Secret Blossom Ball
Arriving from the Quidditch Stands
Mentions: @Erin Ryan @Jack Burnett @Thomas Lestrange @Santario Martin
Oliver sprinted hard into the pitch, his head down and his foreread rolling with sweat. The buzzing was growing behind him and he had a strong feeling that any moment he was going to get swallowed by some terrible monster. Similar to that feeling one gets when exiting a dark room alone in the middle of the night. His heart was pounding with adrenaline.
Oliver had his eyes locked on to where he had last seen Erin, where he had seen her begin a physical fight with some younger looking kid. The distance between them wasn't too long, he was sure she'd still be there in the darkness. He was sure she would probably still be trying to pummel the kid into the ground surrounded by the black. Upon nearly arriving, Oliver remembered Jack was still with her. Probably trying to get her to protect him no doubt.
"ERIIIIN!!!" Oliver would roar with all of his lungs power. He wanted to get out of here right now, he wanted to let Erin get some peace for once. As he looked around at the lumos beginning to get casted, he realised the amount of panic going on. There was first years here, they needed help. With some mild hesitation, Oliver would keep running. He remembered what he had told Erin and would stick by it. They were on the outside and outsiders stick together.
If Santario successfully casts lumos, the area Oliver had his eyes on would fill with the sillouhettes of Erin, Thomas and the Fox, Jack. Oliver would call out "ERIN!" once again as he would hurry to them. If the lumos failed, Oliver would do the same just without knowledge that Erin was still where he last saw her.

Secret Blossom Ball
[font=Times New Roman]Interacting with @Ivy BellamyIt was the start of the ball that he had really wanted. Ivy was such an amazing dancer, elegant in all ways, clearly outclassing him. Zykeal didn't mind though, she was absolutely alluring and he enjoyed watching her. Unfortunately, it seemed that Hogwarts couldn't have a normal night once in a while. It was when Rafa' pulled his nonsense and there came an eerie sense that pulled over the night to when Zyk had stopped them and shifted Ivy so he could place himself in front of the growing confrontation.
Eyes flickered across the pitch as methodically, individual lights started to dim and continue to flicker out. It came as a distraction as the brawl that was taking place over in the crowd was so obvious, it seemed almost to be some sort of misdirection. Once the pitch had obtained the vast darkness that now consumed it, light gasps and mutterings of terrified classmates were heard in what seemed the ball coming to in inevitable ending. A flash of disappointment crossed his thoughts as he wanted to enjoy the rest of the night with Ivy, it was fleeting though.
Ivys panicked voice broke his stoic features for a moment, in the dark, he grimaced to hear her so uncomfortably scared. A soft squeeze of his hand to hers as he leaned in her direction and whispered, "Just a minute, we don't want to get trampled in this darkness," he offered gently. Letting his hand that held hers pull her slightly closer to him, with his other hand he'd lift it to his vest and withdrew the pheonix feathered wand that was holstered there earlier in the night. Holding out his hand, he merely twirled the wand through his fingers as a drummer would to a stick.
Zykeal was deciding quickly on different actions he could take in this situation, his main priority on being the safety of Ivy. Instead of trying to illuminate their surroundings, he let the other students in a panic around the pitch do so for him. From their shining wands and sparks that flew into the air, he could clearly then deduce the exits of the pitch that were being crowded with fleeing students. Still, he'd wait for the opening that was needed for him to safely get Ivy out of this situation.
Feeling her obvious tension building with the more time passed, he couldn't wait any longer, "Stay with me Ivy, keep holding on," he said as he looked down to her dimly illuminated features. "We'll be fine," he assured, having no real idea of what he said was true, but wanting to alleviate her worries. It still wasn't as clear as to what to do, but he had to be decisive, and he'd pull her gently along with him, keeping himself always in front of her as he leads them towards where the quidditch pitch changing rooms were. There seemed to be no other exit besides a slightly more dangerous path, which would leave them alone; he thought at first maybe to go to the pitches side tunnels, it was a long drop down onto the beams and floor beyond, so he had to squelch that idea.
Zyks' wand came to rest from his twirls to rest within the palm of his hand, gripped firmly and in front of him as he guided the two towards the exit of the quidditch pitch. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a few people go down, it was too dark for him to make out what had happened to them and who they were. This wasn't his priority at the moment though, hell, he was only 11 and didn't know enough magic to get him through any sort of major confrontations. Logically, he reasoned, it was best for him to clear the way for the more advanced students to take the problem on. It itched at the back of his mind that he'd prefer to stay and help with the situation with his fellow mates, but, priorities were calling and he knew what he should do.

