[font=times new roman]It wasn’t so sudden, there was silence before, and then out of absolutely nowhere the girl before him went from being so tightly wound to being extremely comfortable. Too comfortable. And the shift, so dramatic, so sudden. Why? Just when Wyatt thought he knew what was going on, how the whole situation would play out. Of course, it couldn’t go his way. No, no. How silly of me, Wyatt thought. The second I’ve got the upper hand in an argument after months of-

"Takes one to know one, I guess." Wyatt blinked, aside from that, his face was untelling of how far he was spiraling. Annoyance- no, confusion- no, anger! Yes, anger built up inside him. What the hell did she know? Wyatt opened his mouth to say something, but he stopped when he realized he was at a loss for words. He closed his mouth quickly. His arms were still crossed, but if you looked a little to the left, you’d see his pointer finger tapping his arm at a rapid pace.

Maybe it was that he decided that there was a special place in hell for blood-purists, or maybe it was that this blood-purist just happened to be the most annoying human on planet Earth, but he was more angry than he’d been all summer, which was saying a lot. After quite a long pause, he grit out (as calmly as he could) the question that he had been screaming at her in his head. “What could possibly make you say that? You know nothing about me!”

꧁༒• @Wyatt Starkey •༒꧂
Getting defensive, are you?" She asked calmly, the point in pissing him off more not appealing to her. The way she changed emotions was peculiar, though, never able to hold onto just one feeling. One moment she wanted to embarrass you, one moment she wanted to kill you, and others she was simply unamused. All in the span of seconds, which confused even herself. Alas, as she always did, Lana chose to ignore such a topic and focus on the matter at hand. What was that, you ask? She had no reasonable answer.

She threw up her hands innocently, her eyes dragging upwards into an eye-roll. "No need to raise your voice, Starkey." She gave a sly smile at the using of his last name, unsure if she'd regret it or not. "Though aren't you just as bad as me? You're so quick to spot out my superiorty complex, yet the second I walked into this compartment you wanted nothing to do with me. Could it be that you didn't think I was good enough for you? A word hadn't come out of my mouth yet you still insisted on keeping distance. I'd say you're just as judgemental." She considering the fact that she was rambling, though gave no effort to apologize. Her argument was well thought, an easy strike against the boy.

"My parents didn't hope for me to be in Slytherin. They couldn't care less. If I had really been so embarrassed I could have skipped saying my house altogether. You wouldn't understand because you're so pathetically dimwitted-" For a moment she stopped, her sentence lingering in the air. She brushed a strand of hair behind her hair, eyes flicking back to his."Shall we start over?"

[font=times new roman]"Getting defensive, are you?" Wyatt only grit his teeth in response. She threw up her hands, and it seemed like she was trying her best to come off as innocent. The only person she may have been fooling was herself, and it didn’t even look like she was really buying it. "No need to raise your voice, Starkey." Her patronizing smile made him want to scream. He just scoffed. She wasn’t going to make him lose it. She wasn’t worth his time.

"Though aren't you just as bad as me? You're so quick to spot out my superiority complex, yet the second I walked into this compartment you wanted nothing to do with me. Could it be that you didn't think I was good enough for you? A word hadn't come out of my mouth yet you still insisted on keeping distance. I'd say you're just as judgmental." Wyatt’s finger stopped tapping on his arm and his fists balled up, though his arms remained crossed.

"My parents didn't hope for me to be in Slytherin. They couldn't care less. If I had really been so embarrassed I could have skipped saying my house altogether. You wouldn't understand because you're so pathetically dimwitted-" she stopped herself. Wyatt was sure that if the train wasn’t already moving quite quickly he would’ve stood up and walked out of the compartment immediately, but if he did now, he’d probably fall down.

"Shall we start over?" Start over? Really? After all that, she wanted to start over? They sat there for a bit, the only sound being the excited chatter of students in other compartments. As calmly as possible, he broke the silence. “I believe we’ve gone past the point of no return.” They’d already said so much, too much. “It seems we have already made up our minds about each other. And you don’t seem to be the type that finds it easy to ‘forgive and forget.’”

A pause. “Oh and I’d like to make this very clear. That wasn’t me saying I’d be willing to apologize. I’ve got nothing to apologize for. I am judgmental, but obviously you are too. It feels like we weren’t meant to get along… How disappointing,” he added sarcastically. Wyatt started to think that since the two both thought they were better than each other, they were both tied for the worst.
