It was a big loss for losing their best Chaser, Greta. But he wouldn't blame Espen for accidentally knocking her off the broom. It was those Badgers' fault. And how long are they going to keep on being "meat shields" for their puny seeker? This is slightly getting very annoying! Kolya growled with that thought on his mind and glared at the girl who got saved once again by one of her other teammates who looked older and obviously stronger. He was certain the one who saved her after getting rid of the first one could be a Beater like him and Slave. Compared to them, Kolya and Slava might not be as tall or well-build like those Hogwarts' Beaters but they were still strong and skillful in their own way. Their determination would prove that they were better than them. At this point, Kolya decided not to care too much about failing because he wouldn't stop until all fell to the ground.

What was even going on anymore? She hated this. With every single fiber of being. She was losing track of the play, the game and... her mind at this point. There was a limit to how much someone could handle a barrage of attacks. This game had long exceeded that limit. No. It was not even a "game" anymore. This was war. This was an attack and nothing short of that. Almost every single player on the opposing team chose to attack, even cheating to do so, just to knock her off her broom.

First someone came for her and Annie. The most amusing part of this game? The fact that the Durmstrang chaser missed them and ended up hitting their solo act Chaser. If Serena was not in so much pain, she would have laughed. It was kind of hilarious just because their cheating had taken down their own player. It was karma, at the very least - if only for a moment. But it was hilarious. Maybe once she had recovered from the bludgers she had taken and the amount of times she had fallen, she would spend hours laughing. But for now, she groaned in pain as they swayed side to side and attempted to dodge everything else happening.

First she fell with Annie. Rosie caught her. Then she had to fall again, this time watching one of her closest friends fall alongside her.

As she fell for the - third? Fourth? Who knew at this point - time there was a moment's hope that maybe... just maybe... she would hit the ground and end this horrible nightmare of a game. Alas, Reid Kovacs had another plan in mind. He caught her midair. Serena's attention snapped to the boy who grabbed her, hauling her onto the back of his broom.

Her teary eyes closed for a moment as she rested her forehead onto his back as he spoke. He was right, she did know what was going to happen. She was going to have to watch him fall too now. She was going to have to watch everyone around her fall, taking the hit for her.

Getting hit by a bludger hurt. Getting knocked off to the ground hurt. But what hurt more than that? Watching your friends, your teammates take hits for you. Watching them get hurt for you, because of you. If she wanted to end this... there was only two options. Catch the snitch or hit the ground. That was the only solution. This was not flattering as Reid said. Perhaps it should have been. Durmstrang were only going for her because they considered her a threat. If they believed in their own Seekers half as much as they believed in her, they would focus on getting the snitch themselves instead of trying to stop her.

She smiled softly as he spoke. Reid had saved her life once already. If there was anyone she trusted in this field, it was him. Whatever happened, at least they were doing it together. Focus. She had to focus. This was their last chance. They were all depending on her.

Jack's words echoed in the pitch. He was right. Her teeth gritted together.

The entire team were depending on her. For Quinn, Saskia, Serena, Annie and Rosie... For every single one, she had to stay focused. She had to keep her head in the game until it was over. One way or another, this game was going to end soon. It was only a matter of time. She wiped her teary face with the back of her hand as her resolve strengthened once more, the tears being streaked onto her cheeks as though it were war paint.

This was war. They were the badger army. Whatever happened next, they were doing it together. And nothing, nothing beat that. They had something that Durmstrang could not even touch. They were loyal, they were a team and they played for each other - not for themselves. Even if she failed now, she had to die trying. That was all she could do, "Let's do this." Her tone of voice was low, and full of anger. She was pissed.

There was nothing she wanted more than this hell to be over. She either had to catch that snitch or die trying. That was all there was to it. At this point, she just wanted it to be over.

Slava watched as his team's Chasers launched attack after attack at the poor Hufflepuff Seeker. She was a threat and the entire team seemed to be united in their goal to take her out, but it didn't make Slava feel good. She was just a kid like the rest of the players out here, trying to participate in a game. Could they lay off on the extreme offense? She had a high chance of catching the Snitch and winning the game for Hogwarts if they did, but perhaps it would be more fun all around. Everyone seemed... frustrated. The Durmstrang players were annoyed because they couldn't succeed in getting this girl out of play, and the Hogwarts players were likely annoyed as well because Durmstrang was trying everything in their power to prevent her from helping her team win.