“Yes, I will check you out. IT. The snacks! I will check the snacks out! Give me this,” As another verbal blunder escaped Ethen's lips, Atlas couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle. She had tried her best to keep her face ivory and calm to no avail as she could feel her cheeks tingling knowing very well that her face was probably similar in color to the cupcake Ethen had just smashed into his mouth.Open to Interactions
Interacting with: @Ethen Emrys
Taking one of the red cupcakes, Atlas mimicked Ethen smashing the cupcake abruptly in her mouth as she felt the frosting oozing from the sides of her mouth. "Uh yuh tha reahhly guh!" Atlas replied turning as she saw several couples dancing on the dance floor together. Although she was young and rebellious she knew she had strong feelings for Ethen. Not quite sure what to call them yet she just knew there was something about him that never failed to make her smile.
Her heart pounded against her ribcage loud enough that she thought Ethen might here it and make fun of her as she wanted desperately to ask him to dance. She had no idea how to slow dance but she figured it wouldn't be hard to get down as long as she had the confidence to ask. Grabbing a bottle of Yoohoo, Atlas washed down the cupcake resisting the urge to wipe the remnants of the cupcake on her arm as she grabbed a napkin cleaning off her face as she realized she hadn't said anything for an uncomfortable amount of time.
Turning back to face Ethen, Atlas could feel her face going hot again as she quickly tilted her head up to look at the night sky as it flooded with stars shimmering over the ball. "The sky is--" Atlas stopped mid-thought as all of the candles around the ball blew out simultaneously. In seconds the ball is complete darkness as Atlas slipped her wand out from boot grasping it in her palm as she backed up so she was standing next to Ethen.
Whatever was coming, Atlas was thankful for the moment of chaos as it stopped the awkwardness between her and her best friend. As the music stopped, Atlas heard a buzzing coming from the sky as she gritted her teeth. She wasn't the biggest fan of bugs so she prayed it was something else like a dark wizard or a firework sizzle but she had a small arsenal of spells at her disposal should any of them try to come near her.
"Bring it on..." She whispered under her breath as she tried to allow her eyes to adjust to the dark not wanting to use light to attract whatever was coming.

Interacting with @Pericles Dralt @Xailah Alptraum and @Ruby Cazares
Mentioning @Illowy Magnard and @Margo White
It may look like a rather cumbersome dress, but thankfully with a bit of Pericles's help, Breana was able to walk fast with him without any abrupt trips and falls. It did take a while for her to process the large and possibly groundbreaking information her friend was giving to her. She didn't know who Vladimir is, but she can only deduce that he must be the Vladimir that a certain student just started a fight with here."Wait, Vlad? The guy in the fight?" She asked, turning her head to try to catch a glimpse of the boy."A student testified in the Harry Potter case?"
As the two of them finally reached their destination, Breana finally relaxed as she saw a familiar face in Pericles's group: Ruby Cazares. She looked over at the others, wondering if she'd met them beforehand. There was the first girl Pericles interacted with. Xailah was her name, as how Pericles introduced her. Upon a closer look at her, she was most likely at least the same age as Ruby, a second-year, or a third-year at most. She then looked over at the other two girls in their group, possibly second-years as well. She doesn't know them that well, but if Pericles vouched for them, then they're good in her book. This was good, at least for what Breana thought. That meant they have people here that would be smarter than the two first-years.
"Hey guys... Hi Ruby!! Glad to be a part of this and stuff... Let's do this!"Breana hooted, trying to rev the group up a bit. Breana did notice the disappointed look Xailah showed for a moment, but she didn't think much of it. Breana's used to people underestimating her. It gave the little girl advantage if they were to underestimate her. It did sting a bit that the formal-looking girl chose to ignore her. "Uhh, yeah!" Breana chimed in, trying to let herself be known to Xailah. "Ready as I'll ever be!"
She then nodded at Pericles as he divulged his plans. Of course, like any other girl, Breana would want to enjoy the ball, but she'd be an idiot to ignore such large and intriguing things starting to unfold in it. Before she could answer Pericles, he was already weaving his way through the stands. "Welp, no time like the present!" Breana grinned, as she quickly followed suit, grabbing unto her own wand, tucked in the little pocket of her dress that's hidden under the floral decor.

