Peter liked Hogwarts, and the balls, and such things, he just never seemed to interact or even catch sight of the best friend. The last time they saw each other, they didn’t get off very well. He didn’t even know if Brookline even wanted to see him. He usually was in the Hogwarts Study Room or the outdoors. A few times he would find himself in the Library. Which was peculiar, unless Brookline was with friends she should have been in the Library, he knew the Ravenclaw girl loved reading as much as the next kid did.
Strolling around Hogwarts, Peter soon found himself in the Study Room where he spotted a bookshelf. How have I not found this place? He asked himself silently before snatching a book of the shelf, his arms tingling with excitement. He hadn’t read a book in such a long time, and he grabbed a chair from a table. This time attending Hogwarts was going completely different. She could never expect such arrival and later found herself searching for Amber and finding her in the forbidden forest late at night. Perhaps, Kaya should keep an eye on her bestie more nowadays.
Walking with these thoughts, Kaya found herself near study room and decided to go inside. Spotting a bookshelf, she came closer to see if she could find anything to help her find a way to help Amber. Grabbing a book she looked around and noticed a guy sitting with a book near him. If she was right, she saw him at arrival but she didn't know him.
Coming closer and sitting down Kaya looked at the book that was near him and then at him. Hi, sorry to bother you but what are you reading? Pausing for a second she continued. Perhaps you could recommend me something. She smiled softly. Remembering that she never introduced herself, she glanced at him once again. I'm Kaya Rose Bennett from Ilvermorny.
She wasn't reading often, choosing to be more outside the castle. However, there still were plenty of times when one could find her with a book and after quite unfortunate arrival at Hogwarts couple of days ago, Kaya desperately needed to distract herself. She had to stay calm. She had to handle it well. And perhaps, she wasn't supposed to leave Amber alone for a long time either. Her bestie was making her feel rather worried.

The book was called Alice In Wonderland, and he liked it so far. There was multiple copies on the shelf so he just grabbed one. And for some reason. he just didn’t feel like he was supposed to be here in this Study Room.
“Hi, sorry to bother you but what are you reading?”
A voice startled Peter out of the book and unfortunate thoughts. “Oh hi. Erm, Alice In Wonderland.” He stuck a finger on his page and shut the book to shoe the girl the cover. The girl smiled, and asked for recommendations on books.
You should go ask my friend, Brookline. She should be round here somewhere, you’d think she’d be in here or the library. He thought but decided to keep that to himself. “Well then, I would suggest my favorite book, The Outsiders but I’m not quite sure if that book is at Hogwarts.” He added a nonchalant shrug to his words.
Then the girl introduced herself as Kaya Rose Bennett from Ilvermorny. “Hello Kaya. Pleasure to meet you, I’m Peter. Peter Smith from Beauxbatons.” He set his book down and gave the girl a small smile.two hundred and forty- seven (247) words and thread private to @Kaya Rose Bennett (@Linda Ramirez)

Kaya looked curiously at the cover of the book and thought for a while. It wasn't something she heard about, perhaps it was yet another one from non-maj world? She sighed. So many things that she didn't know about. It looks interesting. Could you tell me more about it? Did the question sound ridiculous to him? She didn't know. Kaya didn't want to know the answer to this question.
Books. She didn't know why her questions so far were all about them. Perhaps it just seemed like a good beginning. Guess I could try to look for it in Ilvermorny or Canada. She smiled, getting out of her thoughts.
Nice to meet you, Peter. Beauxbatons? A school that seemed to have elegance in everything they did. Kaya was fascinated by their carriages. Although she had to admit that this year it was rather bad experience. The type that would haunt her. Especially with all that was going on ever since that day.
So, what do you like to do? She asked, hoping that her face didn't show all sadness that she felt. It was a lot to handle and she still had a feeling of worry over her best friend. Sleepless nights didn't help much either. Kaya wanted to forget about it. But how did she expect it to disappear so easy?

However! He would answer. He should be polite, his mother always said, and he would not answer begrudgingly.
Peter nodded, showing that he heard Kaya and thinking about the book he grabbed, Alice in Wonderland. "I'm only a bit through the book, but this young girl named Alice follows the White Rabbit into a rabbit hole, falling into this fantasy, absurd world called Wonderland. I'm a half-blood though, and I've seen the movie. The movie is similar, and Alice keeps changes her size, due to all the cakes and drinks she consumes, there's a un-ending tea party, and Alice meets the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts. At the end, though, just before the deck of cards (soldiers of the Queen of Hearts), seize her, she wakes up, realizing this crazy world is all a dream." Peter realized that might have been a misunderstanding, because if he had read the book first, he wouldn't understand much. He was grateful his mum and sister had persuaded to watch all these movies.
"Does... does that make sense? The movie and book really is senseless and preposterous." He asked Kaya and let loose a little chuckle and his green eyes remembered how senseless he thought the movie was when he watched. It took him a while to even understand the movie.
"Nice to meet you too, Kaya." He smiled at the girl, watching her face crumble a little bit as she looked lost in space.
Then just as quick as it came, Kaya's sadness on her face disappeared, and then came another question. He set down his book when he realized he still had in his hands. "I do like to read, and I like hanging out with my friends. Oh, and furthermore, I'm my school's Quiddtch beater. Qudditch is probably my favorite sport. What about you? What do you like to do?"
