Club Description: This is a IC club that meets once a month. If you are interested in fashion, this is the place for you! You can experiment being a designer or a model and see what you have a talent for in this safe space. Randomly assigned roles ensures you can eventually dabble in both and see if something in particular calls to you. At the end of 3 months, designers will present an outfit to Kim and their models will show them off on their bodies at the club. Kim will give out points to each member for the outfit they design and how the model portrayed it (via Tatsu). At the end of the year, the club will host a show in the Great Hall and hold a poll. Whoever wins on the poll becomes the ultimate winner and receives 3 chocolate frogs. The top 20 with the highest points in the club are eligible to join and are randomly sorted into an equal number of designers and models.

PARTNERS:

Grouping - Members will be randomly sorted (by Tatsu) into designers and models. Your role will be kept for 3 meetings (3 months). At the end of 3 meetings, members will be randomly sorted again. This is to keep things fresh and for everyone to have a chance to experiment in both roles. If you are chosen for the same role more than 2 times in a row, it will be automatically changed to the other role. If there is an uneven amount of members, the extra ones will be given the role of model. Designers can have more than one model working for them but models can only have one designer.

ROLES:

Designer - They design and create outfits for the models to present to the viewers. Please provide a picture, sketch, drawing, painting or image of your outfit for the yearly competition. You may also provide pictures/sketches of your outfit every 3 months too but that is not required.
Model - Self-explanatory, you are a model that wears the outfit your designer gives you and tries to promote it as much as possible. You don't need to be the "beauty standard" to be a model.

ACTIVITIES:

Once you obtain your role, you will keep that role for 3 meetings. During this time, you will work on designing or preparing to model your outfit based off of a common theme Kim gives you.

Designers must come up with a design that fits the theme and is also something their model(s) would be comfortable wearing too. Models need to practice their walking, how to pose and stand while showing off their outfits and learn how to use their expressions and body language to portray things. They must also ensure they do not gain weight and be unable to fit into the outfits later on.

At each meeting a game is held at the beginning to break the ice and also to see either what random items you must include in your design if you are a designer, or what random items you must carry or use on your body when showing off your outfit if you are a model. Both will be determined randomly by Tatsu. Everyone will get the option to choose letters and those letters will reveal what you must include in your design. Similar in nature to cooking shows like Chopped etc... what is bad is that since you don't know what you will get, it can make things easier or more difficult. You could end up with two people getting only random items included in the design but nothing the model needs to wear or carry with them. Or you might get random items the model has to wear or carry and nothing to be added to the initial design of the outfit.

The 3rd meeting is when designers will present an outfit to Kim and their models will show them off on their bodies after presentation. At the end of the meeting, Kim will give out points to each member for the outfit they design and how the model portrayed it (via Tatsu). You must post at least 3 times in this thread to be eligible for points. If you do not make the 3 post requirement, you will not receive any points. If one member of a pair meets the requirement but the other does not, only the person who fulfills the requirement gets the points. If you miss 2 meetings in a row (which is 2 months), you will be kicked out of the group but are free to rejoin again later.

At the end of the year, the club will host a show in the Great Hall and hold a poll. Whoever wins on the poll becomes the ultimate winner and receives 3 chocolate frogs. The top 20 with the highest points in the club are contestants and are randomly sorted into an equal number of designers and models. You must post at least 2 times in the thread to claim the reward if you win. Please provide a picture, sketch, drawing, painting, or some kind of visual image to show the audience your outfit if you are a designer. The winner will be a designer/model combination.
