Secret Blossom Ball

Now, obviously, she wouldn't be a drag queen. That simply didn't abide by the rules of drag, and besides, Scott had already done that last year. No, she'd be a drag king, complete with a whole new persona. She'd call him... his name would be Chad. It had to be Chad, there was no other option that would satisfy her insatiable need to be a fratboy.
But all drag names had to have a last name... and this is where she kind of ran into a problem. Her own last name was already a literal nightmare, so she had already spent 14 years of her life wishing for a different one. But when it came to finding the perfect surname for her alter ego, Ami found herself at a loss. Really, she found herself quite preoccupied with this pressing matter, especially the few days leading up to the ball itself. Ami had gone through every basic, American last name she could think of, from Chad Smith to Chad Chadson. But nothing really seemed just right, nothing seemed to click. She had all the pieces of the puzzle that was her drag persona, except for a stupid last name.
Honestly, she was rather proud of herself for the outfit that she'd created for her drag debut at the ball. She'd even kept it a secret from Scott, which was no simple matter, because she normally never hid anything from her best friend. The first item she got was, of course, the jacket. The theme of the whole ensemble was "royalty", since she was going to be a king. Brilliantly gold, and extremely flashy, Ami knew that it was perfect the second she opened the package. The pants were easy, she had just grabbed an old pair of her dress pants and turned a deep purple, which she supposed reflected the deep purple that royalty of the olden age loved to wear. A pair of dress shoes turned a flashy, metallic gold would sparkle brilliantly, even at night and in the grass of the Quidditch pitch. Finally, she of course needed a hat for her to hide her hair under. After all, it was short, but not short enough where she could pass for a king. The hat was probably her favorite part of the whole ensemble, if she was honest. A dark purple top-hat looking thing, with several roses and feathers for that extra bit of flourish... well, there was no doubt about it. She looked as close to the real deal as a 14-year-old could get.
Of course, make-up was a whole other problem she had to tackle. The night of the ball that definitely wasn't happening, Ami had already had her booty planted in front of a mirror for an hour, trying to make her face as manly as possible. Thank goodness her dorm room was equipped with all types of makeup for her to use. After an hour, Ami finally ended up with a face that was manly enough for her to be satisfied with. A highly-accentuated jawline and carved out cheekbones, along with a stronger nose, transformed her face just enough to the point where once she added the mustache and the thicker eyebrows, she knew she'd look like a convincing enough Chad.
With the ball fast approaching, Ami could feel nerves setting in, for some reason. She didn't get nervous, so why was there a pit in her stomach? Some part of her vaguely recognized that she was essentially coming out to the whole freaking school, but the more rational part of her insisted that she'd already done that throughout this school year. She had nothing to be afraid of, anymore- this was who she was, unashamedly, and she had no right to feel awkward in her skin.
Ami snuck out of the castle with her school robes over her outfit, carrying her top hat in her arm, tucked away beneath the cloak. Her hair was already pinned up, ready to be hidden under the beautiful top hat, and she tried her best to hide her flashy shoes under the sweeping cloth of her robes. Making a quick pit stop in the changing rooms to draw on her mustache and thicken her eyebrows, it wasn't long before she discarded her school robes and placed her top hat on her head. Taking a deep breath, she took one last glance at the mirror before making her way to the Quidditch pitch. She was a king on a mission.
The second his foot touched the grass, it was like a flipped had switched in his mind. Was he trans? Well, probably not. No, definitely not. But right now, he was a king, and this king had a mission: stop one Anastasia Beckett from kissing one Scott Alexander. Pausing by the LGBTQIAP Club's basket of ribbons, Chad actually had to pause and think for a moment as his hand hovered over the basket. Sighing deeply, he reached for a simple Hufflepuff ribbon, as he realized that he would've had to grab a black and white ribbon. As he strode across the pitch, however, his head swiveling around and around, searching for his familiar best friend's golden locks, his gaze locked onto another blonde, instead.
Alexx. Chad actually had to work to stop his jaw from dropping at the sight of her- who let this girl be so damn pretty? He had nearly run into three other people because of her- and dang, that jumpsuit looked amazing on her. But there was no way he was going to go up to her, and try to talk to her, not while he looked like this. Forcing himself to turn away from the gorgeous Slytherin, he forced himself to go find Scott and Anastasia.
Ah, there they were. Frowning deeply, he noted that Anastasia actually looked... well, pretty. Very pretty. This didn't bode well. She looked way too pretty for your average school dance. Scott, thank goodness, had passed on the paisley this year, opting for a stylish gold and black design, instead. Approaching the group, Chad's eyes widened slightly as he realized that he still hadn't come up with a last name.
"Howdy, sir," he said, his voice straining to go as deep as it could. His arm lifted to touch the brim of his top hat like all the fancy British men did, as he didn't really want to take it all the way off and reveal his actual hair underneath. "My name's Chad... Chad Preoccupied. It's great to meet y'all." He inclined his head towards Anastasia, too, but his stare was cold and almost formidable.
Turning towards Scott so his back was entirely to Ana, basically blocking her out of their conversation, Chad raised an eyebrow. His voice dropping to a whisper, the pitch of his voice returned to normal as he whispered, "Does it look good? I- I think the mustache looks a little weird, but I didn't get much time to work on it... but I dunno, man. I- do I look okay?"

