Sweets for Your Sweet
@Cecily Quinn | @Aly Salinger
Cecily seemed to agree with most of Dealla's ideas, but Aly had some more thoughts on the topic. Dee's expression was one of pure bemusement when Aly deemed it necessary to point out Professor Stube's nationality, until the following explanation offered some clarity. Quodpot, that was a vaguely familiar term. Very vaguely. She might have heard it once in Flying class and promptly forgotten it, along with everything else she'd learned there. "Oooh," she made, the sound undeniably impressed. "That's smart. No clue if you're right, but I'll just trust you on this one."
Aly also didn't wait for further approval, and thankfully didn't object to being the designated handwriting forger of the trio. Leaning over, Dee watched as the other girl carefully filled the sheet with words, a mixture of what she had suggested and what Aly made of it. The result was likely better than anything Dee could have produced, so she'd take it.
Reading over it once more once Aly was done, Dee nodded in satisfaction. "That should do it," declared said, grinning. "I think we nailed it. Very believable. Good job, Aly. I'll come and ask for your help if I ever need to forge another letter."
Aly was off before she knew it, and Dee gave Cecily another conspiratorial smile. "I think we make a good team, don't you? That should brighten Professor Iwasaki's day for sure. See you later, enjoy your cupcake!"
Satisfied with a forgery well done, Dee gathered her own cupcakes and letters, carrying them over to the Gryffindor table so they could be delivered to their recipients the next day. How very fulfilling, playing cupid. If the two professors did end up dating, Dee would never stop patting herself on the back for it.
