Look out... It's Peeves!!
Alyssa was on her way back to Gryffindor common room from the Great Hall. She had enjoyed a lovely breakfast and was determined to read a bit more before she went to class. Having some idea of what the semester held for her in all her subjects was very important. She did not want to seem like a goody-two-shoes but she also did not want to be seen as a fool. If a teacher asked her a question she wanted to be ready for it.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a loud explosion. She jumped back as something flew in her direction. A soft grunt escaped her lips as a puff of black smoke appeared all around her.
"Ally, Ally, Ally the girly with no worries." she heard a voice sing. She could not see who was mocking her. She tried to move forward, but without her vision, she was forced to wait until the smock cleared. Appearing in front of her, a face that she remembered reading about.
Peeves!
He had impeccable aiming when he pelted a number of objects at people’s heads, he was skilled in the art of unleashing mayhem within the walls of Hogwarts. She grumbled up at him as he pulled faces at her.
"What is it Peeves? I have no time for your nonsense," she responded an annoyed tone to her voice.
"Ally, ally you know my name but I have yet to torment you." he replied as he continued to throw things at her.
"What do you think you are doing now?" she asked as she tried to dodge the objects, she was successful until an egg flew into her face. It was not a fresh egg, this egg had been boiled at some point. Alyssa stumbled backward and fell to the floor.
Peeves chuckled at the spectacle that he was making.

Loneliness followed her around like an old friend ready to receive her.

Look out... It's Peeves!!
Fumiko could easily escape odd situations that seemed to happen occasionally within the Hogwarts perimeters. So, her schedule would be
wake up >> get ready >> eat >> class >> eat >> more class >> homework >> sleep
It's a boring cycle.
Though the school poltergeist did try to ruin her boring cycle with fallen water balloons or flying items at her, she managed to get away quietly. She wasn't going to admit that she actually enjoyed peeves getting riled up at her talent of dodging.
Perhaps that's why she felt her feet gravitating towards the source of his well-known annoyingmischievous voice. The common room can wait. Pretending to look around with the commonly lost eyes of a regular first year. When she got to the hall where she heard Peeves voice, the first thing that greeted her was a boiled egg, silently rolling towards her shoe.
" Oh my " she didn't know why she said ' oh my'. ' Oh, my ' was something grandmothers said. Coming out of Fumiko's mouth in that childish voice of hers just sounded odd if anyone heard it. She frowned at the boiled egg, mere inches from her shoe.
Pity.
She loved boiled eggs and seeing one on the floor untouched just made her sad. It's bad enough the bird in that egg never hatched, now it's wasted? Who could've done such a horrible thing?
It wasn't hard to put two and two together when she saw Peeves making ugly faces at the Gryffindor girl on the floor.
She was going to laugh about that later, for now, she needs to be the typical Hufflepuff everyone thought her to be. With skill.
Hoping Peeves won't notice her too early, she quickly rushed to the fallen Gryffindor student. " The egg is fine and I hope you are too" she blurted out with a straight face as she held out a hand for the girl.
Innerly slapping herself for saying such an odd way to ask if someone is alright as she gave the Gryffindor girl a warm smile that looked like she was unaffected by her previous words.

Look out... It's Peeves!!
Skipping breakfast, Holly was just exploring the campus and enters the small hall, seeing a flying jester just laughing at a poor Griffindor girl who apparently stumbled and fell. She rolls her eyes and looks at the floating figure. Judging by his appearance he is in fact a ghost, but how is he touching anything? Holly had no idea. The room was a complete mess, with things all over the place and peeves laughing. This is probably some ind of magical floaty clown being, Holly assumes.
She then spots Fumiko by Alyssa's side, and lets out a warm smile. Oh yes, Hufflepuff students, always so helpful and friendly Holly thinks of her best friend Charlotte, who is also a Hulfflepuff student.
"Oh dear, it must be really tiring being so nice and caring to everybody... but it's what they best do i guess..."
Holly thinks to herself. As an apple flew into the corner of her vision, along with shiny objects that holly didn't have time to figure out, she catches the apple with her right hand, ducks as the candlestand smashes into the wall behind her and quickly vaults behind a table, slowly crawling towards the two other girls... she crawls her way to the end of the table's cover and decides to make a run for it, Holly ran really quickly, successfully dodging all the other objects that were thrown her way, just to end up slipping on some water. She screams a little and catches the back of a chair, still slipping but avoiding the painful impact. She was next to the two other students as she hears cackling from the clown. She sighs and slowly gets up, with another mischievous smile, her mother did pranks on her when she was little, Holly was fine with these tricks.
"Very funny, Mister Jester Mcfloaty."
She says with a sarcastic tone.
"W-Wow. That looks... Ow. Are you doing fine there?"
Holly holds back laughter as she sees pieces of an egg shell on Alyssa's face, she covers her mouth and droplets of tears form in the corner of her eye as she tries her very best to keep a flat tone and sound concerned instead of entertained. Holly blushes a bit, knowing that it's pretty obvious she found it hilarious. she bites her mouth from the inside and looks away a little, hiding her face, before turning back with slight smile from entertainment but a frown on her forehead from genuine concern.

Look out... It's Peeves!!
Alyssa looked up at Fumiko, a whimsical smile crept onto her lips as she realized what she might have thought seeing her sprawled on the floor trying to block some of the objects that were flying at her from the clearly demented poltergeist.
"I am fine, I do not think it will bruise: she said rubbing at the spot where the egg had hit her. She looked over at where the egg laid, it seemed to have the same kind of day as her. She moved closer to the wall trying to get some distance between her and the poltergeist. Some items still came flying at her and Fumiko when a Ravenclaw girl entered.
She looked at her but did not keep eye contact for long, Peeves was continuing to throw things at them. Only when the girl slipped in the pool of water the smile faded from her lips. Peeves was being a hand full today. He had no intention of stopping his shenanigans.
Alyssa looked over at Holly who had moved closer to them. She had asked her if she was alright but seemed to notice that she was knocked in the face with the egg. She gasped as she felt a small lump form on her forehead.
"I am alright" she said, a grin forming on her lips as she tried to imagine what this spectacle would look like from Holly's point of view.
"Are you okay? You nearly landed up just like me."she chuckled.

Look out... It's Peeves!!
Lucian was casually making her way through the hallways after breakfast, tired from her continual lack of sleep lately. She had been trying to sleep but couldn't with so much going on in all aspects of her life. She was hoping to maybe catch a quick nap before class, although she was sure sleep would evade her once again.
As she walked down the hallways, she heard the clatter of various items hitting the floor, the walls, and the dull thud of something most likely human shaped knocking into stone. Despite her exhaustion, Lucian knew exactly what, or rather, who, the racket was stemming from.
Peeves, the schools poltergeist, had been someone Lucian had read about extensively, her fascination with him stemming from the first time her brother Alastair told her about him. She had always desired to know everything about this mischievous ghost who somehow never seems to get himself into trouble. She wanted to understand him; she wanted to befriend him.
Turning the corner in Peeves' direction, Lucian leaned up against a stone pillar, just out of reach from the poltergeists perch. She folded her arms, raising a skeptical eyebrow, chuckling softly to herself. "So this is the infamous Peeves." She noted, announcing her presence. She stuck her tongue out of the corner of her mouth, thinking for a moment. "I always thought you'd be, bigger, in person."