»»————————- ♔ ————————-««Hogwarts' school-wide events were the talk of the town. They always have been, overpromoted grand balls with elaborate decor and quidditch matches that garnered attention from the bourgeoisie local magical society- things that went down in history told to wide-eyed blooded children who grew up within the masses.
Astrea had been born into high-class, surrounded by proper etiquette and all the finer things in life from the moment she was introduced to the world and expected to live up to the expectations set upon her as an heir and as a lady within genteel society. When she turned 7 and was formally introduced to the higher society for the first time, it had been clad in a white lace formal dress tied at the waist with a pale pink ribbon and a crisp bonnet to match. The earliest memory she could recall was of magic, watching her nursemaid spelling tiny scraps of wool into birds to distract her before fetching tea as a dutiful house-elf stood at the foot of the stool awaiting service. What the point is that Astrea had never been as astounded by the more extravagant, it was- as was magic- simply another part of life. The sky was blue, her father worked in his study- do not distract him, do not go inside unless invited- she was to be married when older, and they were different from most of the world.
Maybe it was because of this easy acceptance that Astrea had serious doubts about attending the Blossom Ball even before it was cancelled and student-reinstated. It was not as special to her as other students made it out to be. And usually, they ended with disaster- fires, intruders, crying, screaming-oh so much screaming-, general chaos. But when it lasted, provided that Astrea actually stayed long enough, it was a useful thing. It was a clear sign to see whom was to be looked into carefully, whether for a possible allyship or to avoid, who was of her rank and who was not, and the creativeness of the decor was interesting, to say the least.
It was with this reasoning that Astrea found herself repeating over again in her head as she walked down to the pitch from the changing rooms, the genuine silk satin-smooth against her plain stockings, a steady chant of mostly rationalised conviction. She was decidedly not being paranoid when she had primped herself back at the dorm- doing her hair up meticulously and inserting two steel hairpins sharp enough to pierce within the dark locks, tucking her wand safely within the hidden pockets of her dress and choosing out a sturdy thigh strap to attach a dagger hidden above the slit of her skirt. She was merely being prepared. To attend Hogwarts was to attend danger. If it wasn't the case, it certainly seemed that way.
The Quidditch Pitch certainly was well-decorated, creative and making good use of the Quidditch Field as the impromptu 'ballroom'. Thousands of candles entrapped in bubbles much like the ones that had led right down the path toward the Quidditch Pitch shone holographic reflections as they lingered suspended in the air, various plants hanging down from where they were wrapped around the score hoops above the food tables. In the stark middle was a checkered dance floor, flanked on either side by tables and in front of a large stage. While no doubt beautiful, the casualness of the situation provided made Astrea slightly uneasy about attending- she had no problem within the fineries of a dressed up ballroom, yet she was out of place when faced with a charmed and decorated pitch. A field, really.
Absentmindedly retrieving an emerald ribbon from the offered case and tying it around one pale wrist in a bow, Astrea took a second to simply observe the attendants already there from where she had secluded herself away from the rest of the crowd. A familiar head of blonde hair caught her attention first, stormy eyes watching with detached interest as Willow conversed with the brunet from the pool- Ruka was his name?- and bit into a cupcake, the frosting wedged in between the two pieces of cake like a sweet sandwich. Interesting. Cute, even. Scratch that- definitely cute. Astrea couldn't deny that the other looked at home clad in swishy pink and subdued brown, but the more she looked around the more she was afraid that she had overdressed for the occasion.
Yet her attention fell on Anastasia and a gurgle of amusement wormed its way into her mind. Her hair was wound up and around in an intricate pattern so many times it was difficult to keep track of where each lock began and ended, and the dress was quite pretty- just on that side of too extra and yet somehow not tacky in a way that few could accomplish. Hm.
She hadn't a clue on what to do now. No date. She wasn't feeling anything in particular except for vaguely uncomfortable, a feeling that had been following her around for far longer than just that day. But the ball was still a useful thing and Astrea would stay. Stay just enough to observe, to scope out possibilities.Reducio

