Áine Luigsech First Year Gryffindor
Full Name: Áine Luigsech
School Year or Adult Level: First Year
House: Gryffindor (She hates it)
Species: Human (Pure blood)
History/Background Story: She lived with her parents and their house elf Morri. Connor Luigsech and Maeve Luigsech are her parents. They had been in the same year and graduated in 1991. She lived on Tory Island (Toraigh) their family had moved there centuries ago when witches and wizards were forced underground due to the statue of secrecy. She's got a close relationship with her parents and while her mother tried to get her into cooking shes great at it but she's more akin to her father often spending time studying usually history. She lived in a small valley hidden with magic with other wizards. This village has been around for centuries dating back to ancient times but it only vanished off maps when the statue of secrecy went into force. She's well read and educated being homeschooled by her parents who often help in the realm of magical sciences. Her strong suits are reading,writing (although she hates writing) and spelling. Math however while she's proficient she absolutely despises it and finds it boring. Most of her days are spent reading about the middle ages shes fascinated by the muggle king William the Conqueror and other muggles like Julius Caesar or chasing Morri and playing hide and seek when not playing with the other wizard children. Sometimes she'll gather with her play mates play hide and seek however her world has been limited to the edge of valley till now (not that she hasn't tried to sneak out before).
So far at Hogwarts she hasn't done much besides being sorted into Gryffindor much to her dismay she had wanted to be a Slytherin or a Ravenclaw and is upset as being put in with "reckless idiots who don't have brains" instead of actual intellectuals. She's trying to resign herself to the fact the next seven years are going to be of her being the only brain around. She knows her parents would try to console her by saying "just think about it you're in same house as the infamous Harry Potter was!" Not. Helping. She wanted smart people.
First instance of magic: She got very frustrated doing math with her mom. As she got frustrated she did have an autistic meltdown something very very rare for her. However as she was frustrated she lost her cool and then suddenly as she began crying and screaming the math book flew off the table that she and her mom were at and it flew into the wall. That made her fascinated as she grew up seeing her parents use magic at home That was in 2019 when she was 5 years of age and the 8 years between the incident and her coming to Hogwarts were her parents trying to prepare her to live abroad fearing her autism might cause challenges.
Disabilities: She's Autistic and has ADHD. She's got no filter and often will go off topic as well as hyperfixate on random things that catch her interest.

“All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost."
