Summer Camp '22 Prank War II

Louca had enthusiastically jumped into the planning of the prank, not wanting to be left out, and making sure that his ideas had been heard. He didn’t know who had put forward the current plan, namely googly eyes on everything and then up to the ceiling it went but it was excellent! Being a new second-year, Louca had volunteered to help levitate the objects and left the googly eye gluing to the younger students. Although it felt weird calling them younger when he was only a year older. At the same time, that meant he knew a whole year’s worth of spells over and above what the new students currently did.

Creeping along with the group, Louca glanced around cautiously, partially laughing before stifling it. He could only imagine what they looked like. His dark brown hair mostly blended in while with the night and he had made sure to wear his black jeans and a dark sweatshirt to blend in a bit more. He was glad that he was just following the others, knowing that he would have gotten lost in the sea of tents.

Coming to a halt, Louca let the other students enter, before he did so, figuring it was better to give the younger students a bit of a head start so he wasn’t just standing around. Plus he could keep an eye out for the return of the Horntail Horde. That was an awesome name. Taking one last peek around, Louca ducked into the tent, and moved to a corner where it seemed that items had already been googly eyed. Taking his wand out, he whispered as he cast the Levitation Charm, carefully placing the items somewhere where it could get caught in the tent rigging..

Bubba had literally all of the glitter. Not some of it, all of it. Bubba had split off from his fellow Green Sea tent mates and was prowling between the tents like a thief in the night. His silent footsteps made no noise until he tripped over a tent pole and caught himself. Resuming his crouched position, he continued his stealthy approach to the Durmstrang tent before finally slipping inside to see that EmmaLee and Louca were already hard at work. Louca was wingardiuming his leviosa to put all the furniture that wasn't nailed down up on the ceiling. EmmaLee was only a first year so she had the easier task of putting googly eyes over everything.

While they were performing their tasks, Bubba had one of his own. Bubba's job was to spread glitter as far and wide as he could over the tent. He then had a special surprise for the first person who returned to the tent. For the time being, he was using his bag of glitter and sprinkling it all over everything, like a chef seasons the finest of meals. He would occasionally throw some of the stuff in the air as well just to see if he could coat what was already on the ceiling

As he was going through and checking out the bunks that weren't already on the ceiling, Bubba found the only one that looked like a girl had been sleeping in it. He knew that Greta was staying in this tent. He had only met her once, at the barbeque, but she'd seemed nice. He also found the way that she couldn't handle any spice whatsoever kind of cute. He decided to have a poke around to make sure it was hers. The blanket was made up to make it look like a fort. He stuck his head inside and found a stuffed kneazle. Under the pillow, he found what looked like a diary. He opened it just enough to see that it was hers, he didn't read any of it. That would've been very rude and pranks aside he wouldn't want anyone looking through his stuff.

He decided to handle her bunk himself. He sprinkled a liberal amount of glitter onto the bed and the stuffed kneazle. Then he opened the front cover of the diary and carefully used the glitter to write the word "Spicy" on the first page in cursive and he made a little glitter heart below it. He carefully shut the diary so as to not disturb the glitter. He then left everything to wait for Louca or someone else to levitate it to the ceiling.

Once he had finished glitterizing the rest of the tent, Bubba returned to the entrance. He took out two extra tent posts he'd found and drove them into the ground on either side of the tent flap just on the inside of the tent. He then carefully levitated one more tent post directly over the right tent post he'd driven into the ground at height of the ceiling. He then levitated one final tent post to the ceiling directly behind the tent flap just on the inside. Bubba then took out a second bag of glitter and tied a thief's knot around it using a roll of twine. He looped the twine over the flap tent pole and looped it around the ceiling right pole followed by looping it around the tent post on the right that he'd driven into the ground. Once everyone else had completed their tasks and left the tent, Bubba ran the twine over the threshold of the tent and tied another thief's not. He checked to make sure it was set up right and made good his escape. If he'd set his glitterbomb up right the first person to step in would trigger his tripwire and the thief's knot around the glitter bag would untie, causing it to fall open and shower the person entering the tent with glitter.

"Alright... this is your time to shine..." Ramzy took a deep breath as she looked at the cloth of the tent with one of her small fists filled with googly eyes and the other with fine-spun glitter she pushed through the flap of the door and inside. Already she was met with the sight of other wizards and witches from her tent enchanting and sticking things against anything and everything they would find.

Ramzy could almost fill a bubbling feeling filling her chest, the thought of doing something even slightly out of the ordinary made her heart soar. Without trying to waste any more time her feet moved to their own accord as she practically flew across the room and a bed post that was yet to be covered in these strange sticky eyes she was handed just before coming into the tent. She pushed the plastic bit against the furniture and was surprised to see that they were staying without any form of magic. 'Must be muggle stuff...' Ramzy thought to herself as she bustled past the other first years and upperclassmen to get her part completed in a timely fashion. "Time to make my stand!!! For Green Sea Conspira-sea!"

Let the games begin!

Jamie bounded into the tent, perfectly primed for pranking. He and the rest of the Green Sea members had snuck over in the dead of night, in order to carry out their master plan. A plan that he was oh so proud to be a part of.

His teammates had already sprung into action. Louca was floating stuff up to the tent's ceiling, EmmaLee was going nuts with the googly eyes, Bubba was shaking out glitter, and Stephen was filling the bathroom with bubbles (They were even oozing out from under the door! What a genius idea!).

Jamie grinned devilishly and wasted no time pulling out his wand.
He pointed its tip towards his chest. "Wingardium leviosa!" The cloth of his shirt immediately began to tug itself upwards. The redhead laughed gleefully, and proceeded to give his pants and shoes the same treatment.