Secret Blossom Ball
Character Outfit:I am open to all rps. (Good or Bad)

Percival bit the inside of his lip as he looked down at his outfit for the ball. The boy had planned to ask his crush to the ball. He had even planned out an outfit to wear. Though things never seemed to go the way he had planned. The Slytherin had everything planned out, ask Opeila to the dance. It was supposed to be that simple. Opeila had been nice to him, and Percival could not deny that he had a small crush on her. Though his plans were dashed when he heard around that Opeila had already been asked to the dance.
The boy knew he should have asked her sooner, but his nerves were not usually the best when it came to such things. He wondered if he should have counted it as a blessing. Waiting had saved him from the humiliation of being rejected.
Percival tucked his clothes into his school bag that he had recently emptied onto his bed. The boy made his way towards the Quidditch Pitch the light was barely even there anymore. He was late to the party, mainly on the fact that he was not planning on going in the first place. It was not until Hanako Tone, his dormate, had convinced him to change his mind. The boy truly wondered why he kept going along with what Hanako suggested. Hanako was his only true friend at Hogwarts, and he wanted to improve his relationship with the other.
He hoped that when he arrived that he would be able to locate Hanako quickly. The thought of standing alone was a little too much for the boy to handle, and his stomach felt like it was twisting in knots. Shaking his head, he realized he had made it to the pitch.
The boy made his way to the changing rooms. Percival slipped into his white, long-sleeve, silk top. The material was cool against his skin and he mentally wished he had chosen a different fabric. The boy changed into his black dress pants, and put on his black dress shoes. To complete his outfit Percival pinned the Rainwood family crest to his right pocket sleeve. The pin had been a gift from his grandparents for his twelfth birthday. He could almost hear his grandfather telling him that he had to uphold the family name.
Percival sighed slightly before turning to glance into a mirror. After slightly tossing his hair around, he decided that he was ready. He placed his wand in his back pocket before making his way back to the pitch.
The first thing he noticed was how the candles seemed to light up the 'ballroom'. In all honesty, it was a beautiful setup and he was grateful for the people who set this up. His initial wonder was stalled as he realized he should try to find his friend soon.
Percival's gaze flicked between unfamiliar faces as he tried to locate Hanako's silhouette. His increasing anxiety was cooled as he saw his friend a little way away. Though his anger still remained behind a thin wall of neutrality. With the faintest of smiles, he made his way towards Hanako.
@Hanako Tone