Intereacting with: @ Griseldis Edelhardt | @ Lark Flaer | @ Allister-Jameson MacAllister
For the moment, Alan was finally starting to come around to a crowded environment. Staring at Gris made it easier to ignore the crowd. The young lad couldn't explain it. Perhaps the thought of being with some familiar company made it easier to ignore everything else, or maybe Gris attitude is continually rubbing off the Ravenclaw. Whatever it was, Alan felt at ease, happy that he pushed himself to go to the ball. There was a short pause between them as they were exchanging pleasantries. In the back of Alan's mind, his thoughts spoke out "Well Al? are you just going to stand there, go talk some more, you're doing fine." Alan maintained his gaze at the dark robe she was wearing before returning towards Gris's eyes. After having made his playful joke Gris rolling her eyes made Alan chuckle only to stop suddenly. Gris had gently reached out for the Ravenclaws hand; instinctively, he took it as she requested to be his dance partner. Chest thumping with anxiety on top of the excitement Alan couldn't understand why but he felt good, which didn't need much explaining. Replying to Gris request, Alan spoke with the utmost confidence in his tone, different from his usual nervous self. "If that is what you ask, I accept, let's go Da-" Before Alan could finish his sentence, the young lad cut short immediately. The pair watched a boy come out from the entrance appearing sickly only to vomit out of his mouth a slug, repulsed by the bug he asked Gris "You think someone spiked the food?" In the back of Alan's mind, a small voice spoke: "This isn't looking good, slugs on the menu are just bad news."
Alan looked over towards Gris, seeing the smile disappear, the warm feeling that had built up during the brief exchange quickly changed to fear. Curious to see what was happening, Gris asked Alan to follow her inside. The pair moved past the entrance only to see all the bright lights, beautiful to look at only for a short moment until all were extinguished one by one leaving the pitch in darkness. The fear inside Alan grew as an echo of 'Lumos' is cast by a vast number of people. A sea of white spots all illuminated the pitch, the guests huddling together in a moment of panic. Alan turned to Gris hearing the frustration in her tone he looked towards the dark pitch "This is the Masquerade all over again..." The boy muttered. His first instinct in mind was to leave while they were still in the entrance knowing his friend Gris would be headfirst into this mess. Alan had always admired her bravery despite not being up to his alley. The young lad began to tremble from the growing chaos only to calmed from a sudden tight squeeze to his hand; Alan looked down then back to Gris letting out a deep sigh of relief that she was next to him. On command, Alan whipped out his wand he kept in his sleeve and muttered the wand-lighting charm "Lumos." The young lad knew his best friend well, Gris wasn't the type to sit around in this chaos being the first to act. Before he could speak up, a sudden buzzing noise caused his ears to twitch. It was almost impossible to see where the sound was coming from due to the darkness leaving the young lad on edge. Alan was constantly checking his surroundings as Gris guided him through the dark pitch. As they waded through the panicking crowd and as the buzzing noise grew louder, the pair bumped into someone. Alan let out a gasp causing his voice to croak.
A familiar name uttered in the darkness "A-AJ-" Alan held onto Gris's hand tightly as she called out to Lark a fellow Ravenclaw as well as a teammate. Alan said to Lark as he turned to look at his surroundings "It's g-g-going to be ok L-Lark, On and off the pitch, I look out for my te-te-teammates." Alan was nervous despite the attempted brave face the young lad was mustering. Alan wanted to be brave for his friends just like his best friend as he finished "What Gris said, nothing will happen on our watch" feeling her hand slip out of his. Alan covered the groups back watching for anything potentially coming their way. On top of protecting his friends, Alan kept a lookout for the exit wanting to grab his friends and leave together quickly. In the back of his mind, he said: "No one is getting hurt, we're all getting out this time, this won't be the Masquerade!"

»»————————- ♔ ————————-««Ana's reply was a mannerly sort of vague that told of a clear objection to any poking or prodding, something that Astrea could respect- what the other wanted to do and subsequently punch directly in the face was not her business unless she decided so. And this was not a topic that she did. As little as Astrea cared about the spat, it seemed that other people did not share that sentiment- from the crowd she could see someone attempt to slug another at the poor boy, only to be body bound. Children. Very mature.
