Lucille gave a triumphant stomp on the ground as she saw the mosp fall to the ground with its body still practically engulfed in the flames. Sure it was a terrifying sight, but Lucille couldn't help be happy about her successful attempt."Take that mosp scum!"The eagle continued as she looked around the formerly disastrous scene. Lucille heard someone calling out a compliment, even though she wasn't that sure who it was, Lucille called out a small "Thanks!"in response. Things were finally calming down, while most of the students fled, Lucille walked around cautiously to see if anyone needed the little assistance she could offer. To her horror, the girl who had distracted a mosp away from Lucille earlier was now on the floor after a mosp sting. "Good god..."Lucille muttered to herself."You need to get out of here."The Ravenclaw said in a grim tone.As she held out her hand for the Gryffindor, Lucille tried to think about why she had even gone to this secret ball anyway. No one had asked her on a date, none of her acquaintances had wanted to just go as 'friends', not even her dorm mates had included her into their little talks of what they and their date's were going to wear. If the Gryffindor girl were to take her hand Lucille would try to pull her up to get on out of there. If not, then Lucille would try and find other students who actually wanted to get on out of there.

interacting with @Zykeal Lane, @Lucille Williams and @Jo Morgan
"Heya, you okay?" he would hear a familiar voice which snapped him out of this weird place he had found himself in. Alan would blink as he finally got a grip on himself again, shaking his head vigorously to get some feeling back and to scare the numbness he had felt moments ago away, as he pushed himself off the ground flexing his finger to warm them, only now feeling the numbing bite of the cold. "Yeah, I'm fine", he would let the other student, @Zykeal Lane, know with a firm nod of his head as his eyes searched for the mosp only to see what have happened in the few seconds he was out of it. Perhaps he could have prevented it, if he had not been occupied with internal struggles. He would have pondered the blame on himself some more if it wasn't for the fact that he had to take actions now. Clearly nice words and an open mind would not get them out of the situation and as much as he hated to cause harm, he couldn't watch everyone around him get hurt because he was too scared to act and protect them from what was clearly a dangerous situation.

Seeing the girl being stung made flashes of memory pass by, he remembered how Flash had reacted to the stinger to what appeared to be a smaller mosp and he could only imagine how much is must hurt to be stung by one of the grown beasts. "Are you alright?" was now his turn to ask the question as he knelt down next to the girl, his wand within his hand as he glanced at the girls side, paling at the amount of blood he could see. It was not that he could see it well on the dress since it was black, but he could see the fabric dampen and darken as it soaked up the blood. Jo would go on to cast a spell to defeat the mosp that stung her and this point Alan wanted the whole situation to be over. Certainly he could be sad about everything that went wrong later and while he would have liked for this to be solved without violence, clearly there was no way to find another way and it was too late to play any more games since a student had been hurt and it would be negligent to go on as if the mosps were no harm for them. He did not like it one bit, but perhaps it had to be done?

Another girl @Lucille Williams would attempt to help @Jo Morgan up to get her out but Alan would shake his head at her. "Better not like th-this. If th-they are in here, th-there must be more outside," he warned the girl to not go through with her plan and glanced back towards the girl that had been attacked by one of the mosps just a bit ago. "Take your hands away from th-the wound for a second so I can heal it. It won't do much, but it will make you feel better th-than you are now," he explained before he would speak the magical words. "Reparifors," he would attempt to cast it, hoping it would not only take away the poison of the stingers but also take away some of the pain to make the situation more bearable.

With the yell of the Hufflepuff boy, 'Watch Out', it caused the mosp that was targeting himself to be shifted and veer off in the direction of another. Zyk would watch as the boy and another girl cast simultaneous spells at the creature, hitting it successfully, but, causing the mosp to aggressively lash out at the girl that was there. Now, he didn't know the girl, but what he saw caused a spark of anger to swell within him. The Hufflepuff boys actions directly led to the resulting injury of a girl, this was just not something Zyk was comfortable with, he felt that he should have taken the mosps attack as he was the one who had led it in the changing room.

Annoyance crossed him as he gripped that aspen wood wand within his hand tightly, flexing his fingers upon the grasp of its hilt. Multiple spells were once again sent towards the mosp that had attacked the girl, he watched as others did their duties in trying to repel the creature. Alan had responded in kind, letting Zyk know that he was alright and the boy was seemingly trying to help the girl on the ground with the injury that she had received. Zyk admired Alan, his spellwork was brilliant. Those golden irises shifted across the room though, the movement of something else had caught his eye and he noticed that the others seemed to have forgotten about the second mosp that was still in the room with them.

The mosp was casually moving towards the Hufflepuff boy that had tried to interfere with the mosp and himself previously, this wasn't going to end well if none of the others didn't notice the creature before it went on to attack the group that was fending off the other mosp. A focused mind led his wand to be raised, the ivory-colored wand flowed through the air like a paintbrush, drawing a landscape of a mountain that overlooked a vast ocean, "Immobulus," he stated clearly, aiming his wand tip in the direction of the mosp that was heading towards the boy. The spell was advanced for his first-year status, but, he had practiced hard over the year to be able to hone his passion for charmwork.