Secret Blossom Ball
MENTIONS: @Rosie Parker @Adam Harringtom @Alexx Séverin
Yet another round was set out in front of them, another ball, and frankly he was ready for something else this time around. But his uncle told him something that sounded like it was passed down from his grandfather, 'behave yourself'. He grimaces at the words, but couldn't help but keep them to heart as the year was progressing. The family's will was slowly bending the Hufflepuff and he was left with tiresome letters addressed to him. 'Behave yourself at this ball, if something arises, rise to the occasion, but don't be a fool'.
It was as if his objective ever was to be a fool, he was trying to better himself. The student's frown only deepens as Rosie pulls him along, but for other reasons that didn't relate to her. His body was still rather stiff and tense from a fall he suffered from the Quidditch game, so his movement kept a sluggish swagger. Why was he here? Well his friends were going and he also once again felt obligated to be here and it was hard to back him down from such a notion. He knew how he'd feel if he heard that something terrible happened at the ball and he wasn't there, plus a part of him craved the danger.
That's why he came prepared this time. He had asked his uncle to send him a jacket in which he could keep his wand within. It came with a letter explaining that the inside pocket was replaced with something for his wand, like a holster but a little more discreet to the eye. His mind is yanked out as a particular movement from Rosie's pulling causes him to wince. But that's all lost when he sees Adam and the familiar face of Alexx ahead. The lines on his features relax, his shoulders slack as Rosie lets go of his pained hand.
To hide the slight spasm, he slips it into the pocket of his dress pants and shifts on one leg in a casual posture once he reaches them. Rosie is quick to do the talking and he's clearly had some change of mannerisms, he's reserved and almost retreated. But his expression remained warm, he liked to see his friends when he could. "You lot look good, as always." It was the usual starter, he didn't know what to say at these events. He didn't get an etiquette course on socializing in these situations.
His voice mirrors an exhaustion, partially from struggling with his academics, his interest in Quidditch, and his duties as a Prefect. "This isn't the setting I was expecting, I'm not complaining though ..." This clearly wasn't organized by the professors or staff, none of them were present, and that's what made this event all the more unnerving. They were left to their devices, but Reid certainly was ready to spring into action. His free hand tugs at the collar of his black turtleneck momentarily and fixes the glasses on his face. It was a new addition, normally he didn't wear it, but a part of him insisted that he hide behind it for now.

Listening to Willow's words about how to position the plants around the Quidditch pitch in a way that they wouldn't be a nuisance during a match, Ruka tried hard to imagine what she was talking about, but it felt like his brain just gave up half way through and he just resigned himself to smiling and nodding along with her concept. "Yeah, lucky," he said distractedly, a smile on his face as he looked at Willow with what he thought wasn't too obvious discomfort on his face.
She looked so happy and excited to be there with him, and it made him feel horrible for how distracted and anxious he felt. While Willow was sweet and brimming with positive energy, Ruka didn't feel like he knew her all that well yet, definitely not well enough to spending a whole evening together at an event as social as a Ball for the whole school, and whenever he looked at her, the only thing he could really think of was the fact that not even a month ago he had kissed her best friend at her own Birthday Party and she didn't even know.
It felt like such a horrible secret to keep and everything inside him just wanted to blurt it out with every word he said, but Flash had asked him not to say anything, and he was going to respect that. It had already been bad enough for him to have let vague things slip in front of Rafa, but with Willow? He didn't even want to know how she might react to information like that.
Her comment about the mini burgers was completely lost on him, far too distracted by the sight of Flash across the dance floor. He hummed noncommittally at her words, eyes glazed over lightly as the anxiety seemed to wreck his whole body. The restlessness inside him was not unfamiliar anymore but in no way less frustrating, and any excuse to just get away for a while was more than welcome.
As he had left the Quidditch pitch to look for sticks that could double as torches, he hadn't realised exactly how long he had been gone, so upon his return he frowned lightly at the sight of a plate full of half eaten food to Willow's side. It looked a little like someone else had left the plate there, but there was a little shimmer of grease and spit on Willow's lips that made him assume she had gathered some food while he was gone. Not that he could blame her; He had asked her if she wanted anything and then left without at least bringing her some food first. On the scale of horrible Ball dates he had to rank pretty low so far.
He didn't mention any of that, however, simply lifted his goblet before taking a sip of his Pumpkin Juice, smiling lightly at the gentle tone of her voice as she agreed with his toast. The liquid got stuck in his throat, causing him to cough violently when Willow started talking about how he had vanished for so long just to return with some sticks and how it had been a very exaggerated reaction to her simply fixing his hair.
She was right of course, it had been an extremely exaggerated reaction, but he couldn't help it either way. The touch combined with the memory of the last time someone had offered him the same kind of care and attention had made him fall into a pool of high strung nerves that he had a hard time stepping out of again.
Shrugging his shoulders he looked down at his hands folded in his lap, pulling his bottom lip between his teeth.
No.
Quickly he released his lip again, keeping his mouth slightly ajar as to not be tempted to bite on his already abused lip any more than he already had. He had so much progress this month already - Today really wasn't the right day to be taking three steps back after having done two steps forward.
"I just don't usually like to be touched," he admitted quietly, thumbs twiddling together restlessly, the way a small child would do often when feeling guilty for something. He wasn't being dishonest about that; While there were instances of physical affection he enjoyed a lot, just in general he preferred people not to touch him, especially these days. He didn't mind when he was the one initiating the touch, but the way he felt so powerless and completely out of control when other people touched him any way was usually not worth it. "It's not a big deal," he added quickly, chucking lightly as he averted his gaze to instead let it drift across the dance floor. "And I know it's a bit weird but I just... Don't feel comfortable with it. I try to be, but it's not usually that easy, you know?"

