S'mores on a Starry Night
Everything had gone according to plan. Percival and Adonis had the bright idea to sneak out to the abandoned campsite and camp for the night. The thought of not only breaking the rules, but also enjoying the starry night was more than the pair could handle.Saturday/ Evening/ 10pm/ 5/9/2020 (Backdated to last Saturday)
The two had spent the majority of their Potions class talking about how they should go about setting up a full proof plan. That was when a girl in their class, Alina Rosier, had piped up. She seemed fairly good at planning the thing, and the two allowed her to come as a way to say thank you.
The plan was fairly simple:
1. Everyone brings one thing that they needed for the camping trip
2. Sneak out and meet by the lake
3. Once everyone was there walk to the campground
Percival thought their plan was fairly full proof. His item was to bring the ingredients to make s' mores. The chocolate sadly had to be replaced with a couple of chocolate frogs. Though he hoped that there would be no problems.
Adonis and he were planning to walk down to the lake together. Seeing how the two were in the same dorm. When the clock read 10:00 pm, Percival snuck out of the dorm his food items were being carried in his school bag. Walking towards the door, Percival put a finger to his lips. Percival spent the walk hiding in the shadows and walking at a fairly quick pace. Percival hadn't told anyone except the people going. Not even his dormmates knew for security reasons.
The boy hoped that he was not walking too quickly for Adonis. Though it could hardly be helped. They had to make it as quickly out of the castle as possible to avoid detection.
Once the pair had made their way onto the dirt path that led to the Great Lake. He began to feel much better. "That went better than expected." he chuckled looking to the boy next to him. "Have you been to the Campsite before?" he asked swinging his arms slightly.
Percival stood underneath a tree as they waited for the other person of their little party to show up. He thought how strange it was to not be with Hanako. The two had been fairly inseparable so far this first year. Now it felt odd that other was still sleeping while he broke the rules.
"She better get here soon." he muttered to Adonis.

Alina had become skilled at climbing trees from a rather young age. Their estate in Surrey rested on over 58 acres including wooded areas and she shook her head. Boys! Always doubting. She grabbed a twig and pulled it off from it's larger branch before letting it fall down in the direction of where the two Slytherin boys stood.
"I'm telling you, I'm stealthy like a fox," she said to them and hopped her little self down. She was looking forward to the evening because as much as she did love the enchanted castle, she did miss being out among nature. "And I brought my things," she brought a little more than the one thing but it really wasn't much and she went to get her bag out from behind that same tree.
"So we should probably set up camp first," she figured that would be the first step for their campout, "and then we can figure out what we want to do next. Some ideas I had were flashlight tag, hide and seek, going for a hike, swimming, or telling ghost stories." And of course have s'mores. Maybe, just maybe, it was the thought of a chocolate and marshmallow sandwich that caused her to want to come along in the first place.
Let your confidence shine, pretty girl.

