If I'm understanding your question correctly, to change your shop layout or theme, you can re-code the first page and then post an announcement on the topic to let customers know. Otherwise, you do have the ability to close a shop, but it's not the most efficient way to do it. Yes, but my locked shop would still be somewhere realtively up front, so that wouldn't be fair.. Ig I'll just change the first page...
