Hair Dyeing with @Sarah Lightwood
Most people would dye their hair after a big breakup, or in an act of rebellion, but Taylor's reason was much simpler. She was purely bored of how her hair was. She had had the same hair her whole life, never dyed it, never drastically cut it. Just plain. Basic. She figured that here at Hogwarts she could do whatever she pleased, as long as it didn't hurt anyone else so here she was. Bleach in hand. She was going to attempt to dye the front bits that frame her face. In question, it would be quite easy to do but the Ravenclaw had never been particularly good at using her hands. She started putting the bleach in her hair. Not nearly enough but she didn't know that.
As she was about to start on the other side, she saw someone out of the corner of her eye. She saw a tall girl, at least compared to Taylor she was tall, with bright green hair. She walked over to Taylor and grabbed the bleach out of her hands. "Um...was I doing it wrong?" she said, embarrased, "Could you help me...?" The Ravenclaw figured she must know how to considering her own hair was dyed. While most Ravenclaws might tend to be scared of people in the Slytherin house, Taylor had herself hoped to be in Slytherin like her mother once was so she felt at home when near them.

Sarah wasn’t exactly been in the mood to socialise, which was partly why she’d ended up in the abandoned toilets rather than going back to the common room after her lessons were over. She’d fancied herself a bit fo peace and quiet away from the hustle the crowded corridors of Hogwarts always offered. But the second she’d laid eyes on the girl stood in front of one fo the slightly cracked mirrors, waving around the packet of bleach as if it wasn’t a fairly toxic chemical, she’d been unable to ignore her.

With a small sigh and a slight upturn to her lips, she walked over to the girl and took the bleach away from her. Just soon enough too, she found herself thinking as she took in the poorly bleached front of her hair. She’d certainly see worse attempts at dying hair, both using magic and the muggle supplies this girl seemed to be attempting. She’d become quite adept at helping her fellow Slytherins sort out the disasters which so commonly seemed to occur when it came to hair. She wondered whether she’d have so often be approached for help if it wasn’t for her own obnoxious bright hair. Perhaps not.

“Trust me, I’ve seen worse,” she started, offering the girl a smile she hoped appeared friendly enough, knowing full well that her resting face had often been deemed unapproachable. “Your first problem is that if you want clear sections, you’re probably best tying the rest of your hair up,” she said, moving to stand behind the girl and pulling a hair tie from her first. “May I?” She asked, though didn’t wait for an answer before gently pulling most of her hair up and out of the way. “I’m Sarah, by the way,” she introduced herself, “And apparently I’ve become quite the hairdresser,” She added as she remembered the time her and Pei had been stood exactly where she was now with a box of auburn hair dye.
