Away From the Nonsense
[font=franklin gothic medium]Jovie was heading to the Small Hall. In her arms she held her backpack, her textbooks, and a heated expression on her face. Why? Because the girls in her dorm were just too annoying for her study time. All they did was gossip and talk about cute boys. It was entirely true, though Jovie hated to use that that clique. Though she tried to steer the conversation towards something worth talking about it always ended back at something equally trivial.
Lucky she had remembered enough of the school's layout to get where she needed to go without taking any crowded hallways. She really didn't feel like getting into any altercations or just talking in general.
She whisked herself down the stairs towards the Great Hall, which came right after the Small Hall. She hoped no one was there, though it was a perfect quiet place. Jovie only stopped once to fix her long black hair into a ponytail. She happened to stop by one of the knight statues, her gaze fixed on her reflection through the armor. She wondered, out of seemingly nowhere, if she was considered attractive. Sighing she figured this thought came from being around those dumb girls and hurried along.
Soon she was in the Small Hall and went to sit in a chair near the fire. Grinning, Jovie immediately began to relax. Soothing sounds like crackling fires and pounding rain eased her into a calm state, the best kind for focusing on work.
She quietly began studying, bent over as she read her Charms book. Sometimes students passed by and/or said something but Jovie just ignored them.

Away From the Nonsense
Amanda huffed as she stomped up from the Dungeons. Her skirt was soaked as was her shirt which was thankfully covered by her hood. She marched into the Small Hall and lounged around skimming through the small shelves of books before settling on a book called Moste Potent Potions. She quickly wrung her skirt a small puddle forming around her beat-up Converse, she smirked slightly hoping someone would slip and HOPEFULLY break their tailbone.
You see, Amanda never wanted to be rude or cold or even "evil" but it happened over a course of events that made her who she is.
She then squeezed past a group of Hufflepuffs squealing over some quote-unquote "cute" Gryffindor boy. She growled, "If yall don't move in the next three seconds someone won't have eyes." The girls nodded and scampered off with their tails in between their legs. Amanda smirked and sat in the only unoccupied seat near the fireplace. She spared a glance at the somewhat pretty Ravenclaw and awkwardly cleared her throat before beginning to read. She threw her hair in a sloppy bun and made a mental note to get a haircut; and quick.
Amanda closed her book and tapped the Ravenclaw's shoulder and politely asked, "Do you perhaps know what our Charms homework was? I was in the Hospital Wing and I couldn't attend class." She tensed hoping the girl wouldn't lash out because if she did there would probably be a dead body involved and it wouldn't be her's.

Away From the Nonsense
A tiny hufflepuff girl came from the direction of the library. She was hunched over a book and wasn't paying attention. She slipped on the puddle the slytherin girl had made. "Oww!" She got back up and grabbed her book off the floor. She stopped walking and noticed the girls. She finally realized they had spoken, and tried to remember what they said. When she did, she said, "O-oh, t-t-t-t-t-the a-a-assignment?" "I-i-t w-w-w-was c-charms." She was a shy girl, and she didn't talk very much. She hid her face in the book and flipped to a chapter. "I-I-I n-n-noticed t-t-that you have a b-book. I-If i-i-it's f-from h-here, there's, uh, um.. B-better books in t-the l-library." She decided to stay silent for now. The girls were probably really busy. Maybe they were heading to class, or as socially anxious as her. Then. she realized this would be even more awkward if she didn't introduce herself. "B-by t-the way, I-I'm T-Tiny." She thinks the name fits her, since she's aware that shes incredibly small and was the height of a beginning 5th grader, even though other than that she looked like a normal 11 year old. She sat and read her book, and tried to not be awkward.
Hi there! I'm Tiny!

Away From the Nonsense
Amanda looked at the small girl named Tiny and smirked slightly,
"Well, Tiny could you tell me the assignment and stop stuttering like a fool and start giving me the information. Time is knowledge and based on how you spend it, you have little to no knowledge."
She grinned snarkily and looked at the shaking girl.
She sneered seeing how the useless child would do her no good, and slammed her book down.
"Now listen. You can either give me my much needed information. Or I can turn you into a pile of dust right now."
She undid her bun and wringed the water out onto Tiny's shoes, and covered her mouth faking a shocked look.
"Oops! Now Tiny, could you please; I beg on Merlin's name could you please tell me."
Amanda looked at the small girl and frowned slightly feeling...somewhat sorry, she pouted her lips blowing out a sigh.
"Look Tiny, I'm sorry for my rude behavior, could you please forgive me?"
She looked at the small shaking girl who somewhat reminded her of a kicked puppy...well a puppy she could have kicked. She grinned slightly, but hardened her face again before looking up at Tiny again.