Disinterested silvery eyes turned away from the ending of the 'riveting'- yeah that was sarcasm- scene to stare at her companions. Er, companion- sorry Dale. Ana looked almost bloodless as she stared at something- Astrea's eyes followed the other's line of sight with a curious confusion and was met with the vase of roses, nearly thornless and placed neatly in a vase of turquoise blue water. All but one had changed colour from the last time she had looked over, strangely fresh petals ebony black against yellow and apparently the source of her companion's distress. Something was wrong, she was sure of it.
Shouts. Another skirmish. Of course. If Astrea was any lesser person, perhaps she would have cringed at the harsh sound of tearing that followed Ana up. But alas, she was a privileged blueblooded guttersnipe and really had no concept of "expensive" versus "normal" priced items.
The whole scuffle was an ugly thing, all dirty anger-filled blows and collateral damage surrounded by overly concerned people that really only served to make the situation all the more chaotic. This always happened, it was rather ridiculous, really. But not so ridiculous enough that it made Astrea disregard it- no, Ana had the right idea, the only way to break the two up was by force, and if the knockback jinx landed then it would do just that. If it missed, well, that was a few more bumps and bruises under fine fabric and pressed suits, wasn't it? Who really cared, as long as things didn't elevate enough to end in some unlucky child in a bodybag. "Flipendo."
She dove one hand into the hidden pocket of her skirt to retrieve her wand and rose from her chair in one smooth motion tp dutifully flank her aggressive companion, the night air cool against the bare skin where the slit was. Anastasia was no Lord or Lady of hers- no member of the Four Bloodlines in which she was expected to defer to- but the fellow aristocrat was powerful and a good ally in combat. There was strength in numbers, and while Astrea would not bow, she could certainly follow along with the motions. "Flipendo."
The warm uniform overcast of light suddenly wavered and Astrea's entire attention shot upwards as the suspended candlelights began to flicker, the fire in each bubble shuddering in the prediction of bad news. A building buzz of white noise began to kick in just as the lights went out completely, ominous background noise to the piercing screams that erupted from the student body now encased in darkness and Astrea began to immediately berate every single piece of her who had decided that yes, coming to a secretive 'ball'- if you could even call it that- on a night in which could easily be turned against all of them in once fell swoop. The stars were their only dim light in a night of darkness, the only thing that was keeping Astrea from staring destitute of vision as her vision slowly began to recover and readjust. Idiot. She was a complete and utter idiot.
The dark was blindingly all too sudden to have prepared for it and coupled with the annoyingly unnecessary reaction rendered Astrea blind and deaf to whatever was coming next, and wholly aware of it. From Ana's reaction to the whole thing, it seemed that she shared the same idea and although significantly cruder than Astrea would ever dare, the other had a point. If everyone would stop- stop everything and actually be useful for once in their soft lives, then perhaps they could actually do something about their current predicament.
Forgive Astrea for being bitter but a growing sense of cold trepidation growing within her coupled with the reminder that complete and utter chaos had happened too many times at events like this made her increasingly more annoyed. If people actually cared for their health in the near future, maybe they would have some idea to do something about it. There was a palpable tension to her as she stood, the combination of Dale's sheer presence against her perpetually passive unease leaving her at a thready balance.
"A plan?" Her tone was, while on edge, just on that side of carefully collected and expectant that made it feel just a tad more plastic than usual.Active Action: Casting Flipendo at Vladimir.
TLDR; Astrea's getting more suspicious and over everything by the post. She takes up position next to Dale and Ana, fires Flipendo at Vladimir, and awaits commands as the lights go out.

It had always been Adam's desire to help everyone he could, as often as he could -- but since getting to Hogwarts, he had started to realize that that policy could use some updating. It was noble and good enough to want to protect his classmates, but when they were so hell-bent on getting themselves into arguments and fights, it started to seem a little pointless after a while. In his time at the castle, Adam had witnessed a few fights and heard about plenty more. He supposed that the blame was really on whoever had decided to give a bunch of moody teenagers magical weapons, but hey, kids were unpredictable. Surely the founders hadn't expected this much brawling. As his friends dropped away one by one, the sounds of a scuffle reached Adam's ears, but he tried to tune them out and pay attention to his present company. If someone wanted to start a fight, they could finish it on their own. He wouldn't get involved.
