Writing letters while doing it anonymously was both exciting and terrifying. Slowly peeled the other’s mystery identity, it was such a stroke of sheer dumb luck knowing the fact they were a Ravenclaw as well. For a second, she hoped it was a certain bird, ah yes, what a dream in the wonderland. Though it seemed impossible since they stated that they had not joined any clubs. Thus, his name was scratched off the list. Then the last letter came, with the name of the sender. Disappointment was an understatement. Not because she disliked the person, she never even met them before, but it was the fact her hope vanished within seconds. Perhaps it would be impossible for him to notice an icky tiny first year.

The bell was ringing from the clock tower, meaning, lunch time had finally arrived. With a bag full of chocolates, cans, bottles, papers, the handmade ball that she created from glue and rope and whatnots, Aurora rushed towards the lake to meet her possible future friend. Extra time was essential. The bowling alley out of lost and found items had to be built before her Hogwarts pen pal arrived at the scene. The weather was nice, but a little too sunny to her liking. Her short legs lead her to an empty ground next to the lake, under the tree. In full excitement, she emptied the content of the bag and started to construct the ugliest most innovative bowling alley anyone could ever see. Papers were glued together and placed on the ground to achieve a smooth surface, put some rocks on each side, then organise the unused bottles as the pins and did the same thing for the second one. And there it was, laid there so gracefully, the brand new Hogwarts Bowling Alley. Now she would wait for her fellow bird to come.
