It's Origami Time PV Greynore Closed

Gienna liked the Small Hall. Even though it was small and comfortable it was still rowdy at times, given that it lied right between the Great Hall and the Entrance Hall, where many people milled about a different parts of the day. The Slytherin usually ignored the place, using it as just a way to get where she needed to go, like her daily meals. But after deciding to fold some origami with a certain Ravenclaw, she figured that it would be a great place to hang out.

Adriel Greynore was something like an acquaintance to Gienna so far. She was friendly and didn't take her jokes to the heart, or yet, at least. And she didn't treat her like how some other people treated her once they realized that she was a Slytherin, like she was out to get them. At first Gienna had played along with that stereotype, just for fun, but it got old and irritating fairly quickly, especially during times when she was trying to be genuinely nice. Still, she didn't know Adriel too well to really decide if she liked, but she guessed that this was a good time to figure that out.

Origami was something she sometimes did with her female friends before Hogwarts, especially during sleepovers. It basically consisted of folding square sheets of paper into anything you wanted, as long as you knew how to. Gienna liked it because it was a muggle kind of magic, turning paper into something extraordinary, like cranes and planes.

She'd brought her own notepad full of colored paper, which were all cut square. The colors varied from subtle blue to neon green to flags patterns to zebra stripes. And even though origami only required paper, Gienna brought stickers to make it even more fun.

She stood at the entryway with her arms folded, waiting for Adriel. She didn't want to sit down just yet, in case the girl didn't come. Gienna didn't want to look like 'that one lonely kid' who was folding origami by herself. She probably shouldn't care but she did anyway.
