Your Character's HIO Trading Card -α- Limited Alpha Print Run!
Sorry for yet another ping, but I wanted to clarify something about the "flavor text" since I've been receiving questions about it.
Originally my intention was to put the flavor text on the card itself, but I don't have the visual space to fit a quote, flavor text and a card's abilities all in the same area.
So what I did for Xailah's card (and what I will do for yours if you don't supply your own text) is write a short accompanying note for the card. Think of it as a background lore or information note that is paired with the card. It has no gameplay value and just serves as a bit of detailing.
If you do supply your own text it will still go with the card, but it will also aid me in finding a theme for your card. Consider it like a bit of creative direction. As before, supplying your own flavor text remains entirely optional however. You can refer to the note accompanying Xailah's card to get a rough idea of what I consider flavor text.
The limitation on 300 characters is dropped. If you supply your own text, I'd still encourage you to aim for under 500 words, but I won't impose a hard limit.

Astra, the Wildcard comes in several prints.
- A large BBCode version.
- A mini BBCode version.
- A 'regular' print with black border and the card's Potential set to the lower bound of Astra's calculated potential: 4.9. At present, we value this card at 0 ⬤ 5 ⬤.
- A rare print with a luxurious golden foil border and the card's Potential set to Astra's maximum at 5.9. At present, we value this unique card at 2 ⬤.
A0015 - AstraReducioThe first thing anyone is likely to notice about Astra is her ginger hair. The second is that the old adage about redheads and hot tempers is, at least in her case, absolutely true.
Wild and reckless, Astra tends to enter other people's lives with all the briskness and patience of a whirlwind. It would be easy to relegate her to the rank-and-file of ne'er-do-wells that keep prefects from having dull patrols. But nothing is ever that simple.
Unless it's Charms, of course.
Astra’s penchant for harmless fun becomes rather alarming when combined with her wand-work. Most second-years aren't exactly known for their self-restraint, and Astra? She's no exception. A flick here, a swish there, and before you can say Flitwick, the room is ablaze with brightly coloured sparks. For everyone but Astra, it might be a blessing in disguise that not all subjects come so easily to her.
Though still young, Astra’s ambitions burn brightly. She isn’t content with being just another student; she has a legacy of powerful and independent witches to live up to. The potential for greatness is there, but Astra is still learning to balance her gifts with wisdom. Even a tempest must calm to gather strength, and Astra finds hers in the stars and the yellowed pages of her favourite books.
The girl brims with potential. But which of the many paths open to her is the right one? Before long, the painful truth will dawn on her that she must make a choice. Will it be her broom-racing that defines her? Or will her mind turn to music and charms, finding a creative way to combine the two? Perhaps she will continue to charge heedlessly into danger—perhaps that is her calling. Yet the night sky still holds so many unexplored wonders, far too many for even a lifetime of study. Is that not a worthy pursuit?
Perhaps the greatest riddle Astra could turn her mind to solving is that of her own purpose. What shall Astra the Wildcard become?

a pale young man with freckles and silver eyes, ivory colored hair parted to the side, bump on the bridge of his nose, wearing a dark gray short-sleeved button up shirt over a black turtleneck, black pants and boots
Eyepatches can turn out weird or change the structure of the face completely in these, so I usually go without and edit the right eye to make it white or black, let me know if I can help with this!

However, it is Violeta's unique parselmouth ability that sets her apart. Using this ability, Violeta can take control of an opponent's snake creature whose recruitment cost is 1 or 2 and set it against your enemy. You will notice several significant changes to the card format. These changes have been made for gameplay purposes and also to speed up the delivery of cards going forward. Here are all changes made:@Violeta Roux Specific to your card, I originally made the watercolor art shown at the top of this post, but I was unable to stylistically fit it with the new card frame, so there is different art on the final card. You can use
- Your character's house now determines the card color. Each house has a unique card frame.
- Each card now features only three, rounded values. These are: cost, attack, and defense.
- Rank and Potential as well as your character's on-site stats are still used to calculate the cost & attack & defense values. Howver, Rank, Potential and your character's on-site stats have no gameplay meaning in the card game. The only meaningful values are those listed on the card.
- There is no longer an extensive, character-specific text accompanying each card. These took a lot of time to make and slowed down production of other cards by a lot.
- A BBCode print of your card and/or a BBCode collection folder will now be supplied per request since not everyone uses these and they're of limited added value. Owl me if you want one (or both) of these anyway.
- To compensate for the above, the price for a card is now reduced for everyone to 4 galleons. This reduced rate applies to this card and all future cards.