Secret Blossom Ball
Oswald made his way to the Quidditch Pitch where the main events of the Blossom Ball happend. The big open place with several more bubbled candles and flowers seemed kind of surreal to him. It fascinated him that despite his status of Second Year student, witchcraft and it effects still seemed to amaze him every now and then. He looked around the place and spotted several students wearing nice and elegant dresses and suits. He was clearly underdressed but did not care that much; he only came to have a fun time.Open for interactions

His eyes fell on a big set of tables full of food and drinks. He made his way to the table and began to inspect them. There was no sign of what the drinks were. Ozzy decided to test his luck and reached for a glass full of yellow-ish clear liquid. He smelled it softly and immediatly recognized what it contained; a sweet fruit-ish scent, mixed with a slight sour note. He took a small sip of it; applejuice, just as he expected! He grabbed one of the many plates and placed some salmon, cooked vegetables and sauce on it.
Oswald made his way to a bunch of big tables and seats to find a nice place to sit down and relax. His sight wandered around the room, until he spotted a male student, most likely a fellow Second Year one. He inspected his outfit and noticed the lack of shoes. Could it be....? At this place? He walked closer , stopped to inspect again. Yes, he was sure, definitly! He made his way to the table and sat down infront of him , but did not interact with him at first. He was not sure if it was really him or just a look-alike. Even if it was Dan, Ozzy did not know how he would react. Would he be angry? Would he be sad? Maybe happy and full of joy to see him again? Or..... and that thought dreaded him the most..... simply would not react at all?