He saw the Hufflepuff players go down one by one as they were hit—one of them because of him, even. The hesitation might have been briefly visible as he glanced at Kolya, who was continuing to look furious, but it was gone in an instant. Hadn't he just vowed to himself that he would stop with this hesitation? He had still hit his mark, but was it worth it? They might have a chance of winning this game, but at what cost? Greta had gone down, hit by Espen when one of the Hogwarts students dodged at the last second. He grimaced slightly as he readied himself for the next play.

Effect: On a full hit with a bludger, if the user is knocked off their broom there is a 25% chance that the broom is shattered as well. If the broom is shattered, the opponent will not be able to use the broom for the duration of the Quidditch match (they do not lose their broom permanently, they would repair it off-screen later). If they are caught by an ally, they would have no broom to return to and would have to ride with an ally or remain on the ground for the duration of the game. There are some two-player moves where a player can share a broom but this is still a devastating loss for a team.

A feeling of excitation and disappointment swept over May as she saw their seeker being attacked a lot of times, always by the Durmstrang team, and like the commentator said, Durmstarng was in the lead. May looked at Willow, and, well....this girl seemed bored. But May couldn't blame her. That chaser was too good, she had to admit.

Then...she saw it. Her friend, Serena Bowen, falling with her captain Quinn Healy. NO! She had to scream, for she had taken a immense liking to this girl, skipping curfew together. At least the game had not finished....

Atlas clenched her jaw closed as she realized it had been agape for some time. Durmstrang was ruthless, cheating clowns and she could feel her heartbeat racing in her chest as one by one she saw her teammates and close friends fall from their brooms. She had known going into this that Durmstrang was going to be an aggressive team but she had never considered this level of dirty playing.

Her only solace was the thought that Durmstrang must have been so intimidated by the Puffs that they felt it necessary to cheat every round just to stay on top. Everyone had always under Hufflepuffs but their loyalty and determination knew no bounds and they would fight to the bitter end to prove it.

As Reid caught Serena, Atlas could feel her chest getting heavy. She felt useless watching everyone she cared about getting hurt. She wanted to race through the stadium and slam into one of the Durmstrang members just to show them what it felt like. But her team didn't need more chaos right now. They needed motivation, excitement and positivity and as hard as those concepts were right now she needed to try for everyone who had gotten brutally injured in the game.

Taking in a few deep inhales and exhales, Atlas stood back up on the bench as she cupped her hands around her mouth screaming for her team. "PUFFS! PUFFS! PUFFS! COME ONNNN! WE GOT THIS JUST HANG ON!" She yelled knowing tomorrow she would most likely have no voice, but that was for future Atlas to worry about. For now, all she cared about was winning and it was still anyone's game.

His eyes were locked onto his target. The game had been going on for too long with little progress except for many wonderful goals made by Greta. If only he could take out the other teams seeker, it might give Ella more time to find the snitch for Durmstrang. Taking off towards where the girl was sharing a broom, he made a direct line for the pair. As he approached, the distance drawing ever closer he braced for impact. SMACK! He felt the impact he desired, but realized suddenly what had happened. "Nein, nein, nein, nein, nein! This cannot happen! Oh Odin." By some miracle the pair had dodged him at the last minute and he knocked Greta off her broom, who was also of the mindset to blatch the rival seeker. He dove down to try and save the girl but was unable. She was already too far down; already too close to the ground. He watched her hit the ground. What have I done? A look crossed his face, one that was mixed with shock, anger, and hurt. I am so sorry Greta. I will make it up to you! There was no more time to waste, the game was reaching an end and he still had work to do.

This was a disaster. People were going after Serena (@Serena Towers) left and right. Even Durmstrang's chaser Greta (@Evelynn Decipio) had given up trying for the quaffle in favor of trying to knock Serena from her broom! She got poetic justice by getting blatched by one of her own teammates, but it was still heart wrenching for Aaron to watch another two of Hogwarts' players go down - @Annie Morgan and @Rosie Parker, both his fellow chasers. They could have been extremely helpful in trying to even the score, but obviously their priorities had to go towards protecting their battered and bruised seeker. Aaron was getting so mad at the blatant disregard for fouls and cheating that he actually heard himself curse under his breath. His eyes widened slightly at the realization - then they narrowed to focus in on the other team. They needed to learn their lesson - which is that Hogwarts Quidditch Team would prevail despite Durmstrang's lousy strategy. It was now or never. Aaron got back into position, hoping their next play would pay off.
