Rowans wand is made up of 24,2 cm chestnut wood and unicorn hair thats reasonably springly, when they first got it from Olivander he said that the wand was gifted with healing properties and often reflected the insecurities of its wielder

Chestnut Wood, is attracted to witches and wizards who are skilled tamers of magical beasts, those who possess great gifts in Herbology, and those who are natural fliers. It is also said that it is known for “bringing success, luck, and love” to those chosen by them.

Unicorn Hair, it is usually said that Unicorn hair produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts.

Rowan's family usually comments on their relatively girlish features with their button nose pale skin, fair and gentle eyes, plump lips, and rosy cheeks. That was contrasted only by their unruly wavy hair, that falls in such a way that it perfectly frames their face. However despite their girlish outward features Rowan has a well built lean body that they got from training with their father and occasional marathons they would have around the neighborhood with their older brother.

However despite Rowans determination and how much they value training, Rowan was unfortunately born with a blood maledictation that was placed on one of their ancestors but only researfaced with them after a millennia. The magical illness however made their body prone to sickness and injury making their body weak and unable to do much that require physical strength. They were bedridden for most of their life yet they never stopped longing to be free and to one day see and experience the world they were robbed of because of their sickness.

Rowan is generally introverted and likes to keep to themself, but they also have a strong sense of justice and like to help people as much as they can despite their introverted-ness. They also like to engage themselves in philosophical topics and debates. And they often ponders what it means to be human in magic society and the burdens they make to protect those who are unaware of magic and mages. Rowan is also pretty studious and enjoy reading various books and getting lost in the stories they tell. They are doting to their younger sibling and is often protective over her. And despite their faults their siblings always drive them to grow and be greater despite all the struggles and setbacks.

PART I: PARENTS

Rowan was born into a family of wizards. Their father Fyodor Nikolaevna was from a renowned and powerful clan called the Nikolaevna clan. From a young age he was trained by his father who was especially strict with manners and set a high standard for Fyodor since a young age, and when Fyodor had Rowan and his siblings those same teachings of his father bled through in how Rowans father acted and disciplined them and their siblings. Meanwhile their mother Hinata Suzuki was once powerful sorceress and potion maker that hailed from Mahoutokoro. She was exceptionally smart and top of her class, being one of the few to wear a Gold robe their whole time at school. When they grew up they both took jobs at the ministry of magic, Hinata became a Court scribe, while Fyodor became a lawyer for the ministry of magic. Their first few years in the ministry were consisted of stumbling over themselves trying to find their footing in the wizarding world. However in this haze of pride and hospitality they found love where they never thought they would. After meeting Fyodor Hinata decided that he was the one and chose to settle down with him in a quaint home in Cardiff, Wales.

PART II: CHILDREN

Rowan was born as the middle child of Fyodor Nikolaevna and Hinata Suzuki. His older brother Rwen Nikolaevna was only 3 years older than them yet it was clear their parents favored Rwen over the Rowan. Rowan didnt get along with their brother, they often fought over their parents attention and got into squabbles about whose better. In many ways Rwen was Rowans rival and being at each others throats 24/7 was an unspoken rule between them between since they were younger. However Rwen was their sibling and it was hard to stay mad at somebody you feel a close connection to for very long. Despite their bickering Rwen would always help Rowan when it came to things they couldn't do because of their magical illness. when heavy lifting needed to be done Rwen would always volunteer even if he was in a bad mood that day. When Rowan was bedridden during Christmas (which they often were because of their illness) Rwen would take the time to write 'get better soon' in the snow outside Rowan's bedroom window. Those little things, and the tender times between Rowan and their brother were the first times they genuinely felt accepted and loved. When Rowan came out as Agender and Bisexual it was Rwen who first accepted. However 5 years later Rowan's younger sister Zia was born. Zia was the sweet and took after Hinata when it came to how caring and supportive she always was, even if she didn't fully know what it was about, all she knew was that she was defending her family. Zia would always try to defend Rowan even though she's usually younger than most of their foes. Likewise Rowan always made sure to be there for Zia whenever she needed them, (even if it was only to play dolls) and when Rowan needed her, Zia made sure to show her support for her older sibling in everyway she can. Even the crude Rwen cant resist the charms of his younger sister. Often times Rowan would pass by the living room and have to hold their laughter as little Zia would be playing makeup with Rwen.

PART III: ROWAN

Rowan loves their siblings very much, however they also value their personal alone time from the hustle and bustle of his siblings. During these quiet times Rowan liked to find a quiet place in their mansion (usually the attic as its usually well lit and far away from any commotion their siblings make.) They would usually go there with a cup tea and a few books. They enjoyed reading very much because it allowed their imagination to run wild. They would often imagine himself in their world, walking through the busy streets and climbing their extravagant mountains. Rowan loved to adventure, the thrill he got from exploring made then feel powerful, like he could do anything. Except the magical illness they were born with made it nigh impossible to actually adventure out. So when he received the letter from Hogwarts it was their biggest opportunity to finally explore beyond their mansion. Books always held a special place in Rowans heart. It also served the purpose of distracting Rowan whenever they was bedridden because of sickness, it allowed them an escape from reality and soon they found themself picking up a quill and paper and begining to write, trying to capture the same feeling their books had with the words they put on paper. Soon writing became not just a hobby, but something therapeutically that they did to calm down. They found that putting words and feelings onto paper was much easier than saying these same feelings out loud. and thus writing and poetry have been a key factor in what made Rowan the way they are now.

FIRST INSTANCE OF MAGIC:

When Rowan was 4 years old they were playing with their brother in the kitchen and their brother knocked down a tray of knives causing one of the knives to launch into the air and fall down on Rowan making them believe this is how they would die. However when Rowan looked at where the knife was supposed to stab him he didn't see a pool of blood; instead he saw the knife hovering in the air inches above where he it was supposed to impale him. In panic Rowan stumbled back, and the very next moment the knife fell to the floor with a thud.