When the candles began to flicker, however, it was a different story. Adam couldn't ignore a warning sign like that one, especially when the dying light plunged the pitch into darkness. They were getting no light from the moonless sky -- Adam could barely see Alexx's face anymore. Briefly, he wondered how someone had managed to get through the protective bubbles, but on closer inspection they looked untouched. There was something bizarre happening here. Bizarre...and probably dangerous.
Adam turned to Alexx and gave her an apologetic frown that she probably couldn't even see. Oh well, it was the thought that counted. He'd be sure to explain everything to her later. "I'm sorry, I have to go check on my friends. If Cecily gets caught up in something, I'll never hear the end of it. Sorry! It was nice talking! Stay safe!" He turned and jogged in the direction of the dance floor, noticing with a sinking feeling that the band had stopped playing. It was a logical response to the sudden shift in atmosphere, but it still didn't do much to ease Adam's worries. Especially given the fact that, without the bright music to disguise it, a buzzing noise had settled over the pitch. The blonde boy couldn't tell what it was, but he didn't like it. He had promised himself that he wouldn't freak out, but the pressure was definitely on, and his heart was racing. Where had Cecily gone?
She hadn't given a destination, only mentioned something about cupcakes before heading off. Should he check the dessert table? No, she'd be gone by now. As he maneuvered through the crowd, Adam heard voices starting to fill the air again as the students went into crisis mode. Dozens of incantations were muttered by his classmates, and Adam realized that they had the right idea. It might blow their cover, but the Wand-Lighting Charm was their best bet at fighting the darkness. Slipping his wand into his hand, Adam held it aloft and whispered "Lumos," praying for a successful cast and some extra light to go with it.
He had to get this situation under control. If not the entire dance, then at least the parts that he could manage. Adam didn't know where Cecily had gone, but he did know that Reid and Rosie had been coming over this way to dance together; they were likely still nearby. Without an idea of what else to do, Adam cupped one hand around his mouth and shouted out for them, hoping that they'd be able to identify his voice (or even hear it over the crowd). "Reid! Rosie! Guys! Are you okay? Where are you guys?!"
It wasn't time to race for the emergency brooms just yet, but it was clear that whatever disaster they were facing here was just beginning. Adam had an uneasy feeling in his chest that he couldn't shake. He should never have forced Cecily to come along. They'd both known the inevitable risk. Now it was too late, and he just had to hope that she was okay, wherever she was. If there was any luck left for the students of Hogwarts, they'd all be okay.
Yeah, right.

Secret Blossom Ball
The silence following Søren’s question was enough to let him know he would not get very far with this girl. He was beginning to think the boy who had left her sprawled on the ground, covered in food, had the right idea. There was only so much he could say to someone who refused to respond to him. Despite studying social situations and conversations for his entire life, he was stumped by this interaction and he knew that if he pressed further, he could very well cross the line drawn between extroverted and inappropriate. He did not come to Hogwarts to cross that line, so the boy followed suit and kept his mouth closed as the two of them cleared up the mess on the floor.
With failing solutions for getting the girl the open up racing through his mind, Søren missed the fighting and cursing going down around the pitch. When the lights became dimmer around him, though, he looked up to see the girl observing the grounds. He tried to get their eyes to meet, but darkness swooped in like a blanket over the area, and the once brightly illuminated face of the girl across from him was now nothing but a vague outline. His initial thought was not one of incoming danger.
“Must be time for a special show,” he mumbled and got up from the floor. When the buzzing started, a sinking feeling made its way into Søren’s bones. It very well could have been nothing to worry about. The organisers probably had a fun show up their sleeves or maybe someone removed the enchantment on the candles in preparation for a teacher’s appearance. There was no indication of this, though. No alarms. No hushed whispers spreading through the crowd of students carrying word of approaching professors. Nothing.
At this moment, only two things impelled their way into Søren’s mind. The first was that horrid buzzing noise. It was grating and loud, getting under his skin in the worst ways. He never had experience with this kind of noise before, which likely meant bad things. The second was the note attached to the suit of armour at the entrance to the pitch.
‘In the event of emergency, please grab a partner and fly back to the castle as quickly as possible’
It was too soon for him to deem this an emergency, but it certainly felt like one.
He was so absorbed in his thoughts that the girl’s voice caused him to jump. Her disembodied request was lighter than before; her words were less harsh. Though, her ragged personality still shone through with the use of the word mosquito. He was about to tell her off but pulled back. Being on a nickname basis was good, right? And was she talking about Lumos? Wasn’t that one of the first charms they learnt this year? And one of the most useful ones at that? How did she forget the incantation?
