I think only 30 people could take the class even though it is a completely online class. I still could have participated in one of the shows, but practices overlap with my classes.

How are online shows? We did ours in person- through mask mandates- except we didn't have to wear ours

o.o; I see. I think most of our stuff was online or postponed, though it's all opened up again as of late.

The class just works on what shows could potentially be performed and figures out set and such. Performances are done on the stage, right now without masks, but sometimes with face shields and streamed for the public. There was a thing were fifteen people could each record their lines for a 'mini show' and everything was edited together of those people just reading theirs lines back and forth with each other.

Anyone can participate in the shows, they do not have to be in the class, it is just highly recommended.