Soon, Jamie was shakily rising into the air. He whooped in excitement, and snatched up a wooden chest as he went. The redhead rose higher and higher, until his head bumped against the ceiling. He clamped his wand between his teeth, before effortlessly flipping the chest upside down. Then, it only took a sticking charm from Miles to finish the job.

Jamie cackled, and zipped around the room to repeat the process. This was amazingly fun. What a rush!

"This is awesome! Keep it up, guys!" Jamie shouted. "Team Conspira-Sea for the win--ack!!" He choked as one of Stephen's magic bubbles forced its way back out of his throat. Jamie's spell broke, and he fell like a rock, landing face first on the floor with a hearty splat!

He immediately leapt back up again and dusted himself off. "They're gonna have no idea what hit them." he crowed, oblivious to the blood that was now slowly dripping from his nose.
"We got this in the bag, my dudes."

Moderation

Perpetrators Round 1: Team 8

The team wasted no time in demonstrating their strong teamwork in an all-out assault of the other team's tent. Working together, they were able to cause pure pandemonium in the tent to prove that they are to be feared and their mischief is to be respected!

The young @EmmaLee LeDames wanted to send the message that Team 8 is always watching. With a solid supply of googly eyes, EmmaLee was able to prove that you didn't need magic to cause mischief. All over the tent there would be googly eyes thanks to the efforts of EmmaLee. But she was not alone! @Ramzy Rossi also had a point to prove. With some glitter and googly eyes, Ramzy was able to help out the team by making sure there were eyes everywhere!

Louca Dufont (@Emma Wynn), Jamie Ziegler (@Gemima Sable), and Astrid Olsen (@Anastasia Varney) were able to whip out their wands and proved that they have been paying attention in class. The three would use the levitating charm to start levitating some of the belongings to the ceiling. Items all over the room would begin to float or aggressively fly up. Astrid was a little more reckless with her levitations and the items just sort of launched up to the top but it got the job done.

As items and belongings flew to the ceiling, Miles Thatcher (@Simon Kincaid) was able to successfully use the Epoximise spell to start sticking the items to the top of the tent. The weight of some of the luggage would make the ceiling bow slightly but it held well. It was almost like a beautiful decoration of the otherwise uninspired ceiling. Miles proved he was quite the sticky artist.

@Bubba McGarry, The Glitterlord, had other plans on his mind. While his peers floated things about, he sprinkled a bit of glitter throughout the tent, including leaving a little playful glitter message fro Greta. But there were more nefarious things to come. They decided they would show off their trap-building skills to make a Glitterbomb trap. It was a beautifully designed trap and showed real ingenuity in its mischievous application. But as they began to walk away, the tripwire got slightly caught on Bubba's clothing and prematurely erupted. It did a beautiful job painting the entrance of the tent and their own back. It showed that the trap would work if they were a bit more careful with their limbs.

While Bubba was blowing up their own trap, Stephen Schwartz (@AngelFyre McCubbin) was in charge of ruining the tent lavatory. Finding an interesting use for Bullarum Immortalem, Stephen was able to cast the spell but it wasn't quite a perfect casting but it got the job done. Slowly but surely, Stephen was able to fill the small quarters of the lavatory. Any who opened the door to it would be met by a small wave of non-bursting bubbles.

With glitter and googly eyes all over the place...and belongings on the ceiling, the team was able to make their getaway to leave the disheveled tent for the other team to discover. A small trail of glitter would follow the decorated Bubba.

• There will be the Perpetrator Phase and Victim phase for each round
• At the start of each round, one team will be designated the ‘Perpetrators’. Their job is to plot and prank the other tent/group. The Perpetrators will have one week to post any plotting and attempted pranks before there will be a Moderation post. This Moderation will roll to see the successes and failures of your pranks and stealth. (You don’t want to be found out!)
• Each member of the Perpetrators can either do an individual prank or work with teammates for larger pranks to improve the success rate and scale of the prank.
• The other group/tent will be designated as ‘The Victims’ of that round. After the moderation, the Victim team can react to the successful or failed pranks against them and begin plotting their own revenge. This Victim Phase will also receive one week.
• Once the Victim Phase ends, the team roles will swap and a new round will begin. So if Team A is the Perpetrator in Round One, Team A will be the Victims in Round Two.
• If supplies are needed for certain pranks, the Groundskeeper is happy to provide them with no questions asked for they are a strong supporter of creative expression.

Round 1: Victims Phase for Team 7

In this Victim Phase, the designated Victims of the round will be given an OC week to react to the successful and failed pranks done to them. They can also begin to plan their own retaliation pranks to start getting a bit of revenge.

There are no required actions during the Victim Phase, as it will be followed by Round 2's Perpetrator phase where the Victims of round 1 can do their pranks. However, if all of the Round 1 victims wish to post their prank action during this Victim phase, I will happily moderate it and bypass the additional week.

Perpetrators: Team 8

• The Perpetrators do not need to post in this phase and have no actions to take in the victim phase. However, you can post reaction posts to your successful pranks if you wish. They will not be moderated but can allow you some IC reactions. Otherwise your next post would be after being pranked.

Rules is Rules:

- As always, site rules and ratings will apply and clothing will be required at all times. Stats will also be required for the moderations, so make sure your trunk is up to date!…
- Please have your character stats listed either at the top or bottom of your posts for ease of moderation.
- The Moderation of this Phase will take place OCC in a week.
- The Groundskeeper wants plausible deniability. So if anyone asks...He did not supply you heathens with tools... Even if he did...
- Have fun, make friends, defeat rivals, and be pirates...