George gasped as the stingers went into Jo. She didn't stand a chance. He had been too late on the draw for it to matter before the bug got to her. The bloodcurdling scream she let out made George's hands feel cold - his legs hardly noticed, already quite frozen from the chill of Alan's earlier blizzard. Still, the girl kept fighting. The irony of her earlier dibs on its stingers wasn't lost on him - but he had the good grace not to make a joke about it at a time like this. He needed to act again, even if he couldn't think of a single useful spell to finally put that bug out of its misery.

He raised his wand and paused to think, browsing his mental catalogue for something that would put an end to this mess. Immobulus? Immob- oh, no. Zykeal had already cast it. He tried to think of something more that could help... but his thoughts were overtaken by the dull buzzing of an approaching mosp. The last mosp in the room was coming right for him, and in the moment, all of his blood felt like ice in his veins. This one didn't seem angry - it wasn't that raging red colour, and it seemed to be on more of a leisurely stroll than a murderous rampage. Maybe an alternative technique would work this time.

He thought the magic word again. Immobulus. And just like that, George Henry froze. Not that he actually cast it, of course - he's just trying to hold still.

There was panic everywhere, screams and fire, and they didn't know what he knew. This was just the beginning, and something much worse was on its way. Jake's chest puffed in and out as closed and quivering eyes glowed in the dance of flames, and Freddie was locked in a death grip. He couldn't bear to open them.

Jack's words repeated in his head over and over, his command of what to do when they were done here. Why had Jack asked him?. The trembling first-year peeked for just a second. The way was clear now. If he ran he might make it. But he didn't want to run. He wanted to wrap his arms around his friends. To know they were there and stop his trembling. But he didn't HAVE a choice. Jack had said so. Jack had said run. And Jack was in charge.

He couldn't fight off the fear. He was so scared... He didn't think his legs would even work. He didn't know how he was standing. But as a mosp floated towards them - heading towards his bunk brother - something unstuck. His legs moved and he ran to the door of the changing rooms, ran as fast as he could and poked his head outside of it.

The scene that was before his eyes was one of chaos and carnage. It wasn't just in here that everything had gone crazy. Outside there were screaming kids. There were forms on the ground, more creatures. They had fallen and wouldn't get up. He thought that maybe they were dead. His mind couldn't process it. It was too horrible, the whole night was, and Jake had never needed a grown-up more badly in his life.

But some of the forms out there were larger than just the kids. Jake realized that they weren't alone anymore. The desperate shouts poured out of him as he saw the first sign of an adult.

"HELP!!!! HEEEEELP!!" the little Hufflepuff cried, high voice shrieking through the night. "SOMEONE HELP!! PLEASE!!!" he sobbed , shouting in the direction of a larger figure on the pitch ( @Kateri Karr ) .

Mosp #10
As he was looking for something to defend himself with, @Slade Deol watched in horror as Jo got stung by one of the mosps; following his instinct, without thinking, the young Gryffindor threw himself at the dancing insect, ready to punch it. But the insect, even though its little legs and arms were moving to the rhythm of a silent song, managed to avoid the boy, but completely failed avoiding the incredibly powerful Flipendo that @Jo Morgan, through the burning pain of the venom, had managed to cast, dealing a deadly 340 DMG. Just like that, the mosp stopped its crazy dancing and tumbled onto the ground, dead.

Mosp #17
This mosp had been flying towards @George Henry, who had decided not to move a muscle as he hoped not to scare or anger the insect, without any real intention to harm him. As it got closer, it suddenly stopped in its tracks the moment the other mosp (#10) died; it turned around and started flying away from the Hufflepuff student and towards the door, the instinct to follow the hive mentality stronger than anything else; the rest of the swarm that was in the main area was flying away, and that was exactly what this mosp had planned on doing, until it was hit by an Immobulus. @Zykeal Lane had casted the spell and hit the insect, that immediately fell on the ground; it stayed like that for a minute or so, before the spell wore off, and the bug finally managed to fly out of the door and back to the safety of the Forbidden Forest.

The Others
As for the other people in the Changing Rooms, @Alan Vanes , after snapping out of his trance-like state, decided to help out Jo. He pointed his wand towards her and casted Reparifors on the girl: the bleeding stopped, and the effect of the venom wore off; despite the fact that Jo regained 90 health , the wound was still there and it would have definitely required medical assistance once she would have gotten back to the castle. @Lucille Williams offered to help Jo walk out of there, and if the girl would have refused her help, then she had planned on helping another student. The brave, little badger @Jake Morris found the courage to run as fast as he could across the room, and stuck his head outside, calling out for help, hoping that one of the Professors would come to help the students in the Changing Rooms.

Now that all of the mosps were either dead or gone, the Changing Rooms became extremely silent, with @Jack Warren and @Jorah Moussa recharging their energy, and @Grace Mint still passed out on the floor.

All that the students could do at this point was help those that were hurt, and then go back to the safety that the castle offered them.

