Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin 2nd Game Finished

She was not expecting such a short game. She already knew that there was a giant target on her back, the other team seeing her as a threat and possibly being in cahoots with the death witches and the midget giants. The game likely would have went on, the back of her head cracked by a bludger had it not been for the fact that their Seeker's ability to find the snitch was coupled with a swift hand. They, herself and Nico defended Dan from the onslaught of bludgers and he secured the game. 

It was one of those rare feel-good moments. But why did it feel good? Was winning something that was important to her? It should not have been. Perhaps it was the fact that she was only moderately injured that felt so good. A bit of relief. Fear of pain. Fear of the ground. She looked at the ground as they landed and mentally taunted the earth. Not this time ground... NOT THIS TIME! 

She would get off the broom, she had little to say to Nico. She was encouraging. She was pretty cool. Alex really liked her and that was good too, but she was not entirely sure that she could trust the Prefect. Her bro would be shattered to find out that she too was a midget giant sympathizer, not that he knew anything of their diabolical plot. She was still figuring it out herself.For now Alex seemed safe, he was not fed to the giants yet, however she wondered how long her good fortune would last. 

Erin would retrieve her broom. There was no way she was going to the medical wing with the creepy nurse. She was going to go to the great hall and get something cold to put on her bruises and then she was going to lay out on her bed for a few hours.

He caught it! Thanks to Bridget's Alley Oop, and Nico and Erin protecting him, Dan snatched the snitch right out of the air. That was two for two against Ravenclaw! Dan felt like he more than made up for his abysmal performance against Hufflepuff. There was just one thing for it now.

Dan flew up to Neculai, and stared right at him for 3 full seconds. Then all at once, with no warning, he dabbed. Dabbed like the meme lord he was.

After holding it for 3 more seconds, he flew back down to the rest of his team.

"Great job, team. Our second victory against the birdies, and the start of our glorious comeback."