S'mores on a Starry Night
Adonis was more than excited to get on their way to the campsite after him and Percival had discussed it during class practically the only entire time on Friday. He was sad though looking back on it that it was potions being that it was one of his favorite classes alongside Defense Against the Dark Arts. But he figured it would all be worth it in the end once they pulled off their plan.
Later on in Defense Against the Dark Arts he had been paired up with a girl named Ersa Murtaugh and had told her about the plan to sneak out to the abandoned campsite and camp there to watch the starry night. He had made sure to assign her to bringing something by telling her to bring two pillows and maybe even some candy for them. Adonis himself had personally brought two blankets for the tent after agreeing on what was best for them.
As the clock struck 10:00 PM, Adonis swiftly and quietly snuck out of their dorm with Percival right beside him. It wasn't too much of a problem to keep up with him, the boy had plenty of stamina to keep him up to pace in staying alongside him as they snuck out. As soon as they touched the dirt beneath their feet, Adonis let out a sigh of relief at their successful attempt at sneaking out. Everything was going according to plan so far. "Thank god. I was worried we were going to get caught for a second there. No, I haven't been to the campsite before as this will be my first time going tonight." He said in response to Percival, giving a shake of his head.
Adonis stood alongside Percival while waiting for the others to show up that they had invited to join them that night. "By the way, I invited someone I got partnered up with in class yesterday during DADA. They should be coming too and bringing pillows I told them. Maybe even candy, not entirely too sure." The boy said with a shrug, looking around to scan their surroundings now as to make sure no one else was out that could catch them. All of this made him filled with adrenaline, it was pretty exciting to say the least. This feeling that he felt and got from sneaking out. Adonis liked it very much. He was always so engrossed in his studies that he never really made time for shenanigans such as these but he figured after tonight that maybe he would tryout more things like this.
Adonis nearly shat his pants when the branch landed in front of the two boys, jumping up slightly at the sudden movement in surprise when she also came down with it shortly after. "Bloody hell! You scared me." He said in a hushed voice, furrowing his brows. His features then began to soften over time and he slowly nodded at her words. "Flashlight tag and just everything else you mentioned sounds like a lot of fun. Well, everything but swimming. Maybe. I just get really cold easily." Adonis chuckled slightly and scratched his head awkwardly.

S'mores on a Starry Night
Ersa hovered near the edge of her bed, looking down at her trunk. It was open and many things lay inside but she wasn't sure which to pick. Earlier during Defense Against the Dark Arts her partner, Adonis, had told her about a secret gathering at the campsite. He invited her and told her to bring things like pillows and candy but she didn't exactly have enough to share. Even if she didn't Ersa didn't like sharing how own things, especially treats, and these were her favorite.
She knew that she couldn't spend too much time pondering, she had a curfew to break. Ersa sighed almost inaudibly and shut the lid of her trunk. She gazed around her dorm casually; the other girls were either sleeping, studying, or doing something other than pay attention to the young Slytherin.
Quietly, in order not to disturb them, Ersa took the spare pillow off her bed and started to make her way out the dorm but then she stopped. Pursing her lips in exasperation, she turned back around and went to her trunk, sifting through its contents for a moment. After a few seconds she pulled out a small box of ice cream cones which varied in flavor. Ersa usually ate them by themselves but she knew that they could use them for s'mores, too.
She snuck out the dormitory, which was easy because people rarely noticed her presence anyways, and made her way out. It was just under curfew so she doubted anyone would notice for now. Ersa had brought along a satchel to throw her pillow and the snack into, along with a tie-dye blanket and a flashlight for emergencies. She also stashed some snacks at the bottom in case she didn't like anything that the other kids brought.
She managed to not get caught, taking the routes she usually took for classes in order to avoid traffic during the day. Soon enough Ersa was making her way outside. She was glad that she had chosen to wear her black hoodie and sweatpants to avoid the bugs and the cool weather.
Ersa wondered who the other kids were. She had only really spoken to Adonis and she faintly recognize the name Percival, although many students seemed to hold that name at the school. Nevertheless, she was just excited to be outside. The night sky was beautiful, speckled with stars that were surrounded by blackness and greyish clouds. The air was rather refreshing compared to the castle, which often smelled old despite how much perfume the other first year girls sprayed everywhere.
"Bloody hell! You scared me." That was Adonis, she could tell. Ersa quickly made her way over, her eyes full of curiosity. She found that she hadn't been the one to surprise him, given her silent footsteps, but another girl, who had been in the trees. The corner of Ersa's lip lifted; the fun already seemed to have begun.
"Flashlight tag and just everything else you mentioned sounds like a lot of fun," he continued. "Well, everything but swimming. Maybe. I just get really cold easily."
"Same," Ersa chimed, emerging from seemingly nowhere. "I'm Ersa. What are we going to do first?"