Secret Blossom Ball
Interacting with @Ruka Tân
Mentioning @Flash Holmwood @Astrea Soleil Neptune
The more the night went on, the more it seemed like Ruka really didn't want to be there with her. Had he regretted accepting her invitation? They definitely weren't close at all, but that was the point of this, right? She was performing an awkward dance with him that she had no time to rehearse, and they hadn't even reached the real dance floor. Willow was starting to have her doubts about the night, but she wasn't about to run away now. She was done with running.
In the time that Ruka was gone, Willow had also spent her time examining who was there. Her friends were scattered through the party and she found solace in knowing that if Ruka never returned she wouldn't be completely alone. Among the crowd she happened to spot her brother, Flash. He had looked absolutely dashing, seeming like he belonged within a place of fancy ball gowns and tailored suits. A proud smile for the one she held so dear to her spread across her face like wildfire. His date was also lovely, and it occurred to her that she had no idea about any of Flash's relationships outside of her really. Was the Quidditch Co-Captain his girlfriend? She would have to ask him at a different time. For now, Ruka was back and she was determined to make sure he at least had a decent evening.
It really wasn't hard to know that this wasn't the full story. He was absolutely valid in not wanting to be touched but there was absolutely more to this, she knew it. But she didn't want to push if he didn't want to talk about it. "Ah, I'm sorry. I should've asked before doing it. I noticed you weren't a big hugger after a couple of them, but I should've translated that to other touch as well. Thank you for telling me, Ruka." She paused, she just... couldn't let it go. "If for some reason we need to step outside for any reason, even if it's avoidance of someone, just say the word and we can go. Otherwise you might catch the attention of who you're avoiding, dipping in and out by yourself. I asked you to come with me for a reason, so anyway I can help you with what's going on just let me know." A gentle hint that she knew this wasn't everything, but that she wasn't going to pry anymore. Friends were there for each other. She did want to lighten the mood a bit so she tried to crack a joke. "I may be small but I can climb someone like a beanstalk in less than a second and take them out like I did with Jack, not your Jack, my Jack, he’s a Hufflepuff. Not that he’s like mine, we’re not dating. I just meant like he’s the Jack I know opposed to the Slytherin Jack.” Things with Jack were weird and it was obvious in her tone of voice and immediate defense of them not dating despite no one accusing her of it. The point remained, “So, if you need a hitman I can also provide that for you."
The 129cm girl eating a cutesy cupcake truly did think she was capable of striking fear into many people's hearts.
Willow's eyes flicked back to the entrance every now and again to see who was arriving and there was a certain girl that caught her eye. She was absolutely elegant as always, looking much more dressed up than Willow had been. Had she under dressed for this? She really didn't know what to expect in a ball, but it was obvious that Astrea did. Her breath caught in her throat at the absolute beauty of the Slytherin. She was always someone that caught her off guard, even just in her appearance. Willow made a note to go say hi to her later, but again. She had a date to tend to.
Willow's eyes landed back on the sticks and thought of another purpose for them, specific to Ruka. "I bet fire dancing can come in quite handy if anything were to go wrong tonight, which honestly I'm preparing for with everything that's happened here in the past couple months." An obvious shiver went down her spine as she thought about the Hufflepuff fire. "How long have you been doing that? And how does one even decide to get into fire dancing as a hobby... as a kid?" It was another way they were different, Willow took up friendship bracelets, Ruka took up an extremely dangerous and highly skilled performance art. It only made her more eager to know him more.

Secret Blossom Ball
He was first approached by Tyranni, on business of course. She looked divine, though more the kind of divine one would use to describe a legendary warrior. Seriousness on her face as usual, she greeted Evelynn before asking if her and Flash could speak alone.Outfit:Reducio
”It’s alright, Miss Tyranni. If it’s about the plan, you can include Miss Evelynn.” It was brief, but he had explained the situation to her. If she was going to be his first lieutenant for the night, she would have to stay as informed as she could.
Once that had been negotiated, she explained some of the information she had already gathered. He could be frightened of Tyranni’s meticulous powers of espionage if she wasn’t already his ally. He was glad she would be keeping an eye on Marion herself, she was doing everyone a favor by being there when she didn’t want to be. Flash would have liked to sit down with her and ask her about her thoughts on justice and punishment, but neither of them were there for enlightening discussion.
She brought Victor’s bag to attention, as well as given his date’s name-- Wren Caster. He hadn’t met her yet, so he was thankful for the right words to use. When he looked over briefly at the three, he saw the bag in question, as well as the solemn approach of a nervous Arlo Reynolds. It seems both their dates had arrived. It wouldn’t be long before they would grab refreshments or go dance.
For all accounts, Victor and Marion looked happy. It would be nice if the two of them could enjoy themselves and have a normal evening. Flash honestly wished for that.
As Tyranni left to look as inconspicuous as she could in war paint, Flash’s eyes betrayed him to look back over to where Ruka was sitting. Except he was gone. Willow was sitting alone picking at some food on a plate. Given a moment in time to reflect, he thought Willow had chosen quite an interesting ensemble. She was quite good at choosing outfits, though this one lacked the bright pastels that fit her exuberant personality.
Ah, and she was wearing the hair ornament he got her. That was… a good feeling. He saw Willow nearly every day, the two of them were normally inseparable. She wasn’t a part of this though. The fire in the Hufflepuff commons had given them all a heavy heaping of trauma. They weren’t like the Slytherins, who instead planned for a war of retaliation. One that was doomed to fail, like an upset child banging his fists on the table to get his way.
That was when Ruka returned out of his periphery. Wait… they aren’t… they can’t be… together? It was hard to rationalize anything else when they sat so close and talked at length. Why hadn’t he checked to see who Willow was taking? Perhaps he should have chosen someone for her, someone more fitting. Someone who was anyone but Ruka.
Though that was hardly fair. Ruka deserved to have a good time as much as anyone else, and no one created more of a ‘good time’ atmosphere than his beloved sister Willow. Perhaps it was actually perfect. Willow was emotionally intelligent, after all, or at least for her age she was. She had been through a lot herself, yet combatted it by becoming stronger and happier in spite of it. Ruka, on the other hand, walked through his problems with thick skin and balled up fists. They had plenty they could teach each other about coping.
That was, however, only a distraction. He couldn’t let himself keep tabs on people who were only just having a peaceful evening. Honestly, he also couldn’t walk up to Victor and ask him what was in his bag either. It was completely out of the question, if there was something suspicious in the bag, he would immediately be alerted to the fact that Flash was watching him. Instead, he just stayed mindful of it. Perhaps if it was left completely unattended he might send one of his conscripts to go and check it for him.
It did seem as though Dan Palmer and Thomas Lestrange had arrived as well, though he admittedly trusted the two of them a lot less than the girls. Less for the fact that they didn’t care about the outcome, but that they very well could have their own plans for how to spend their time, regardless of what was said at the round table a few nights ago.
As things stood, nothing was currently going wrong. Flash should have felt glad, but he knew it was only a matter of time.

