Cazares is more than just a name that makes rule-breaking students quake in their boots. Without fail, Ruby has achieved a perfect grade across the board, a remarkable feat that is now paying dividends in her final year of education at Hogwarts.

Ruby comes in two flavors. One 'regular' rare card that offers two active abilities: Spell Spread and Unrelenting both of which do damage in unique ways.

The Full Foil card of Ruby Cazares has no active abilities but does have two passive abilities instead and it also changes Ruby from a balanced witch to one who favors attacking. The passive abilities Fearless and Master Duellist allow Ruby to stay in the fight longer, or at least go down swinging.

At 7, Ruby is certainly a high cost card, but all those years of relentless study are sure to pay off on the battlefield!

@Elisa Wagner creating an artwork resembling Mackenzie Foy's likeness proved to be a bit tricky (of course, the watercolor variant I quickly generated right before posting this pretty much nailed the likeness ). Eventually I took inspiration from some of your threads that emphasize Elisa's loneliness and went for a more distant and remote view, thereby also intentionally obscuring the likeness somewhat.

Now, since I wasn't sure if this would be to your liking I have also made an additional card that also takes inspiration from one of your threads and quotes Elisa. Whether the girl illustrated in that additional third card is Elisa or not, I'll leave up to you. I think she could be.

This is why you'll receive three prints instead of the usual two. Please note however that the third, additional card is marked as 'U' for uncommon. Uncommon cards have a higher mintage (50) than rare cards (10). In order to avoid unfairness, only 1 copy of this additional card will be registered as belonging to you while the remaining 49 will be purchasable by others.

@June Selwyn Like with Elisa before you, achieving the likeness proved a bit challenging. Eventually I got to two that I felt represented June's FC accurately, so in case you're unhappy with the current art, I can always try swapping it out for the other candidate. Any attempts to inpaint the background to something more Hogwarts-centered didn't yield acceptable results, so you'll just have to imagine this is June watching her Broom Racing team lose again practicing from some nondescript platform by the Great Lake, or some such.

The only people who haven't heard of Maggie Hawkins are deaf people.

For the low price of 4, Maggie Hawkins can now be a part of your lineup and start taking names and kicking butt. When Maggie uses Slap you better hide your babies bubbas, because this girl has a mean swing in her, and the same goes for her magic. On the foil version of Maggie's card, her Dragon Heartstring wand core comes into effect and she can dole out damage beyond the typical means of those in her year. All you have to decided is if you want to humilate your enemy the old-fashioned way or if you prefer atomizing them with a bit of magic.

@Maggie Hawkins I couldn't find a whole lot of good reference for an age-appropriate Winona Ryder, so I ended up leaning more toward Millie Bobby Brown as the facial structure is similar. I had a hard time picking the final art because there was always something missing from each attempt, like her glasses, or the gap between her teeth. So my ultimate pick(s) are perhaps a bit of a compromise on how you have Maggie described in your ency and what references I could find of Winona. This is also why I have used separate art for the regular and gold version of the cards.

For the regular card, which features Maggie reading a magazine, that's a bit of a nod back to our first ever thread together. Maggie still owes Finn a newspaper, you know. I've included one more element on these cards that is unique to Maggie, but I'll leave that for you to discover.

Note, the watercolor is not the primary art, I'm just OCD about maintaining a degree of consistency between deliveries.