"Good god...You need to get out of here."
The Ravenclaw girl from earlier extended her hand. Jo bowed her head slightly towards the girl as she reached out to grip her palm, allowing it to guide her upwards even through the excruciating pain. It was just too hard to stay upright, however, and Jo slipped back to the floor with barely enough time to make sure her back would rest against a wall.

"S-sorry," she mumbled, head swimming. The girl was right; she needed to get to the hospital wing.
"Better not like th-this. If th-they are in here, th-there must be more outside."
The voice came from one of her housemates. Jo bristled slightly as he pointed his wand at her despite him showing no animosity. Perhaps it was the sharp and pointed end of the wand that had triggered such a reaction. Jo had gone through enough danger already, and all she wanted was to leave - a curious juxtaposition to her earlier fieriness when confronting Jack Burnett.
"Take your hands away from th-the wound for a second so I can heal it. It won't do much, but it will make you feel better th-than you are now. Reparifors."
The boy's tone of voice left no room for questions, and Jo quietly obliged. The effects of the spell were immediate. Jo's blood, which until now had been pooling onto the floor, coagulated over the wound and remained there, as if an invisible hand was staunching the blood flow with Quik-Clot gauze. The burning sensation that came from the mosp's hemotoxic venom faded into the memory of agony and a dull, throbbing ache.

"Thank you," Jo said as she smiled at the boy appreciatively, regaining her breath and her composure bit by bit. She had never heard of a such healing spell before, but it seemed to be working wonders. "It's much better. I think I'll stay here until someone comes..." (here she had to raise her voice to be heard above a certain frantic Hufflepuff)"Detention is the least of my worries right now."

"I heard you screaming, Slade - are you okay?" She inquired once she had calmed down and was finally able to take her mind off of her own pain and worry about others.

Jo reached down towards the dead mosp that had stung her and wrapped her hand around one of the stingers, slick with blood. Wit a bit of prying, it tore out of the dead insect with a wet squelch. The brunette scooted over a few inches and, grabbing the armrest of a chair, hoisted herself into it. “I want the nurse to know exactly what stung me,” she explained as she began to tear nasty little bits of the remaining bug meat away from the base. In actuality, she just wanted to see the look on Rafa’s face when she showed it to him. "Maybe the red ones have a different venom than the purple ones."

Jo wished she had had more time to actually have fun at the ball instead of staying cooped up in the dressing-room the whole time, but perhaps it was for the better - the changing room had offered more than enough excitement for the day.
Action: Ripping out one of Mosp #10's stingers to carry around in her wand case as a trophy of her victory like some kind of psychopath to take back to the nurse in case it could help clarify the exact insect Jo was stung by.

@Jake Morris
Coming to the door leading into the Changing Rooms, a small frightened face greeted her. "Mister Morris?" She knew the boy to be on the more... softer side of things and couldn't imagine how he had gotten mixed up in this ball. Perhaps it had been at the coaxing of friends and simply curiosity. Regardless, there the boy was and judging by the state he was in there was more going on in the rooms behind him. Typically she had a strict rule about physical contact with students but it seemed like she wasn't the only one breaking rules tonight. Holstering her wand, Kat put a hand out towards the boy as she used her right shoulder to push the door open enough to pass through, Kateri would offer him some form of comfort whether a hand to hold or rest against his shoulder.

Coming inside she noticed more students were still lingering. "Are you alright?" Giving the boy a once over she didn't see any wounds. The woman's breath caught in her chest. A splinter of panic struck her as memories from long ago flashed in her mind's eye. No, this was different. Kateri steadied herself and leaned closer to the Hufflepuff. "What happened in here? Is anyone injured?"

Alan had not been prepared for any of this. The last mosp fell to its demise, well not the last one. Alan was somehow happy that the last purple mosp had been able to make a successful escape and he would wonder what had made them leave? Could a mosp have fear? He shook his head, realizing his mind drifting away as he watched Jake get to the entrance of the changing rooms as he called for help. Meanwhile the girl he had just healed thanked him to which he nodded slightly. But his gaze quickly shot back to @Jake Morris. "Well done, Jake", he would let the young Hufflepuff know as he knew it must have taken a lot of strength for the fearful badger to go this step.

It was a success as soon enough a professor Alan only knew briefly from Astronomy class got into the changing rooms and looked around, asking whether someone was hurt. Alan could not help but let a sigh of relief escape, knowing that they were safe now, that a professor was here. "She got stung pretty badly, but I th-think I managed to heal the worst of it," he quickly escaped as he motioned to Jo who he was still kneeling next to. "The floor is quite slippery so be careful with th-that, Miss" he warned her, knowing full well of the slippery snow as he had fallen himself on it moments ago. He would glance back at the girl that was still wounded. He was about to ask her whether she felt better now, but paled at the sight of the ripped out stinger coated with the blood of the creature. He was glad they never got the chance to see the buffet, as he could feel slight nausea rise up in him. However he quickly forced himself to look away and glance at @George Henry and @Jack Warren, "Are you alright?" He had only briefly seen one of the mosps heading towards George but he did not seem injured which really was a relief to the third year; he would have never forgiven himself to let a friend get hurt out here. [If George and Jake (and Jack?) were to leave now, the third year would get up and join them after wishing the injured girl and the professor a good night.]
