Dorea Potter

For a while Opeila had tried to limit the game to public locations, but it seemed almost impossible. With eight teams running through the school, they would cross paths more than once for sure. And as the Dorea Potter Team had a shared start location with another team, Opeila tried even harder to make the rest of their path individual.
So eventually she had given up and included classrooms. No, no one had to break into a classroom and get detention for joining one of her games, but the clues were placed in clear sight, next to the door, attached to the wall with the gluing spell.

Starlee was ecstatic about this little competition. She wasn't around for the last year's dormbattle, what with being a first year and all, but any instance for a little friendly competition was something that she wanted to be a part of. Plus, it was a great way to end the year off. Starlee was certainly excited to go home, but she knew she would miss some of the friends she had made here. Plus, perhaps crushing Piper in a game of wits wouldn't be so bad, even if she was on the same team as Cash. Friendship ends when the game begins; that was the Kennedy family motto at least.
Her team consisted of herself and three others: Of course her dueling partner, Illowy, who she still felt bad about being of little use during their duel, but she hoped to make up for it now, Bridget, who had been a great team leader and fellow beater in their quidditch scrimmage, and then a third student, Thora, who Starlee hadn't met officially before, but had of course seen her around the dorm. Starlee was the youngest out of them all, but she hoped to prove useful in this competition.
And she was quite proud of her team already. Illowy had come up quickly with the first clue, and, while Starlee disagreed at first, she figured that her more experienced dueling partner could be on the right track. Turned out she was, as the four found the envelope in the Great Hall, and then ruminated over the next clue. Again Illowy had the answer, and they all seemed to agree, so it was off to the Charms classroom. She nodded fervently at Illowy's notion, the would certainly want to get there as quickly as possible to avoid any stair trouble.
Starlee tried to pull herself together as they made their way up the stairs to the Charms Classroom. She should have known that answer right from the get-go, she was a first year for pete's sake, and the question was based off of the first year curriculum. She wasn't exactly upset, but she wasn't happy with her performance so far. She tried to shake it off, telling herself she would get the next riddle correct.
They finally reached the classroom, approaching to find another envelope similar to the last adhered to the wall. The team wasn't meant to actually enter the classroom, that would have most likely broken some school rules, so this was the closest they would get. Starlee took the chance to pull it from the wall, and began to read it aloud to the group.
Starlee pondered this for a moment. Her usual quick wit seemed to be failing her today, as both Bridget and Illowy seemed to quickly agree that it was the Library, and, more specifically, the door to the restricted section. It certainly made sense, with the word 'RESTRICTED' in bolded words, just as it was written on the door, of which they obviously wouldn't be able to enter, hence why the clue said to go to the door, and not 'break your way into the restricted section.' Starlee laughed at the notion, but her inner tug to see just what was inside battled with her typical rule-following behavior. That line in the clue, plus the line 'Past the endless rows,' well, anyone could quickly guess that that meant the shelves in the library that seemed to go on for, well, ever, Starlee agreed that the answer simply had to be the library.RESTRICTED.
Go to the door
Pick up the clue
And make your way back
Past the endless rows.
And so the group continued onward, making their way back down the many flights of stairs to the Library. Again, the group would need to be fairly quick, in the hopes of not running into any stair trouble as they had managed to avoid while traversing up them. Meanwhile, Starlee was kicking herself for again not figuring out the answer. It certainly was a group effort, but she wanted to be able to show off to Piper that she was actually smart at something other than Herbology and Potions. She was happy at least that her team seemed to be doing fairly well, and she was excited to see what the next clue would be. At least if her team won, she would have that to shove in Piper's face - she would just ignore the fact that she didn't help as much with the riddle solving as she would have liked.