“No, cupcake frosting, I can’t cast Lumos. That’s the name of the spell, by the way. Lumos,” he sighed, but enunciated the last word slowly and clearly. He would have to workshop the nickname though. Cupcake frosting was a bit too long, but it fit the setting and the frosting that had stood out on her dark sweater before the lights went out. When her second request came, Søren knew what he had to do.
“Brilliant idea, cupcake frosting. Let’s go,” he replied, grabbing the girl by the hand and leading her to the entrance where the rack of school brooms stood. He was surprised by the lack of resistance he felt while pulling her along. He only grasped her hand out of instinct as well as it being the instructions on the note, but he fully expected her to wring her wrist out of his hold. She didn’t. “What do you think it is? Just a show? Maybe the fireworks? Or a teacher coming? Do you think we need to get on the brooms? Or are we just paranoid? Have you heard that buzzing sound before? It’s terrible,” and he went on rambling as he grabbed a school broom off the rack and mounted it, pulling the girl on with him as well.
Flying up into the air felt heavier than usual, but Søren had not ever flown with a second person on his broom before. He laughed nervously, trying to diffuse the tension in his own body as well as the girl’s. “Packing some weight there, cupcake frosting?” as soon as the words came out of his mouth, he wished he had bit them back. Søren was rarely ever nervous, but when he was, he had the talent of saying all the wrong things. “Joke. That was a joke, by the way. I’m joking,” he said with a locked jaw and then pressed his lips together so nothing else would come pouring out. Unable to converse any longer, he stretched his neck and looked around the pitch, trying to identify the source of the buzzing.Action: Mounting School Broom with Calanthe and trying to spot the source of the noise

Thora rubbed a sleeve roughly over her eyes as she tried to rub away the apparent darkness that was beginning to obscure her vision. She hadn't noticed anyone casting a spell on her, so why was everything slowly darkening and even her own sweater not nearly as clear before? It wasn't until she looked up, past the taller people around her, and to the floating candles (which were quite pretty, she noticed) that didn't seem nearly as bright as they should be. In fact, they were dimming, and fast, too.
What had she really expected? She wasn't exactly one for the pessimistic, but she couldn't really say that she didn't see disaster coming. The Masquerade had not all gone well, and there had been plenty of professors attending that one. But now, the fact that this ball had been student-planned basically meant that no professors knew. They would be much too far away to get help fast when they needed it, seeing that this was happening unbeknownst to authority. Thora had hoped the students could cope, at least for a while, and have a little fun (those who had come for that purpose, at least), but it seemed that trouble had already befell them.
As if impending complete darkness wasn't already enough for mostly inexperienced wizards, honestly speaking, it was paired with a sound. A buzzing reached Thora's ears accompanied by the lively conversation around her, but even as she peered around, nothing in sight seemed like the source of the sound. Perhaps her vision was just impaired by the lack of lighting, or something was hiding in plain sight, but she quickly gave up on looking for it. It would be a major problem, she was sure, but now wasn't the time to deal with it. Besides, she was on a separate mission, and there were enough investigators--Bridget included, apparently, as Thora spotted her best friend mounting her broom. She would be absolutely sure to jump in the moment danger was spotted, but for now, it could wait just a few seconds, couldn't it?
"RUN!" A command that was hopefully not directed at her rang through the buzzing, loud and piercing to the girl. Upon noticing that it had come from the little cluster of people whom Opeila happened to be in, and which was what Thora'd originally been making her way towards, green eyes narrowed. So problems were simultaneously arising everywhere. As everything was reduced to an oppressing blackness, a scream could be heard, practically rocking the small second year on her feet.
The dark was scary. Anything could be hiding, lurking, plotting, waiting for its chance to pounce. A single incantation was spoken over and over, whether muttered or pronounced loudly, and was probably indeed one of the smartest decisions to make. "Lumos," she said, attempting to hide all of her fear under the surface again. Now wasn't the time to show weakness. It simply couldn't be.
"Do you have any idea where to go next?" she muttered to Tyranni, glancing around (would be the same independent of success of Lumos). There was too much to take in, too much to investigate, and too much to be learned, but what else was new? The overwhelming feeling was nothing she wasn't used to, but she hated that it had to be happen even in a time such as this. If only she could see. Everything wouldn't be fixed, but at least something could be done.
