May was starting to feel too suffocated. How could she stop going to the Quiddich Pitch to mount a broom?! Mays dream was to be the Captain of her house Quiddich team. She really wanted to...but she was sure she wasn't prepared enough.
As May entered the Quiddich Pitch, she took a deep breath. She wasn't going to mess it up this time...or was she?

Well, she mounted the school broom, and gave a hard knock day to the floor.
Seconds later she was soaring through the air.

She was holding her broom hard, but she wondered. What would happen if she didn't hold it? What would happen?

May was eager to try. At first, she was scared. What would happen? May thought over and over again.

She did it. She haws soaring soaring through the air, without holding the broom. But...bad idea.

May was falling. Falling high! May was about to faint. She knew she was about to faint. But no, she wasn't. Was she going to break a bone or something?

When she hit ground, May closed her eyes. It hurt so holy much!

She didn't want to cry, but she really couldn't move.

Katrina had been feeling off today. Well, since the Blossomball to be correct. Everything she did was like it were anther person controlling her. She felt detached and so far away from anyone or anything. The second-year pushed away the thoughts of that horrible night, ear ringing in psychosomatic pain. No, I will not think of that.

Boomerang, Katrina's almost one-year-old kitten, trailed behind her as she made her way through the grounds. She drifted, senses numbed and mind empty. The drifting had begun only a few weeks prior to the Blossomball, but after, had become a bad habit. Whenever there was more of thirty seconds on her tightly packed schedule, she would wander with no intentions through the school.

Katrina found herself near the Quidditch Pitch, horrible memories surged through her mind. It was the scene where the horrible night took place. Images of the descending mosps, bloodied figures, and nightmarish sounds filled her head. Crying and screaming, the sounds of terror and torture. Things 11 and 12 year old's should never have to hear.

Katrina had just turned away from the ghastly place when a real scream pierced the air. Her heart stopped, it must only be another hallucination. But what if it wasn't? Despite all reason in her mind, Katrina began to run into the Pitch. Someone was in pain. Katrina couldn't just stand by and leave someone to hurt.

Boomerang's small frame led the way, his furry shape the only thing that kept her going. There was a limp form in the grass, something that reminded Katrina far too much of the Masked Ball months prior. The red-head had to remind herself that that was in the past. This was now, and someone needed her help.

A strangled gasp escaped her throat, she recoiled as she actually knew the person. It was May, a girl Katrina had briefly met in the Rehearsal room several months before. She had been sweet and played the piano much better than she had thought she did.

Katrina raced over and knelt at her side and shook her enough to roll her on her back, "May, May, what happened?" Urgency bled into Katrina's voice. It was hard to tell, but the school broom several feet away indicated that she likely fell off the broom.

A shudder ran through Katrina's body. She couldn't stand riding on a broom after almost falling, back in December. The mere thought of it frightened the red-head far more than she had ever admitted. It had been enough that she had been horrible in her first year, but after that incident she was terrified to even think about riding one, especially on her own.

Katrina couldn't believe that she was now sitting in the middle of the Quidditch Pitch. Boomerang, somehow noticing her growing terror, rubbed himself on her bent legs, reminding her that she was living now, not in the past. He looked up with as much concern as a kitten could have, she reached out and pet his back, thanking him for keeping her from the terrors that plagued her.

"May, are you aright?" This girl was more important than her fears, Katrina needed to focus on her.

May couldn't move, of course. She had her eyes shut. She could hear someone. Something like..."May, May, what happened?"
The voice sounded familiar. But at first, she couldn't recognize it. She carefully opened up her eyes. She wanted to move, but couldn't. She had been so dumb, just to do something to fall off her broom!

She at last recognized the girl with turquoise strands of hair. "Katrina?" May said, quickly recovering her memory of her, when they first met in the Rehearsal Room. It had been brief, but fun, to play the piano again, and with her.
The cat, that May remembered to be named Boomerang, seemed to be worried.
"I'm ok, just fell off this broom that's that." May said, and laughed softly. "I-I don't know why, but I can't move! " May tried to move her leg, but she just couldnt. She could only move her arm, slowly to try and touch the cat. She knew she wasn't going to die. Of course, May had experienced more dangerous problems than one.