"Alina, Alina Rosier," she looked at the three who all happened to be Slytherins and for a moment she wondered if any of them had befriended her twin sister Bella who was a Slytherin but she didn't want to go into that right now. Right now, they were ready to start their night of adventure and she felt happy there was another girl in the ranks. "Well," she glanced up, "I would think its rather dark for a hike. I say we get in some rounds of flashlight tag and then can rest by the fire if that's what sounds good to everyone else," she looked to the boys and then went to her bag.
"I managed to gather up some EZ Glow Luminous Orbs," and she handed out the small spheres that fit into their hands and almost looked like miniature versions of crystal balls. "All you have to do is place it in the palm of one hand, cover it with your other hand, and think of light. It should then illuminate for a given length of time before it dims again. Same goes for putting it out...just think of darkness."
If they were like her, they hadn't mastered the Lumos spell to use their wands and Alina Rosier may have known the term "flashlight tag" when it came to nightime tag and lights, but she didn't know what a flashlight really was. She thought it was more like flashes of light.

Percival glanced towards Adonis as the other explained he had invited someone else to their little camping trip. "She better have not told anyone. We don't need word getting around that we're doing this." he said with a small frown.
The boy's gaze drifted away from the other, and he watched the water shimmer in the moonlight.
His ears perked up slightly as he heard a small crack nearby. Confusion spread through his being, though he chopped it up to a deer foraging. Percival's gaze snapped to the ground as a branch fell in front of the pair.
Percival whirled around to look up at the tree seeing the girl perched on top of a tree branch.
"Seriously Alina? Why in the world would you climb a tree?" he asked rubbing the back of his neck.
Percival's ire was quickly cleared up as Alina began to discuss what she had planned for the evening. The boy knew all the activities except flashlight tag. "Um could you explain what flashlight tag is?" he asked in a slightly confused voice.
The boy glanced towards the newcomer as she quickly made her way over. "Are you the girl Adonis invited?" he asked. "My names Percival." he said holding out his hand for her to shake. His father always did tell him that handshakes were what sealed the deal.
Percival looked towards Alina as she spoke. He took the crystal ball into his hand moving it from one hand to the next. "We should wait till we go to the Campgrounds before we light them. Don't want anyone to accidentally see us." he said with a small nod.
Percival looked towards where the Campground should be. A small dirt path led into the forest that would take them to the site. "Come on it should be this way." he said as he made his way into the cover of the trees.

The path led straight into the trees, trailing off into the darkness as if being swallowed whole by it. Alina wondered if that wasn't some sort of weird irony here and that maybe the four of them would reach a similar fate. That wouldn't deter her from going though, it was something to be investigated. She grabbed her bag, placing her illuminating sphere inside, and began to follow Percival, Adonis, and Ersa into the grove of trees that would provide them protection from any wandering eyes that might be out there on the grounds of Hogwarts.
She hoped that her eyes would adjust soon because she wanted to see everything that there was to see, but until then she stayed close to the others and kept on walking. They had a destination sight in mind and needed to get there. And, as difficult as it was, she remained quiet, not sure if it was safe for them to talk or not. Once they got to the campgrounds, surely there should be plenty of safety and solitude for their game of tag, discussions, or anything else they might partake in that night.
"I'm glad you came," she whispered to Ersa. It evened out their group and there wouldn't be an odd man out.

