guests' outfits. She could've sworn that she had spotted someone in just a bedsheet as a toga (which really gave off more Roman vibes than Greek), but her eyes were probably deceiving her. Awkwardly adjusting her own unfamiliar and mildly uncomfortable silver jewelry, she glanced around for a familiar face.
No? Nothing?
Even Scott didn't seem to be here, yet. Ami vaguely nodded along as some unknown stranger explained the concept of the Trials to her, not really paying them any mind as they spoke... but the words "King/Queen" caught her attention. "Say that again?" she said quickly, the gears in her head turning oh so quickly. The thought of being able to be crowned as literal royalty, well... if anything could impress Alexx, that certainly could. Plus, money was also nice. Glancing around to triple check that Scott had not yet arrived, Ami would dash off to one of the Trials. She might as well do something productive before her best friend showed up, right?

Leaving to go participate in the trials.

Eris began to smile sympathetically when the boy (Levi), in a panic, raised his hands to his head, only to have his nails come away as red as his hair. Her smile matured into soft giggles when the clearly panicked student suddenly insisted that his hair had always been red, rapidly concealing his hands behind his back.
"Oh...? Is that so?" she asked, first looking back at the photographs in her hand and then up again at the boy. "That's not what my photographs tell me." The black-haired girl lifted the photo-fan to reveal a few seconds' worth of a glimpse as to what they depicted. Once she was satisfied they had been seen, Eris collected them back together in a neat stack and slipped them into a hidden fold in the sash of her dress.
Then, leaning over, she whispered in his ear. "If you want these photos, I suggest you visit the Caretaker's office some time." That said, she pulled back and beamed at the ginger-haired girl accompanying the boy.
"Not normal? I mean, there's always a chance someone spilled punch all over him. Or performed that hair-color-changing spell when he wasn't looking. You never know," Eris told her, shrugging with a merry grin. "If you're so eager to head out, though, be careful of Kissy-Lips. I think I saw him headed the same way," she cautioned, nodding in the direction of the grounds where the Spring Festival was being held.

A BALL. A fricken ball. The problem? Paige had seriously considered asking Rhea to go with her. And chickened out. Ever since that day. That class. What had happened? Well, much blushing, stuttering, and the feeling to get Rhea to like her is what happened. From Paige.
She never cares what people think of her. That was kind of her thing. But Rhea?
She was different. She was... well, herself. And Paige liked that about her. She liked her. No. She liked her. She finally figured it out. Just thinking about it made her face blush red.
Well, enough of her regrets. It was time to enter the ball. The greek ball. The death-themed ball.
Paige hadn't bothered to wear a dress. Actually, she didn't want to wear a dress. She decided to screw the greek thing and wear a more "blossom" outfit. Except for the shoes. Paige loved the shoes.
When she entered she wasn't bothered by the fact she had no date. She was bothered that she hadn't asked Rhea to go with her. But now that she was here, she had to drop it. She looked around. From the corner of her eyes, she could see fires dancing, and she could hear them whispering, almost as if they were taunting her. Daring her. But that would have to be ignored.
Because she spotted Rhea Miller.