Secret Blossom Ball
The food was grand. Dan then decided to try the 'yoohoo' drink.Open to interactions. Interacting with @Oswald Vanigton
He shook it violently, opened it, and took a drink.
It was WONDERFUL. A delightful chocolate milk drink. While it was certainly not going to replace his favorite drinks, this 'yoohoo' was a marvel. Even though you wouldn't think so, it went pretty well with fried chicken.
It was at this point, that someone sat down in front of him. Dan had not expected someone to take an interest in him. One, he was at the ball alone, and two, he had thought everyone else had come with a date.
When he looked up to see who it was, he almost went into shock. The glasses. The tightly curly red hair, the adorable face.
It was Ozzy.
Dan regained his senses, got up, and wrapped his arms tightly around the English German love of his life. He sobbed into Ozzy's shoulder. Never had he been so happy and relieved to see someone.
Then came the inevitable part.
"Where teh shaggin' hell'v ye been?! Ye had me so worried I couldn't half sleep at night! What happened? I've missed ye so much!"
This was one of the happiest moments of little Dan's life. His Curly haired love was back.

Secret Blossom Ball

Interacting with @Katrina WalkerOpen to interactionsMore and more people were starting to appear from the entrance, as well as some people decided to leave the main area. River imagined they were probably heading to the changing rooms or something, looking for their friends or partners. Going to these things alone was actually pretty nice. You had no one to look for and you can go wherever you feel like, it’s all up to you. The memories of the previous ball began popping up in River head. It was truly a disaster, and even though she didn’t catch a lot of the blossom ball action, she definitely got a good look at the aftermath as she was part of the clean up crew.
Cold eyes scanned the crowd, trying to find someone she could safely go up and strike a conversation with. And as if on cue, a person walked in through the doors. Katrina had arrived. River didn’t know her too well, byt the had an encounter in the library one time earlier, and also they were both in the same club. The gryffindor talked with another student River didn’t recognise, and then she walked towards some of the tables on the side of the field. Katrina seemed to have the same idea as River, just sit down and watch for a bit. Rivers feet began carrying her across the floor towards the girl.
Zigzagging through the crowd of students, River slowly made her way to the table that Katrina was sitting by. She tried catching her attention by giving Katrina a wave and a smile, but because of all the other people she probably didn't reach through. “Hey, It’s nice to see you here”, River said with a smile as she approached the table. ”Mind if I take a seat?”, She asked and nodded down to a chair next to the girl. River was usually quite hesitant to approach others, afraid she’d interrupt anyone minding their own business. But after all, this was an event to socialize and converse with other students and have some fun. River had at least decided she was going to try to have some fun, even if her instincts told her to recede into a corner and stay hidden away til the whole thing was over.Reducio