"Are you the girl Adonis invited?" he asked.@Percival Rainwood, @Alina Rosier, & @Adonis Thorn
"Probably," she yawned.
"My names Percival." He held out his hand to her.
Ersa shook it, used to it as well but for different reasons, then took a good look at everyone else, or as good as she could in the darkness. She could see Adonis, who she stood next to. She could usually make out his curly brown hair and tanned skin, which she found a nice combination. Percival was a blonde who sort of reminded her of one of those princes from fairy tales, with the hair swept to the side and that...'look' on his face.
Then there was the other girl, the one who she felt like she had seen before in the common room, but by a different name. Ersa had seen her give the boys a shout when she dropped the stick and came down from the tree. Ersa thought it was actually quite funny, like anything that involved scaring the opposite gender, but she came her face expressionless for the moment, only nodding curtly at the girl. She was sort of glad that she would be the only female amongst the group.
"We should wait till we go to the Campgrounds before we light them," said Percival, taking one of the crystal balls into his hand before moving it around in his hands. "Don't want anyone to accidentally see us."
Ersa took a crystal ball, too, curious because she hadn't actually used one before, although she had seen one. She held it in her hand as well, rubbing it around until it began to glow in her face. Magnificent, she thought, her eyes wide with harnessed excitement. The night was starting off pretty interesting already.
She followed the others through the grove of trees, holding the light up so she could see more. Percival had asked them to wait to light them but she didn't care. Ersa didn't mind walking through trees but the darkness could be quite unsettling sometimes. She couldn't wait until she learned lumos.
"I'm glad you came." Ersa turned to see the other, bright eyed girl next to her, Alina.
She gave her a lopsided grin, although she wasn't sure if she could even see it. "Same to you." Then she recalled how she looked vaguely familiar. "I swear I thought your name was Bella. Aren't you in Slytherin?"

She shook her head. If only. Being in Slytherin would have made her life so much easier. "That's Bella, my twin sister. We're identical..." but she paused because that was pretty obvious. "She was sorted into Slytherin with your lot. I got punished into Hufflepuff," she sighed, remembering the day all too well. "I sassed that stupid hat and I don't know...I don't think Hufflepuff is where it originally would have put me," but she shrugged.
"Actually, that's mainly the reason I thought Percival and Adonis allowed me to come, thinking I was Bella." But if that wasn't true, then the better. She envied Bella for being placed in the house that their father and grandmother and ancestors before had been in, but regardless she was her own person.
Plus in her mind, she was more fun to be around than Bella. "I've never been to the campgrounds. I came across a group of imps just at the entrance and they scared me off so bad that I never ventured back," but they were past that by now. "I encountered them later on once at The Great Lake. So pesky. I wonder if they know they're as annoying as they are." Alina looked to Ersa and then to the boys and hoped she wasn't annoying any of them. She was grateful they let her come along on this adventure.
"Still, I feel like even if I've ventured this way a thousand times, it'll still feel new. Hogwarts has a way of doing that. It's like its...alive itself and always changing."

He turned to Percival with a slight nod and a smile in reassurance. "Don't. worry. I trust she didn't tell anyone. She seemed cool about it in DADA. I'm sure we'll be fine. Plus she's kind of cute." Adonis said with a smirk until he once again slightly jumped but this time at Ersa's sudden appearance out of nowhere. "Blimey... you girls come out of nowhere. Scares me a bit to think about what information you lot hear from us guy sometimes when we have our talks." He gave a slight chuckle and nodded to Ersa in greeting with a smile. Seems like they finally had everyone onboard now and they could get the move on with their shenanigans. "Sure, I'm definitely fine with that. There's a bunch of stars up in the night sky above us right anyways." Adonis spoke in admiration at the beauty of it, slowly lifting his head to look up at it for a brief second before returning his attention to the girls and Percival.
Adonis then took one of the EZ Glow Luminous Orbs that Alina handed out to them, holding it in either hand and observing it for a second. The Slytherin boy nodded in agreement with Percival and headed into the cover of trees beside Percival and in front of the girls towards the campgrounds. Adonis wasn't hearing the conversation since they were whispering, but he had recalled seeing a girl that looked identical to Alina. Although, he never talked to her so for him it had nothing to do with thinking she was her sister.
"I've never been to the campgrounds ya know. I always too engrossed in my studies or socializing that I haven't bothered to check out this part of the school. I've been to the Great Lake also aside from the Ceremony. I heard there's a summer camp or something of the sorts that they had last year. You plan on staying for that?" He asked Percival as they walked, tilting his head slightly with a raised brow in question. Adonis knew he would if they were to have something like that again. The pure-blood would have to go back home at some point though for a certain duration to spend time with his parents at least.
