Dee was stomping through the hallways in a very pretty costume and an absolutely terrible mood. It just wasn't her day. She'd already been in a bad mood waking up because of the less-than-perfect grade she had received for her Herbology essay yesterday, then she'd managed to spill milk on herself during breakfast, tripped and scraped her hands open during a walk over the Grounds, and now the people she had started doing this semblance of Muggle Halloween traditions with had somehow disappeared.

Usually, she wouldn't have minded much, she'd never had much trouble just making new friends and walking around with them, but in the mood she was currently in? Maybe her classmates had actually abandoned her on purpose. Originally, she'd been looking forward to this night. She was dressed as something resembling a fae queen from Muggle mythology, a crown of flowers, twigs, and feathers on her head, her dress decorated with leaves and feathers. She'd even gotten an older girl to change her hair to a slightly reddish colour for the night, and was wearing makeup that looked like there were small twines with delicate leaves sneaking up her jaw and temples.

Now, she was wandering around without any real purpose or goal, and stormed into the Small Hall with an expression on her face that made two little first year girls dressed up as pumpkins jump out of the way in terror.

She snatched a mini cupcake - one of the vanilla flavoured ones, she wasn't in the mood for chocolate - off the table and then turned to look for some familiar face she could rant at. And got lucky.

"Ileen!" she called, and stormed over to her friend with the full intention of just spending the next five minutes ranting. "You wouldn't believe the day I've- oh." She'd been so focused on her friend, that she'd managed to completely overlook and bump into the person Ileen was apparently currently talking to, who was dressed as... a ghost? With, uh... sunglasses? Heart-shaped ones. How... interesting. "Um, sorry," she said, momentarily pulled out of her bad mood by pure surprise at the ridiculousness of this costume. Was that a bed sheet? She blinked. "Nice costume," she said slowly, entirely unaware of who it was she was talking to.

This rather unexpected turn of events had made her lose the thread of what she had wanted to say, so she frowned slightly. "Are you going to one of the other locations? I'll come with you."

The boy seemed a bit nervous, after a while talking he then started to think about how they may stumble upon some of Rose's friends, Aldor was unsure, since they have not talked about her relationships before, and if she did, he can't really remember, he does not want to scew up in front of his friend, since the moment he stumbled into Rose, he has admired her, she was cool, cute, and extremly kind. It would be terrible to start panicking in front of them.

Although, the boy heard Rose simply say 'cool' he was pretty sure she was a bit confused of what he even said, this did not mind him, he understands that sometimes he gets a little bit out of rails and starts nerding out of the blue. He kept smilling, watching his surrounding and tunring back to Rose with the same innocent, yet nervous, stare, some of his fear faded away, as she offered him to simply stay with her. He only gave a relieved sigh, as he nodded to her comment.

A bit of silence surrounded them, after he mentioned oranges, this became awkward again, or at least that was what he feared, in reality, she might just be flustered because he mentioned it, he tried not to think about it, but the thought kept spinning around his mind.

After she handed a cupcake to him, and he thanked her for it, Rose asked whether he had plans of where to go next, he would shrugh slightly.

''Not really- I am just here to follow you around, it is more than enough for me to be honest.''

After he gave a suggestion, he quickly agreed with her.

''That reminds me uh- did you join the team after all? I mean, I am just curious, maybe I can go and watch you practice every once in a while-''

STOP 2
Cade was a little miffed about the large GREEDY spelled out on his ghost costume. His first stop for trick or treat hadn't gone according to plan. He had stopped at the boy's toilets to see if he could clean the ink off in the sinks. But the ink held fast and all he did was make the spot for his head in the sheet cold and wet. He remembered that these were his bedsheets. Tonight he had ruined them with both ink and eye holes. So far he wasn't at all pleased with how the night was going. He marched off to the Small Hall hoping there would be treats outside the door. Cade assumed so because he'd seen students dressed in costume headed in that direction.

Clutching the floppy quill in his off-hand, he found a narrow table in front of the doors. Here too people were gathered. He waited his turn to approach the table. To his delight, there were no tricks in sight. Just mini cupcakes decorated like ghosts. Cade felt a smile tug on his mouth at the thought of matching his food. He brought one of them underneath his sheet and popped it in his mouth. Tasty. The chocolate flavor swirled around his mouth. He wondered who made them, wanting to compare recipes. Then he considered taking another. Biting his lip, he remembered the painful memory of the last table at the library. He reckoned he should continue on, without a second treat. Cade learned his lesson well.

He wondered where else was hosting trick or treat tables. Should he continue wandering the halls or head to the ballroom where there were other events? He felt a little self-conscious about his costume, especially now that it had been ruined. But he assured himself he couldn't be the only one trying to sneak more than the allotted amount. So he continued to the ballroom.

The fourth year was wearing his nice and fancy cloak, quite similar to the school robes but instead it was opened at the front. It had a bunch of pockets, two on the outside however like a normal cloak might have and those pockets were already filled to the brim with candy because that was what Halloween was all about. As he reached the small hall of which he heard was one of the locations for the sweets being handed out, he would find a tray with cupcakes that were differently colored but all had a little ghost decoration and looked as delicious as they looked cute. It took a while until Alan could decide but eventually he just closed his eyes and swished his hand over the tray until he stopped and found himself pointing and an eerie green cupcake. It looked a little like scary goop which was fully in the mood of the day which made the Gryffindor grin brightly as he grabbed the treat. He could not put a cupcake into his pocket however so he would take a big bite out of it almost instantly and sigh as the yummy treat filled his stomach. It tasted amazing and Alan would love to take another one but he already could see that a lot of other students had been taken some and he was sure that there were other students too who would still want a cupcake. So for the sake of others he would be happy with the one he had chosen as he enjoyed the crumbly muffin.

As he finished the muffin he would take a look around to see which location he could visit next but he did not leave without leaving behind some treats of his own for whoever wanted to take them. He would place a handful of chocolate frogs in their wrapper on top of the table before he decided to leave for the charms classroom.