"I was such and idiot" May said, quite angry with herself. "I just fell off my broom. Right Boomerang" May said, nodding towards the cat.

Katrina was thankful when May was immediately responsive. The chances of a concussion were slim thankfully, as she immediately recognized her and also knew what happened. The lioness' mind reeled with possible injuries as she tried to deduct what happened.

"Yeah, it's me, Katrina" Katrina's voice was calmer than her thoughts. She had always had a way with injured people. Katrina felt a calling to help those in need. Whenever someone was in need, Katrina was there. Memories of the Blossomball pushed their way to the front of Katrina's mind, helping the defenseless had been the only reason she had come. Not thinking of that.

Katrina nodded as she said she fell off her broom. Made enough since, Katrina was glad that she had assumed the right thing. Falling injuries flew through Katrina's mind, narrowing down what she needed to do. "If you can't move your leg, that's probably because you broke it. Does it hurt at all?" Katrina figured the answer was no as May wasn't crying and didn't seem to be in too much pain, thankfully.

As May talked a bit to Boomerang, he leaned his head forward and laid down, resting his fuzzy face on her arm. Her orange feline began to purr quite contentedly. It seemed Katrina wasn't the only one that was good with healing.

Katrina gingerly took May's leg and straitened it, she gently rested it on the ground and pursed her lips. There was nothing for her to do with a broken leg besides get May to the Hospital Wing. She could easily enough make a makeshift cast. The second year had done it before with her younger brother. The doctors had even said that what she had done was the best thing for her to do in that situation.

"Did you hurt anything else?" Katrina looked May over, pretty sure that the leg was the only thing that was wrong, but she didn't want to be premature. It seemed, for now, Katrina had a grip on things.
Sorry it took to long to respond! It didn't show up in my RP's for some reason.

Good. It was Katrina, the girl she had met in the Rehearsal Room. It was not a stranger that she had absolutely never met that would ignore her totally, as May would've had feared. May was glad she hadn't been hurt at the ball. She preferred having her arm or leg hurt than being burned like Anastasia Beckett. She gave a little sight as she, Katrina, asked her if her injury hurt

. "W-well, I can't feel it. It does hurt- I mean, my whole body, but not my leg. It does hurt tho, if I move it." was that what it felt to have her leg broken while falling of a broom? Well, May could say it wasn't that horrible.

It seemed like Boomerang liked her. He seemed more like a snob cat when May had met him. But his soft purr made her smile more brightly than before. She caressed him and then, turned back to her injury. "I don't think so. But my body aches a lot. "

May said, trying to move her leg. "D-do you think it's broken?" May asked impatiently. She wanted to know what was going to happen. If she would need to go to the hospital wing as soon as possible or just wait until Katrina could handle everything. She was a good healer, after all.
No need to be sorry! Mine was more than late 😱

Katrina came to the quick conclusion that her leg was broken. She appeared to be sore through the rest of her body, but that would be understandable if she fell from as high as she thought she had. The nurses would be able to easily heal up anything else that was hurt. Now she really needed to get May to the Hospital Wing as soon as possible.

"I think you probably broke it. But you might not be able to feel it if... if the nerves were affected. Its not as bad as it sounds, its just that I can't fix it right now." Katrina paused and bit her lip, eyes raking the surroundings. If she had sticks she could make a basic splint.

"I'm going to go grab a couple sticks to grab a splint. I-- I might need to carry you if you can't walk," Katrina stopped, realizing that May could just as easily lean on her and walk with her good leg. Oh, well. With her last thought swirling in her mind, Katrina jogged over to find two relatively straight sticks. Thankfully there were still some bits of a table leg that she decided would work well enough.

"I'm back," Katrina announced remembering that she had a small roll of bandages in her pocket for her ankle. She never really used the stuff, but she still kept it with herself. Katrina gently touched May's leg and held it steady, "Tell me if anything hurts,"

It was as she wrapped the bandages around the sticks and her legs than she wished she knew Ferula. The Bandaging Charm would make this whole thing much easier. "All right, how does it feel?" The leg was wrapped up now and splinted too, Katrina was so glad that she knew so much.
